Such a lovely, informative hidden gem. Jason took his time to answer all our questions and was beyond patient with our 1 year and 4 year old. A definite must visit. We walked out with a new, rich knowledge, and dare I say love for reptiles.

I assumed that this would be another run of the mill reptile park with a couple of snakes on display and that we would be out of there within an hour. I was very much mistaken. The Reptile park is an amazing experience for all ages. I was amazed at the huge variety of venomous and non-venomous snakes in the park. The snakes come from all over the world. There are also lizards, tortoises and crocodiles. Although people are generally afraid of snakes (and to be honest, some of the snakes look terrifying), the park tried to educate people regarding these cold blooded beauties. We attended 2 educational talks about venomous and non-venomous snakes. The snake handlers conduct their talks from inside the puff adder enclosure 😱. The talks were hugely educational. There is also an opportunity to interact with a ball python. Be prepared to spend at least 2 hours here if you exclude the educational talks. Call ahead to check the times of the talks. We arrived at around 14:30 and ran out of time. I personally loved the experience.

Very neat and clean, staff is knowledgeable, and the displays are good in general. The demonstrations are very good. Unfortunately, the curio shop is a bit disappointing with limited selections, and the crocodile and monitor lizard enclosures seem a bit small. All considered worthwhile!

They have a variety of different snakes. Venomous and non-venomous. Paid R150 to enter and and additional R50 to take a picture with one of the snakes. Also attended a presentation and the employee shared some facts about the albino python. It was interesting to learn new things about snakes. Also got to see some tortoises ,crocodiles , alligators , frogs and spiders. Overall experience 4/5.

Much more expected. Needs some love, attention and modernization with more interaction. Extremely disappointing to see decomposing lizards and injured animals in a place meant to educate and showcase.

Incredibly absorbing and informative visit! Jason made it all the more worthwhile with his display and discussion about venomous snakes in SA. It was very enlightening to talk to him about reptiles in general and then to meet one of the resident pythons in person. Highly recommended!

Truly the best experience I've had at a reptile park ever! The grounds are so well kept, with such a variety of beautiful animals. You can tell that the staff are all very passionate about reptiles and animals and they will go above and beyond to make sure your questions are answered and you have a great experience. I would also highly recommend staying for a demonstration of some of the reptiles. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, I learned so much about our slithery friends!

Good value for money, especially for kids who are interested in animals generally and particular reptiles. Handling of python was the highlight for our 5 year old twins. They loved seeing those large crocodiles in such short proximity

The park is filled to the brim with all different types of reptiles and amphibians. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and landed up staying for over three hours. The talks were informative and it appears to be doing great conservation work.

Amazing place for animal lovers especially those who fancy snakes, spiders, frogs and lizard specie. Handlers are extremely knowledgeable and the short demonstration is worth it. Often their are feeding times too. A large array of serpents as well as good selection of arachnids. Croc and alligator enclosure as well as an on site toxicology lab for milking venom. Good for the kids but great for all. Entry fee worth it at 150 (mid year 2021), small kids free. 🦎🐍🐊🕸️🤘

Staff were friendly and well versed on their subject matter. The displays on venomous and non venomous snakes were great. All the displays are clean and well maintained with a good variety of breeds to see. I would highly recommend.

At the Venomous display he was great and we had some great encounters plus he brought out a boa snake 🐍 for my son to hold. Highly recommend this for all. Friendly.
