I visited Commonspace for the first time ever today to be excited about enjoying a new coffee shop to only have my coffee and reading time abruptly interrupt by whom I assume is the owner yelling and cussing at the evening shift worker. His vulgarity overpowered the music really destroying any peace I came to this coffee shop to enjoy. I feel bad for the worker who he’s getting after because there are clients also trying to enjoy their drinks. After hearing and seeing this out in the open I no longer recommend this coffee shop. There’s a time and place to reprimand a worker but behind the coffee bar with patrons around is not one.

This was my first time trying Matcha and Commonspace Matcha Colada was on point! The place is beautiful, different and cool! You all need to try it out! They have a disco ball!💚🍍

Yahaira was amazing!!! she provided excellent customer service. I love the vibe and items they provide. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy a quiet place to relax.

Great quality coffee, excelllent selection of clothes, food was delicious for a reasonable price. Atmosphere like no other in the rio grande valley.

I have slowly but surely and will always be coming to common space the atmosphere is euphoric the employees are 10/10 very friendly and always have a 10/10 taste buds pallet for recommendations.The vibe and energy the location gives is very relaxing and will be coming here to do and kind of work I’ve been bringing all friends and families and each and every one enjoying it!! Thank you chowder!! For your amazing recommendations and vibes that you bring to the table MAGIC HANDS FOR EACH AND EVERY DRINK!!!

It makes me sad to read the negative comments about the Common Space owner. The owner is kind and compassionate. They have amazing coffee and good vibes!

I have been a customer and a fan of this place before it became a Coffee Shop. It has been great to see this place grow into what it has become. The fact that the owner had an idea and brought it to life amazes me. They definitely went above and beyond with everything. From the different drinks they offer to the food. The employees always have a smile on their faces and are always making suggestions on what you should try next. That goes to show they enjoy the workspace. I love the fact that even though it is now practically a Restaurant the same CommonSpace Vibe is still there. The free spirited and open vibe. It’s definitely a place to go and sooth your mind on a hard day or even just to go and treat yourself! Keep up the great work CommonSpace the RGV needed a place like yours!
