dr. rocky salinass fixed my tooth by finishing his work creating a crown then 6 months later, had a pin size cavity under the crown causing excrushiating pain on my molar after visiting the office on 23 he explained it was sure to happen ..what 1700.00 and thats supoose to happen big mistake while walking out the receptionist said it was ok no charge.. redo she (SYLVIA) SAID 1 month later they put it in the credit beurau. I have since then broken the crown in 1/2 since he drilled through it to kill the root again causing the crown to go weak. I would hate to go back to fix that, who knows what this facility is up to, but they need a lawsuit. I can't believe how disturbing it is. BBB was notified. Didn't reply to BBB......This is a reponse to you. This was NOT a thought. it was excrushiating pian,time and money loss by you Salinas...... Call your # right first you answer B.B.B. letter like they sent you. I know you have taken long to repond to this review. Why because courts only go so far in time. And not being in your computer every month i get a ltter that reminds me of my last redo and the bill would you like pictures of them. My computer has that, and the ins. Recipts. My banks statements of those charges. Shame on you Salinas.

This dentist does not even deserve any star. My visit there when I was teaching at PSJA left an eternal pain in my heart that I will never forget the destruction and pain he inflicted to me when dentist stuck my molar teeth together and won't unstuck them despite my complains and pleading that I cannot floss the in between of the teeth that caused gum inflammation after about 6 months, and later told me that now I needed a root canal which will need me to pay thousands of dollars. I even went back in the dentist clinic for the second time, again to tell him that he needed to unstuck the teeth as it caused me pain, but he said it was okay. PUBLIC BEWARE, NEVER WASTE NOR RISK YOUR HEALTH.

Horrible experience would not recommend after multiple mishaps, he left in the middle of an extraction left pt in pain and was told to see oral surgeon. This was not a new pt and had not been told for months of decaying moler until extraction was necessary only to blame pt for the problem.Later they tried blaming it on the antibiotics , would never go back to him again

GREEDY BUSINESS MAN. Ordered dental bonding to "adjust bite" after a root canal/ crown and fix cosmetic small chip in front $$$$$$ Extreme pain followed, there was nothing wrongwith my bite until after. Many visits later $$$$$$$ ended up with a shaved down crown with a small opening that caused my tooth to rotten leading now to a extraction and NECESSARY tooth implant. Mr. Salinas during extraction tore into my gum almost all the way up! Extreme pain, sensitivity and $$$$$$. His response was that it would heal! My front tooth looks like it has a piece of hard gum attached to it due to dental bonding.

insurance clerk misinformed me on the amount insurance would cover for a periodontal cleaning which took about 30 minutes without anesthesia and 1 filling with local anesthesia. I paid $428 when work was done and they billed the insurance another $522. now I get a bill for an additional $280 when the girl assured me that I only had to pay the $428. even wrote it on the estimate after speaking with my insurance. They also tried to sell me roughly $7000. worth of additional cosmetic stuff. I would not recommend this place to any of my coworkers or anybody else unless you have deep pockets and money is no object to you.

The recent extractions performed by MY new dentist, Rocky Salinas, was the most comfortable experience I have ever had, believe it or not! Of course there is some soreness afterward, but that is to be expected. The entire staff at RGV Smiles is so friendly and helpful. Johanna from the front office called me the day after to find out how I was doing after the extractions and deep cleaning. I am so looking to get my smile back!!

I highly recommend Doctor Salinas. They actually listen to you and they work with you to make your visit a good. Can say enough about Johanna who works real hard to get the VA to respond as soon as possible. Great people great place thank RGV Smiles and staff.
