The rooms are clean. The service was good. The location is good. It's close to Walmart and restaurants. The only issue we had was that they have cats that go in and out of all the rooms before and after cleaning, and my husband is really allergic. She said they clean for that but he was sneezing and coughing when we left. Wish we would have known.

Rooms are nice and at an affordable price. Breakfast is varied and tasty. Staff is on the ball with covering issues. The hotel has three adorable cats, and one touched noses with me meaning it trusts me. Very good hotel for certain, and I enjoyed all three trips I've had there. Only complaint I have is that having the bathroom light outside of the bathroom itself is questionable.

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Had no issues with checking in nor the room itself. We showed up to the breakfast closer to when it ends, and it was understocked. Definitely will stay again.

I have not stayed here in quite a while, however, this place has always been top notch on quality, cleanliness, and price. Hands down one of the Goats, as it pertains to local motel hotel holliday inn's. Nah, but it's got a nice homey feel and parking lot feels secure and clean.

This was the cutest place me and my family have stayed at. The gentleman behind the desk was absolutely amazing!!! They have clean rooms and a great breakfast. I would recommend anyone to stay here!

Completely impressed with this hotel. For the price, my expectations were not very high. I'm used to staying in dated hotels on the road. I can attest that this hotel is staffed with friendly, helpful staff, the rooms are spotless, and updated. Don't change a thing, you guys are top shelf!!

This hotel was nice and not too bad for the price. We stopped by here since we were traveling to North Dakota and this was a pleasant stay. The rooms were big and cleaned to perfection. The best we’re comfortable and I just passed out once I laid down. Only thing is if you have dogs they have cats in the front and inside the front desk.

I called to see if they had Big truck parking which they did. I explained to the gentleman that I was talking to that I would need assistance with my bags As I am still recovering from a near fatal Truck accident on August 5th and am using the cane. He gave me Directions on where to park my truck at that were accurate and simple and he watched for me to arrive and walked all the way up to the truck parking lot to get my bags and carry them in. He checked me in and carried my bags to my room and put them in my room for me. Is a clean nice And well maintained hotel and for $75 you can't go wrong. I will definitely be staying here again when I come through here and I will bring my family here when we go on vacation through here this summer.

Everything was a bit dated. Could use some TLC and a good deep cleaning. Very basic hotel overall.

Very soft bed. The owner doesn't skimp out on the mattress. Coffee provided in room is disgusting, but it's hotel coffee, pretty standard. No noisy guests, wasn't bothered by cleaning lady. Good water pressure in shower, and heat. Adequate facilities. Had to ask for a reasonable amount of towels for two people. (The towels provided are small)

Overall a clean hotel, very friendly staff. Great location. However before you make your reservation, note they do have free roaming cats. So if you're allergic to cats, keep that in mind. They never ventured into the rooms, but they would wander the halls. Very cute, but, again, a heads up. Cats.

Really nice place. I was not sure what to expect and I did not have high hopes, however, I was pleasantly surprised. Seems like a nice, family owned place, not a chain. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and it had all the amenities like soap, shampoo etc. the bathroom was clean and the water was hot. The room wasn’t noisy, and the air conditioning worked well and wasn’t noisy either. My car was safe in the parking lot. They had a breakfast until 9 I believe, that was good. The food was great and hot, I had no complaints and they had decent coffee as well. They have a couple of cats who hang out in the lobby and they are very nice and friendly. They also have a nice fishtank in the lobby. Great hotel with friendly staff located right off the road. Definitely recommend this place and would stay/will stay here again if stopping in McCook again.

Hands down my favorite hotel I’ve stayed at yet. We travel quite a bit for club sports, and I wanted to save some money by going with a cheaper option this time, instead of the usual branded hotels. Best decision ever. Location is great, easy to get in and out of. It’s right near restaurants and a grocery store. Staff was super friendly, rooms are spacious and clean, 4 pillows per bed which is a commodity these days. My favorite part, though was the mascots. They make the place feel like a home rather than a hotel. If I come thru again, I will definitely stay here.

We ended up at the Horse Creek Inn at the last minute and we were not disappointed! Clean, comfortable rooms…quiet….plus the adorable “hotel cats” that greeted us at check in! On top of that, a continental breakfast featuring homemade biscuits and gravy and toasted pecan coffee….yum! This will definitely be our lodging of choice any time we visit.

Stayed here last fall on my way from Vegas back to Florida; Had to be in McCook to meet a dog rescue foster family and pick up a Saint Bernard. I rolled in late at night, and was happy to be off the road. With that said, I would have been happy with "average" but was really pleased with the whole experience. The cat "greeters" were cool, as others have said, but I think they knew I was a dog person. Anyway, I would absolutely stay here if I found my way to McCook again.

Clean room, good rates, allow pet (with fee), close to lots of other businesses. Easy check-in and great beds too!

Nice place for a good night's sleep. Has a lot of pet guests and residents. Doesn't have a lot of unnecessary stuff that a lot of hotels have, like pools, business center, gym, just a good room, with good parking.

Really nice place to stay. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had at a hotel. Will definitely be staying here again the next time we pass through.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are nice and clean, and there's security cameras so I felt very safe. The staff was also very friendly, and they mailed my headphones back to me. Anytime I come through McCook, this is definitely where I'll be staying.

Really nice hotel for a good price. Rooms are very clean, staff is friendly, and the cats roaming the lobby were a nice surprise! Will definitely be back if in the area.

This place has lobby cats! Love it! Automatic 5 stars! The rooms were actually nice too and it didn't break the bank as a bonus. To others who might be allergic to cats, fair warning that the cats do roam freely through the halls. Fortunately for me, not a problem!

Stayed here while in town on a fishing trip- clean, quiet and comfortable at a very affordable price. Arrived mid morning and was offered to check in early so we could unpack our cars and the boat. Access nearby to electric outlet outside made it really easy to hook our boat up to charge. Great location close to everything you need, and every staff member we talked to were friendly and helpful. And the super friendly cats were awesome! Will absolutely stay here again!

STAY HERE! This hotel is frequented by contractors and fills up very quickly. Reservation recommended. Very clean rooms and common areas. Comfortable beds. Fairly priced. Friendly and courteous staff. Guest laundry room. There's a furry four-legged welcoming committee to greet you by the lobby. Complimentary breakfast 0600-0900 includes biscuits and gravy. Spent 5 nights here and was very pleased by everything. I'd rather stay here than any big chain ever again.

Nice place to stay the night. Clean rooms, soft beds, and nice bathrooms. There is a heater light in the bathroom so you can be extra warm while showering! Our room had 2 queen beds with a fridge and microwave, and with taxes and everything we paid $87. The AC was nice and cold. They had an adorable outdoor cat that sat by the entrance to welcome us. Highly recommend the Horse Creek Inn if you are driving through or staying in McCook. We didn't try the breakfast because we slept in, but I read great things about it.

It is almost beyond funny when the Motel states that ONLY specific rooms are available for pets, yet I observed three cats randomly wandering the property in the lobby, breakfast area, hallway and outside the building. The breakfast could be rated fair. Motel DEFINITELY needs some updating.

We stayed here last night. Rooms were clean, and we found it easy to rest. Pet friendly but not the nicest cats I have ever encountered. We brought our dog, and as I came back into the hotel, we were chased down by one of their resident cats. I was attacked and injured by this cat. The lady at the front desk came after the cat as she saw it happening. I would stay again but prefer not to see that cat ever again. I even pulled a cat claw out of my jeans that were damaged as well.

A convenient low-cost place to spend a night on the road. The complimentary breakfast didn't have a lot of items, but was adequate for getting an early start on the day. They start serving at 5.30 am! The plumbing is a bit noisy, and or bed had a day in the middle, but those were only minor issues.

If you're in McCook and need someplace to stay, this is it. The staff were friendly (including the cat who greeted us on the way in). The room was clean, and breakfast was pleasant if understocked. We will definitely stay here again. Certainly beats the filthy pit that is Sky Palace/Coratel down the street.
