    Stopped in for a quick lunch today. Greeted and sat immediately. Our server was Carrie, she was fun, friendly and very quick! We shared the street nachos, they are delicious! They have a melty cheese sauce that has a bit of a bite to it, but delicious AND shredded cheese that is melted on top, seasoned ground beef, sour cream and pico de gallo that is fresh and spicy along with fresh jalapeños. It is a huge portion, perfect for sharing! Then we each had a bowl of the Chicken tortilla soup. It is not much to look at, but it had pretty good flavor and we added shredded cheese to ours! Was a filling lunch with great service!

    well done steak and got pink steak. drinks took forever like FOREVER, my husbands steak took an hour. my kids lemonade was like water, my kids food came out with my pink not well done steak and my husbands food came out when we were done eating. manager gave us a comp for when we come back but we will not be back. Not worth the wait. Bill was over 100 but manager comp $35 which brought it to $84 with change but the food was not worth the price and the wait. not busy either si i was surprised. other tables complaining too overheard someone asking for manager when leaving. she can keep the comp for the next time because we will not be back.

    Got seated in a very poor lit area for starters. Waited around 10 minutes to order and a whole 45 minutes later our server asked if we we’re ready for the check. We hadn’t even gotten our food 2 burgers that was all. Absolutely ridiculous never going back.

    Visited 6/16. 2 of us got sick from the southwest chicken bowl. Service was laughably slow. Waited 20+ mins to get drinks while watching the wait staff stand around and BS. Waitress was nice enough but zero urgency. Restaurant was freezing cold. HORRIBLE experience and will never come back to this location!!!

    There were 4 of us tonight having dinner, bill was almost $80. The salads were good, the cheese sticks were good and hot. The food took a long time to come out (45 min). When we did get the food, only two meals came out and 10 min later the next one and another 10-15 minutes the last meal came out. The only thing on the meals that were warm was the mashed potatoes. They remade one of the meals and about 20 min later that came out. The manager gave us $6 off the meal they had to redo. The place was not very busy. My family and I will not be back.

    Been years since we've been to an Applebee's, merely because they closed the bulk of them many years ago. Prompted by the song "Fancy Like" (c'mon y'all know what I'm talking 'bout), we decided on a change in birthday venue for my daughter. Yes we played the song as drove there, but no that song was not playing at all while we were there. The pluses: *Awesome service by Amelia. Sincerely, the best thing about tonight's experience. *Great prices on drinks! My daughter got a Bahama Mama for 4.75 and I ordered a $5 frozen drink special. They were good sizes too. *Got to use a gift card that was 10 years old all because they had closed all the Applebees by where we used to live. The downsides: *The menu really hasn't changed much. ( Some may think this is a plus) *The food was not at all as good as we remember. Bottomline, we will most likely be back for drinks and possibly appetizers but not likely for dinner.

    Had a really nice server when we stopped in today. She kept the drinks refilled perfectly and was knowledgeable about the menu. The food was pretty good.

    Visited the evening of 9/29 and really wish we hadn’t. Got there just after 8pm, there were a few tables of people but not terribly busy. Server arrived for our drink order and we ordered our food at the same time. Server came back with drinks from the bar but forgot the water that was requested. Food was delivered but my fiance had ordered a mushroom Swiss burger but was given a club chicken sandwich. 10 minutes passed with no server and she arrived back with his burger and a to go box because in that 10 minutes she had realized she gave him the incorrect food. The to go box was for the food he didn’t order in case he wanted to bring it home. Asked for the aforementioned glass of water and a side of ranch for the salad I ordered. A few minutes later server comes by and removes some plates from our table, still no water or dressing. Drinks we did have were empty. 10 minutes later she arrives with ranch and water. Waited a ridiculous amount of time for the bill, finally my fiancé remote started his car from the window and the bartender tells our server “I think they want to leave” and she arrived with the bill. To add to the bad experience, both my fiancé and I were sick for the rest of the evening and still having stomach issues today. Definitely something wrong with that food! This is a hard review to leave because most of my reviews are positive in nature but this was just a terrible experience overall. Our server was very sweet and pleasant but not on task at all. We still tipped well because we know serving is a difficult job and gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was just having a bad night!

    The food was good. They were short staffed in the kitchen. We gave ourselves 1 hr and 15 minutes for dinner. We had to ask for to-go containers because the food came out 10 minutes before we had to leave. Our server was great, she tried to rush them. the marks aren't against her. Food has gotten expensive, and we deserve to enjoy it. Not reheat it.

    My experience at Applebee's was absolutely dreadful. The service was abysmally slow, as if time itself had ground to a halt. It took 20 minutes after I placed my order for them to inform me they didn't have the item I requested. Then, I waited 45-minutes for boneless wings that seemed to have been prepared in the distant past. They looked at though they were prepared hours before, reheated and re-tossed in sauce... and they tasted that way too. When my wife's Chicken Alfredo finally arrived, it was clear it had been languishing under a heat lamp for well over 10 minutes. The once-promising salads had wilted into a pathetic, unappetizing mess. I can safely say I will never subject myself to such an ordeal at Applebee's again. Not sure why I expected anything different. Atrocious!

    Applebee's in our town closed, I wanted the chicken oriental salad and baked french onion soup so 4 of us drove to McHenry. My soup and salad was good. Bahama Mama cocktails were not good. My husband's steak was disappointing, not a good steak. Overall we were disappointed and wouldn't drive out there for them again.

    We came here for my friends birthday tonight. I ordered the grilled chicken that came with the garlic mashed potatoes & steamed broccoli & it was absolutely delicious! We loved our server Brittany as well, she was very friendly 😊

    Our waitress was the best we have EVER had and that made everything including the food exceptional! It takes a lot for me to say that considering I was a waitress for 20 years so I'm pretty picky and Brianna was 10x the waitress I ever was. Plus she was genuinely happy to be at work, a quality hard to find nowadays. We'll be back .

    The service was some of the worst I have ever experienced in my life. From the flirting with my date by the hostess to the server ignoring him. We placed our order clearly, but it was not received the way it was explained. I will not be going back to this location.

    This is the second time we have gotten food from there and taken it home to eat (normally eat there but it was late wasn't feeling up to it) ordered online asked for extra Mashed potatoes didn't get them instead I got fries I didn't order fries, ordered cheese curds they were so hard and crispy couldn't eat half of them. Asked for extra bbq sauce for riblets and wings didn't get that. The BBQ sauce we had on them was barely anything. I didn't get my ranch which was fine the girl said they ran out they would have to make it I didn't want to wait I just got off work and everything she offered drinks or anything like that instead I said no thank you. But when I got home and realized all the stuff I was missing I was very disappointed. Always eat there in person I shouldn't feel like I cant order to go and it won't come out the same way as if I ate inside. Just disappointed lately when we go there.

    I came in with my daughter the other night just to order a couple desserts to go. We went to the bar to order and Brittany was the one that took care of us. Hands down Brittany is the best server I've ever had. Even though we were only ordering desserts to go, Brittany went above and beyond. Most of the time when you order food to go at restaurants, they take your order and your payment and then Don't really bother with you until it's time to hand you your food. That was not the case with Brittany. She offered us drinks, took her time to talk with my daughter, came back while we were waiting on our food to make sure we didn't need anything else, and was just a friendliest server I've ever had. We did not come in until 10:40 p.m. which was 20 minutes before close, so I know that the servers were also busy doing their side work and closing work so they can try and get out of there. But with Brittany you would never guess because she was very attentive. When we left my daughter, who is 4 asked me if we can go back and eat there this weekend because she said Brittany was very nice and she likes her a lot. So if you willing to Applebee's, ask if Brittany is working and if she is you definitely want her to be the one to serve you.

    My food was served very hot which was a good change. The bad part, I didn't get my food till the rest of my group of 6 were almost done eating. Waitress only came back to the table once. Took us a long time to get someone to handle the problem.

    Like the 2 for $25 options. Our guest was expecting the BBQ ribs to be fall off the bone tender (they were not fyi) so we took them home to share with family as sauce was flavorful Overall, the place was clean, staff was pleasant and food was served hot, just nothing to rave about in terms of flavor. Guess we got what we paid for is all.

    If I could give no stars I would. We were told that it would be awhile because they were short handed, ok that I understand, but there was only one other couple in there. Waitress was great. We waited over an hour and half for our meal, got it and it was cold. Didn't want to send back because we didn't want to wait any longer. Just a terrible experience. Will never recommend to anyone

    I share this as someone who delivers for Door Dash. I get these orders often and the customers tip out decent, hence why I accepted them to begin with. However their cook staff is beyond slow. Every single time I've had to pick up here, I've had to wait for 15 minutes at least. I've unassigned many times because the wait went even beyond 20 minutes for very simple orders that were sent long before I even arrived with an empty restaurant. This is a warning to fellow DDD or other drivers. They aren't worth your time or effort usually.

    Atmosphere is standard. Service was ok. Even though items order were forgotten! The food, well let's say some of it was ok. The food took to long to be served and the restaurant was not busy at all. It was definitely not hot when it finally made it to the table. Boneless chicken wings and tenders were over cooked and had a hard crust, couldn't even stab with a fork! And we were served under cooked rotten broccoli, I could see the mold on the bottom of the crowns of course only after I took a quick bite of one. Hopefully I don't get sick from it. Live and learn! We were offered a replacement item for the broccoli and it was delivered by the manager. Waitress and manager both apologized for this mistake and that was appreciated but I still felt unsatisfied with the situation! I believe things should have been handled differently! Especially for a Restaurant chain that advertises fresh hot food. We won't be eating there again. I hope others have a better experience!

    They currently have a 2 for 30 that is incredible ... perfect date dinner .... also the staff Is on point. You can never really count on staff mood or memory ...depending on the day and or customers (abusive customers) at any food joint. but the food deals are outstanding.

    Edit: Only for my last experience, which was curbside pickup. It's my husband's and my anniversary, so we figured Applebee's of course. We were in a hurry though so we ordered curbside pickup. It said it would be ready at 7:46. We got there at 7:47 and checked in. We waited over 12 minutes and I went in to see what was going on. I guess something was up with the broccoli. I went back out and wait another 5 minutes. Both staff members that I spoke with were very polite, apologetic, and kind. I wouldn't even be writing this had it not gotten worse when we got home and went to eat it. 1 steak was supposed to be medium and the other medium well... Both were very red/dark pink and I ended up having to microwave them. Yuck. Also, 1 side of broccoli was great, however the other was disgusting, smushed, and almost soup like. The food barely had any flavor. Applebee's is usually our go to, but these meals just tasted very bland and boring. There was nothing special or satisfying about it. ☹️ It's disappointing because we were really looking forward to getting home and enjoying it. For me to give only ⭐⭐'s is very, VERY rare. I love Applebees. Unfortunately my experience this visit was flawed. Our steaks weren't cooked as we asked for (rather than medium well I was given almost rare) and started eating it without realizing it at first. The waiter came to check up on us and I told him about the steak, so he, apologized and went to get the manager. The manager came over and saw my steak and asked my husband if she could see his. His was also a little off, but not too bad. She kindly offered us new meals each and allowed us to keep the other ones so that we could heat them up at home. When the new steaks arrived the manager asked us to check them to make sure they were ok, so we sliced them open. I could see the manager become a little irritated on our behalf, because my husbands steak was now wrong and she realized that they accidentally brought us 6oz steaks rather than the 8oz ones we had ordered. I could tell she felt bad, especially since we had let them know before our replacements were ready that we were having to rush to get home to let our babysitter go. So, she had the kitchen make us a few sides real quick and put our, then take home, meal on the house. We still wanted to leave the wonderful waiter a tip, so she gave us .01c bill for us to do so. Then, as I tried to pay at the table, the machine was having issues and not allowing me to. At this point everything just became hysterical. I couldn't help but laugh at how much everything was going wrong. Despite everything going wrong, though, the kindness and professionalism of the employees made it a good experience.

    Great experience this evening. Party of four went after a movie for coffee and dessert and the staff was so attentive. Our server was Nathan and he was amazing before we left the manager Kristen approached us to check and see if we were happy with our service and food. Everything was above par.
