This is the place to get the absolutely best baked goods (ladylocks!) and cakes you'll ever taste. You will never find better icing anywhere else, I promise you. I am from this area but I currently live in Austin, TX. The closest I've found to Minerva was a Whole Foods cake and it was like a 7/10 whereas Minerva is and has always been 10/10 for me. Their icing is the lightest, creamiest and not too sweet. Please don't ever change this recipe. I came to town to visit family and they bought me this lovely "Thanksgiving" cake since I won't be here for the holiday. Their decoration is also so pretty. But again I stress, you will NEVER find better icing as long as they use their current recipe. If you've never tried it, you are big time missing out.

Minerva Bakery did our wedding cake in October, 2021 and it was perfect! We were able to pick 3 different fillings (one for each layer) and they have so many designs to pick from. They worked with us on the design we wanted and we could not have been happier with the outcome. All of our guests raved about how delicious it was. Would definitely recommend this bakery...and not just for wedding cakes!

Minerva Bakery was founded in the year 1923, and it is still in business. The bakery sells a variety of cookies, nut rolls, cakes, and other desserts. Prices are very reasonable. My family often buys cakes from here. The cakes are moist and have lots of sweet icing.

By the afternoon, the donuts looked very old. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious, especially dipped in chocolate!

Ugliest birthday cake picked up on Friday. Not only was it ugliest cake I ever ordered in over 50 years but made a yellow cake not white like I ordered. Minerva has certainly gone downhill. Wonder if they will get to celebrate 101.

This was once a great bakery, the iced cakes looked as if a non professional amateur decorated the cakes to say the least except for the smores cake, the rest were pitiful looking. And where were the bakery managers that allowed this to be placed on display?They were done half hearted to say the least. Bought 1.5 dozen of cookies, many had various icing on, the girl placed them all in a box too small, the cookies were sticking together, stupidity at its finest. I will continue my business at Pastries a la Cart on 51 thank you.

My wedding cake was made by this bakery 44 years ago and I have had good and bad experiences. I called this morning to order a birthday and was told to hold. The employee put the phone down and I waited 20 minutes listening to people's in store conversations. When I ordered the cake I was told I couldn't pick it up until after 10:45 am. Now they are telling me when to pick up a cake instead of me telling them. I thought bakers baked through the night.

I love this bakery since I was younger! Their chocolate chip cookies dipped in chocolate on one half is my favorite! But however still mad about them not making their pepperoni rolls anymore. They had the best ones.

An adorable pink bakery with friendly service and the best elephant ears I’ve ever had! They also have great breads and rolls; I enjoy their seedless rye bread.

This place is sooooooooo freaking good. The icing they use for their products is the best I’ve ever tasted. I wish they sold it by the tub. Lol. It’s not just the icing all their products are out of this world good. I travel from about 30 minutes away to come here. They’re way better than the overrated Oakmont Bakery.

Minerva's is the Best bakery around. The cupcakes are scrumptious. They are heaped up with icing and the sponge is sooooo moist. Yummy! Try there nut horns.....huge and soaked in honey. There paska bread for the holidays outshines everyone's. They dont scrimp with the raisins. Loaded with deliciousness. Prices are within reason of the goodness of the goods.

The bakery makes excellent products. I've been going there for years. I recently wanted to obtain some of their Cinnamon -raisin bread. I was there @7am. I was told that the raisin bread was not made that early. I asked when I may return to obtain a couple of loaves of bread (which I might add is the best). The staff was unable to tell me when to return. She said I might try calling the bakery to find out when it would be available. I called couple hours later only to find out that they had sold out. I think that they could come up with a better system. Do I have to wait out on the sidewalk to see when they put the loave out on the rack to be able to obtain one? This is not the first time that this occurred. Maybe they should make more loaves, just sayin.

Great employees awesome baked goods. The elephant ears are great and the Raisen bread has become a family favorite. Never had a bad experience.

Couldn't wait to get home after having bought a large Paska (Easter bread) at Minervas, but when I cut it into pieces for freezing til the Holiday, I found that the center was still doughy, having not been baked completely. Hopefully an adjustment can be made when I return it to Minerva's tomorrow.

If I could leave NEGATIVE STARS I would. Our grandson's christening cake was ordered, a deposit made, and we went to pick it up DAY OF Christening, and they were closed. No call, nothing. We have ordered exclusively from Minerva's for over 30 years. NEVER AGAIN. I WILL NEVER ORDER A THING FROM THEM AGAIN.

This King Cake was so very, very good. Best ever. We had 2 from 2 different bakeries and this one was hands down the best. Only caveat, no baby! We buy the cake for the baby!!!
