Front end staff have poor client skills, no greetings, no eye contact, immediately asks for insurance card and money. Technician that helped me had the same cold monotone demeaner. The actual doctor was warm and did greet me with an introduction and handshake. I paid for an eye exam, to update my prescription. I was told I don't need glasses. I currently do in fact wear glasses. I told the staff this and they said I probably don't need them. I do need them, and use them. I mentioned this incident to a friend who has gone here. They were also told they don't need glasses, even though they wear glasses daily for reading. Disappointed to now have to visit a different clinic, probably drive to the city, in order to update my prescription. Waste of money.

I had a chemical splash in my eye and was referred to McMinnville Eye Clinic by a local optometrist. The reception staff was great, took my issues seriously and worked me into the schedule right away. The support staff were welcoming and professional. Dr. Gross was great to work with... professional, explained what he was doing in a reassuring way, very clear on what he was looking for and how to treat. Great care. I would recommend them with no reservations.

Terrific experience at this clinic. Easy to schedule, thoughtful team, and they got me in and out efficiently. The facility is a pleasure to be in and thoughtfully designed. Most importantly, they discovered a problem that none of my previous ophthalmologists or optometrists had seen. Impressed and grateful.

From the front desk helpers to the final touches you receive on your glasses- the ENTIRE staff is friendly, informed, and professional. I’ve been going to the clinic for over 7 years and I have only received the best of care. Now my entire family are patients including my two young girls. The staff isn’t just great with adults but also the littles. Dr. Maxfield was able to remove a foreign object pierced into my four year-olds eye without going to surgery- he made her feel calm and safe and quickly was able to perform the removal. Dr. Gross also was able to convince my five year old to trust him enough to dilate her eyes, to look for damage after she was hit in the head with a ball. I was beyond impressed with the doctors and nurses ability to calm my girls and get what I thought was the “impossible” done!

Super easy and helpful eye clinic. The front desk folks were supportive and friendly. I was able to get in on-time and found the whole appointment to be very efficient. The doctor was very knowledgeable and caring. Overall I found the clinic to be professional and kind.

I just wanted to give a shout-out to Cielo, who helped me pick my frames and lenses today. I was having a really hard time finding frames that I liked, and she hung in there with me for nearly an hour, including calling her distributor to check on alternate sizes and colors. I really appreciated her patience and attitude, and I am super excited to get my new glasses!

I had an amazing experience at McMinville eye clinic! Every staff member was kind, professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Gross was very thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend using him for all eye care needs.

What a joke! The eye exam needed to be repeated as glasses I received were not correct. Billing was not properly done. Told me in July they needed referral from doctor with specific date. Doctor office sent it. Month later they tell me insurance paid in May!?!?! Every time you contact them, you get a different story. Sooooo glad we’ve gone elsewhere.
