All praise for this family managed bed and breakfast place. Owners are very friendly. Rooms are super clean and even though toilets are common they are super Clean and hygienic.

Idyllic “Gasthof” with a nice atmosphere, perfect for a quiet relaxing weekend away. When I arrived I has some issues with my booking through Booking.com (which had nothing to do with the gasthof) and my booking didn’t come through. Luckily the room was still available and I was able to book it there on the spot. It’s owned by a friendly and helpful dutch couple which made the communication for me very easy. The room was nice and clean. It looked like the pictures I saw on Booking.com, very characteristic. Also the shared bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect, good variety and decent amount. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in this area I can surely recommend staying here.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Gasthof Burg Hausen. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome. Everything was clean, including the shared bathrooms. We enjoyed the breakfast. Guests should be award that the restaurant is not open everyday.

We had a great stay at this unique location. The area is beautiful and there are some authentic villages in the neighbourhood. The hotel has 2 lovely terrasses and a cosy bar. The rooms are very basic, and super clean. The bathrooms are to be shared with other guests. Food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) & drinks excellent. Very friendly staff. A unique place for an affordable, relaxing stay.
