It’s not just this time but the last 17 attempts out of 20 to eat from this Waffle House have been frustrating, and maybe 8 times we have failed to get food. They close when they feel like it. They don’t answer the phone, today when they did actually answer the phone AND took my order I was really surprised. But when I got to the restaurant the server had not placed the order with the cook. When I came by an hour ago they were closed. As u can see the amount of business is overwhelming. And the server just told a guy tilt would be a while before he got service and that customer left. It’s not the staff. It’s management, training, infrastructure. Worst Waffle House in the city. Keep driving

This is by far the worse Waffle House I have been too. Do not waste your money,appetite and time here. Place is filthy, service is awful! No greeting when we walked in. Waited about 10 min before I walked up to a server to ask if we seat ourselves or is there a wait. The bar was empty when we walked in but no one bothered to clean the counter off. It is 5 people back there and just have no awareness or sense of urgency. Talking about other things and on the phone! In all my dining experiences I have never witnessed someone else order food from another restaurant and eat it while serving and cooking in front of our faces(check images)! And on top of that waited 45 min to get our food. Waitress never asked if we even needed a damn refill! And the kicker right here.. we were leaving close to 2 pm and three people walked in and the lady told them WE ARE CLOSED!! WE ARE NOT SERVING ANYMORE! This is Waffle House you open all day! Based upon these other reviews this establishment is a disgrace to the Waffle House chain! I repeat stay away from this Waffle House!

If you expect quality service this is not the place for you. From ordering my food over the phone to pick up was nothing less than unnecessary. The reviews are real and honest. Take heed to the other comments. The lady eating in the pictures posted in another review is a fact.

We are doing a roadtrip across the country and this was my worst experience by far! No employee has a smily face! We sat for 15 minutes and nobody even paid attention! I even asked 2 different waitresses for a menu but still it did not come! I can tell who they have overall 3.5 stars!!!

I typically enjoy waffle house but this location is probably the worst location I’ve been too. Owner needs to to do something because it is beyond dirty and also has German roaches running around. Also they’re extremely understaffed. Find another Waffle House or a local breakfast place.

Fairly new location. When I arrived it was almost empty and it still took over 5 minutes before I was attended to. The server was pleasant but was not too familiar with the menu or terminology. (I've been ordering my hash browns " Scattered, Smothered, and Covered" for a long time!) Being that it must have been after the lunch time rush because it was so empty you would think that my food would have been prepared quickly. But, it took longer than any other Waffle House I have ever been to. The table was empty of dirty dishes but never wiped off. If I was not short on time today I would have left as soon as I walked in...see for yourself.

Staff was rude. Tables that customers had left was not cleaned off a timely matter. Patrons were standing long periods of time just for someone to clean off the tables. Over 10 people walked out due to poor customer service. They were fully staffed too!! Won't go again!!

I love Waffle House but this one needs some love... I've been there twice and I have walked out twice. The first time there were two parties ahead of me and several empty tables that hadn't been cleaned off from the previous guests. None of the employees seemed interested in bussing the tables - after five minutes of waiting and no one being seated I left. The second time I sat at the bar. There was a large plate of cooked bacon in front of the grill. The cook sat down a rag he'd been wiping things down with. The rag was clearly touching the food but he didn't seem to care so I left again without ordering. I hope they get right - the area needs a quick breakfast joint

Yes! This is a good Waffle House. Clean, fast service, plenty of parking, coffee was fresh and super budget friendly. We tried the All American - plenty of food. And WAIT - they have a 1/2 priced waffles on WEDNESDAY from 2pm-9pm.

As a Charlotte native I’ve had more local waffle house meals than I can count. I have never EVER had hash browns like I had today. INCREDIBLE!! They were the best I’ve ever had and I ordered them the same as I always have. Michael, your hash browns are magical! The entire staff was welcoming and worked as a team to create an upbeat and positive environment. At the waffle house!! Go see these guys, they’re doing it right.

This Waffle House was perfect. Location was clean and staff was awesome. They were extra friendly and greeted everyone as they came in . Food excellent and cooked to Perfection. I had the chicken eggs and pecan waffle. My servers name was Cici she was very attentive, friendly and prompt. We would definitely return to this location.

I never leave a poor review but the breakfast experience I had here was uncomfortable and completely unprofessional. I asked our server for a few things and she forgot, so I asked again. We were done with our food for 10 minutes and still hadn’t gotten our waffles, so I asked about them and the response from our sever was rude and distasteful. She had an attitude like I had inconvenienced her for asking. She made me feel so uneasy that we left without asking for a togo box for our leftovers. 1/10 - don’t go here. Drive to a different location for your All Star Breakfast. I will never go back.

This is the only Waffle House in the state that I will go to. The energy in here is always live; these are some of the kindest and most joyful people you'll ever meet, ESPECIALLY for being in the service industry. The food was great, but I've never had an experience like this at a waffle house before. From the time my date and I walked in the door to the time we walked out, our server didn't say one single word to us...well except for when I ask for sweet tea, he did comment and say that they did not have any, but that was it lol. It wasn't because he was busy, because there was only 1 other customer. Definitely a weird experience for a waffle house.

I ordered 4 omelettes, and they were so greasy that we felt like we were eating oil. They placed two jellies in each container but had no toast…and when I asked for toast they told me it would be an extra $2.50.

Seen several employees inside. So while I finished smoking my cigarette nobody came in or left and there was only a handful of customers. So when me and my wife are walking in we notice a few employees get up from where they are sitting and start making it look like they were busy. There was literally no where to sit because all the tables hadn't been cleaned and still had dirty dishes and food all over them. I can honestly say this is the very first time I have ever turned my nose up and walked out of a restaurant because it was so nasty inside. Didn't get a welcome hey how are y'all or nothing. I wish I could give 0 stars because this waffle house doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Best Waffle House I’ve been to in a while. They’re clean, fast, and friendly. Waffle House usually feels like a hit or miss but this location is definitely a big HIT. They even answered the phone to place an order ahead of my arrival. Thank you for the great service.

I love their breakfast bowls full of scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, hashbrowns, etc. Deeeeeeee-lish!! Despite being swamped with a standing room only situation when we were there, the two young ladies who waited on us maintained smiles and happy dispositions from start to finish.

I rarely eat at Waffle House, but had just come into town to visit and placed a to-go order by phone. The cook did a great job with the food! When picking up my food, the girl at the time didn’t seem really engaged with customers. She was having a conversation with the other gentlemen workers, which is fine, but she didn’t really have a positive, warm welcome or really acknowledge me. I’m used to seeing a different standard of customer service and urgency for customers’ time, that I just didn’t see. She seemed to just be slow paced and on her own time.

We love this place! Food is always prepared the same and tastes great. I love the staff. They are joking around with each other and make you feel part of the group. I wish I could eat here everyday.

The service in the beginning was good but not even two minutes of sitting down here comes the drama. I think drama is part of the job description! Not every Waffle House have to be so crazy! Then I for my steak I ask for steak sauce of course. The server so lazy she give me the whole bottle with a tiny bit of sauce int he bottle! You can't make this up! Haven't taste the food yet and I'm scared now! Won't be going back! First time and last time!

Michael, took good to take care everything was cooked just right. The layered hash brown had plenty of crispy on multiple layers. All of my food was just right. Karim provided good service as well. I was impressed with my experience tonight.

Second shift crew is an absolute vibe. Shea was our waitress and Michael was the cook. 10/10 service. Shea was getting compliment after compliment from other customers. Truly a kind and hard worker. Michael got a personal compliment from me as he cooked arguably the best eggs I’ve ever had. He truly appreciated the feedback and was hustling to serve many customers. Overall extremely impressed with this Waffle House and cannot wait to come back!

The food was tasty and the service was excellent. We got everything we ordered and in a reasonable amount of time. The food was nice and hot when it got to our table! :)

I have been sitting here for 15 minutes. Haven't gotten a drink or my order taken. When I first got here there were 2 employees. Three more have come in. There is no sense of urgency here. Lots of talking and nothing else going on. Half the lobby is blocked off. 3 total booth seats and 2 haven't been cleaned. The focus seems to be a to go order. Guess inside doesn't matter to this location. No one seems to have a full grasp of what their job is. 1 person is cooking, 1 person kinda taking orders, 2 people talking and the other is in the back. Will NEVER visit this location again. Truly a disappointment.

I saw the reviews and decided to try it. Upon entering, I saw an employee smoking outside (nasty). This employee was talking to a lady in her car. (I could not tell if this lady is an employee). She was using profanity. This is not what guests want to hear when entering a business. I was the only guest in the building. The one employee inside was eating... in the dinning room (perfect!). He never ate on the work line. Awesome! He took my order and washed his hands before cooking my food. I went to the restroom. The bathroom appeared to be clean, but had a couple of gnats flying around. Their hand dryer was not working. They were out of paper towels. My order was slightly wrong, but still good. This location needs some work, but it is not as bad as some I have seen.

They don’t even know the menu I was charged for toast. When I ask for the fiesta omlet it comes with either hasbrowns or grits and toast. I know I have to pay extra for cheese but not toast. The service was so slow and bad . And there was an insect in my food

I am glad to see this Waffle House recover from....well the pandemic. For awhile they were running on a skeleton crew of maybe one or two people. It was bad. We just did not feel like cooking and we chanced it. The food was great, staff was back to normal level, service was expedient and the restaurant was full at the time. Will definitely try it again. Wife got a cheese omelette with bacon and hash browns. I got scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns.
