Food was nice which is why I gave the two stars. Not sure if when I came my server was new or not, but I only saw him when he first greeted the table and to drop my check off; which took a while. Every other server picked up his slack. Noticed too that there were far too many servers on; especially for practicing safe social distance guidelines during these times. I did not get the vibe that any of them enjoyed being as over staffed as it looked.

Delicious brunch place and great service from our waitress, she even brought me a free birthday pancake! My new fave brunch place for sure!

This is one of the best breakfast/lunch places around! Make sure you are not in a hurry though. It stays pretty busy so plan accordingly. The atmosphere is comfortable and service has always been great. The food is so flavorful and fresh. I got the farmhouse breakfast hash or something like that. So good! Even the toast they give you is artisan. Good coffee with lots of creamer choices for all. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a great breakfast/lunch place and you are not in a hurry. Enjoy!

Always get amazing service and food!

While the food is decent, the majority of the staff is wayyyy too cool to be there and generally just irritated. Presumably because I am not a 30 year old good looking guy ordering only coffee and an egg. I have walked out once, and after this mornings latest (4th) attempt, will never go back. Go if you are young, tolerant and only want coffee. Asking for tea throws them into a tailspin! Be warned!

This has consistently been one of the best First Watch locations we’ve visited, whether that’s take out or dine in. Regardless of the number of visits, today, our meals, the Market Hash, and Crab Cake Benedict, were extraordinarily delicious. We were just about the first people in the restaurant, so our food came nicely plated and perfectly steamy. Honorable mention to our waitress Kara, she was very sweet, and a wonderful servant. Without a doubt we recommend this location, although we highly recommend taking a foodie excursion one morning when the traffic is low.

Terrible customer service. Called in reference to an order as was repeatedly told they were busy to state that my order was not of importance. Not helpful in assisting me in my concerns

I went to first watch with a couple friends the afternoon before a wedding. The host and staff were very accommodating and pleasant to be around. They did a good job explaining just the options on the menu. I ended up getting a turkey avocado bacon club with house potatoes along with a Morning Meditation to drink and a banana a granola almond pancake on the side with real maple syrup. The real maple syrup was truly authentic. It was a hearty meal and I felt very satisfied afterwards.

Another fantastic breakfast journey at First Watch, this time at the Weddington location. The wait time was short and and food and service is top shelf as expected. Not to mention, the best coffee in the USA. Yes, it’s that good!!

The ricotta lemon curd pancakes are really good! The BLT Benedict was okay, but I didn't love it. For me there was too much lemon in the hollandaise sauce. And the greens on top didn't quite work for me. The million dollar bacon was interesting, but I thought it was too sweet.

Eggs were off at this location but we love first watch and the food was overall decent. Same atmosphere at all locations. Same great service. Never had a bad server at any location.

Food was fantastic. Atmosphere not so good because we sat outside on the sidewalk, but we didn't have to wait. This is definitely a place to go but you'll probably have to wait.

I was down here on a business trip and I always like to check out brunch spots. Since this was walkable from my hotel I thought I’d check it out and I have zero regret. Nice place, clean, great food with an awesome seasonal menu. My server Danielle was spectacular! Warm, welcoming, great service. A top notch brunch spot!

I love First Watch and have been to several but first time to this one. The server was super nice and did not mind that we sat and talked way after our meal was done. There was no one else waiting for the table. The food was really good. I really never find anything to complain about with the food at First Watch. I will be back!!

I’m new to NC & had never been to a First Watch. The first 2 times I’ve been to this location were not so great, but third times the charm…AND IT WAS! Service was wonderful, food was so so so delish! Our server Danielle is a superstar!

First time at First Watch and or server Angie made everything welcoming and amazing. Visited with my niece and she was so kind and helpful with her specific order, making sure everything was done perfectly and enjoyable. I can't wait to go back and hope all the servers are as helpful and tentative!!!

I absolutely love this place. I opted for something different today, the Eggs Benedict Florentine. I usually get the Farmstand Breakfast Tacos. Both are equally amazing. First Watch never disappoints!!

I love First Watch and I love my server Danielle!!! Very personable and knowledgeable. Think farm to table here. Fresh delicious choices on the menu for healthy eaters along with many options for the carnivores that don't like kale or quinoa. Lol. So many choices!! This time, I ordered the Chicken Avocado Chop. The carnivore with me ordered the French Toast. Nice environment with a rustic farmhouse feel.

10/10 +10. My first time visiting was in Midtown Atlanta so I am familiar with the restaurant. I wanted some French toast and a salty balance so I stopped in for Brunch. I ordered the Floridian French toast, smoked ham, and seasoned potatoes. The holiday music kept me in the spirit since this was my first stop before holiday shopping. I will be back!

I really like First Watch. I've been to them many times over the last couple of years and they have good quality food at a reasonable price. However, I was at this location Saturday morning and was disappointed in the way they are handling the social distancing. Every table was seated and many times the customers were less than 3 feet from each other. I saw 3 employees remove their mask while at the kitchen station and many customers not wearing masks before they got their food. Very disappointed and will not return to this location until they can get the social distancing corrected. Customers need to be seated at every other booth.

After waiting for 30 mins last weekend only to have our Door Dash order cancelled, we figured we'd try something different today. Online FW offered a curbside order option - which is what I wanted. We came up to the store, waited outside for 20 mins and made two phone calls into the store. On the last one the young lady asked if I wanted to come in - NO, I don't. There are reasons I specifically requested the curbside service. So now, after waiting two weekends and several hours I have no food and no refund. Take your money elsewhere. I did. Flying Biscuit was happy to take it (and bring the food to my vehicle as requested). Don't offer services you have no ability to maintain if you're busy.

They were busy. The avocados should not have been plated. And the wrong order was delivered to my wife. Normally a great brunch. Wrote corporate with no answer. Just wanted to give feedback but I guess they didn't care. Our server was nice.

Beautiful restaurant in an up and coming part of Waverly plaza! Clean look and decor and not too busy around noon. Our server was Carolyn, who I must say was lovely, in her fabulous purple head wrap, came over quickly to greet us and take our order. After letting her know that I had received a birthday meal coupon she offered me very good advice and meal descriptions. I went with the Tri-fecta, and was allowed to swap for the lemon ricotta pancake and the million dollar bacon. Our food arrived in good timing, but my bacon was burnt. It took me quite a bit of time to flag someone down to alert of my overcooked bacon. Carolyn came over when she heard about it and quickly noticed my burnt bacon. She replaced it right away, and I was able to enjoy the rest of my meal. Everything about the rest of the experience was great. My friend enjoyed her omelette. The rest of the food was tasty and even the syrup was served warm, nice touch! Thanks Carolyn!

Pretty decent food. They struggle a bit with the online check in. We put our name online and it said 30 minutes. We showed up 20 minutes after putting our name in to check in and they told us 30-45 minutes. 🙄... Everyone seems to hustle to help each other out. Really wish they had bagels during breakfast though.

Food was great. Organic. Friendly to many diets. Just come bundled up. I was shivering by the time I was done eating.

I've been to a few different locations of First Watch Restaurants and I can tell you they NEVER DISAPPOINT! There will likely be a small wait time during lunch but you can get in and out fairly quickly (if your there on a lunch hour)! I've been there a lot during my lunch hour and never been late to return. They are very health conscious about our pandemic so no need to worry there. Food is incredible..AS ALWAYS!

*** Update *** Zero stars! I've emailed them twice at the address listed below and nobody bothered to respond!! Very unprofessional and rude. I waited over 30 minutes and was told my food would be brought out to my car... I went back into the restaurant after seeing my order just sitting there and noticed it was WRONG! They remade it but the bacon and potatoes were burnt/overcooked. There is no excuse for such poor customer service!

It was ok. The Million Dollar Bacon was amazing as was the Juice. However both was $5. I Wanted something different so I went with the Biscuits and gravy. I was disappointed. The Biscuits was over cooked and dry and the gravy is turkey based so absolutely no flavor. The eggs were also over cooked. It was very lack luster. I would go again if someone else paid. Server was sweet though. No issues there.

Normally, First Watch is awesome. Today I don’t know what was up. I have never had service this bad. We ordered over the phone and went to pick up. Two cars pulled up after us and got served first. We waited at least 15 minutes before we got our food and the coffees were only half full! For the money you pay, both the product and the service should be good. I haven’t eaten the food yet, but I was very upset with the service.

I never pass up a chance to come to First Watch, and they never disappoint.

I love this place but it's hidden in a corner of Waverly a little difficult to reach but we'll worth it when you do. The wife had the cinnamon chip pancakes and they were awesome! I had the carnitas burrito and it was soooo good. It's got so much going on with a slight spice. I really enjoyed this meal. We must get here more often.
