Tenoch in other locations is great. This location is poor, Especially the Hispanic lady with the purple shirt serving the food. Incredibly rude & disrespectful for no reason. I politely ask her if one of my deliveries was ready, she rolled her eyes and said “you see then obviously” with an hostile tone. I had to step in and called her out on this. Told her “wasn’t very polite and you don’t have to be rude” it also seems other customers from the reviews have a consistent problem with her. Please have a conversation with her to be nice and people spend their hard earning money on their place. Without customers no business! She needs to be check wanted to bring it to your attention. Small and cozy local restaurant for a variety of delicious Mexican foods. Flavors are authentic, sandwiches are made to order, flavors use real whole ingredients and sliced peppers. Although it can sometimes get a bit busy and orders may be a little hard to hear come through, just be patient and ask when you think you hear your order announced. I had the thick and juicy Torta Asada, which is one part hearty hoagie, one part burrito, 2 parts filly cheese steak. Love their selection of Jarritos drinks, too (my favorite is Tamarind). Prices are quite reasonable for the area, with almost all sandwiches on the main menu under $10

Seems like They are not capable, taking orders on phone then they shouldn’t! She had an attitude, asked us to driveback and return the wrong order ( I’m trash is my kids don’t eat onions) . After that attitude i am not even picking/eating food from there . Even the order she got right I couldn’t eat it . It was greasy and totillas was cold . 🤢

We came here on a Sunday night after our absolute favorite Taqueria was closed. We walked right in at about 630. It looked like it was a little chilly in there, but it was very inviting food wise. The staff was very nice, smiled attentively and let us place our order. It came up very quickly and we were sitting at a table by the window. The food was OK. I've actually had better tacos, but these were definitely a good second to our absolute favorite. The only thing I found? All of our tacos were room temperature or a little bit warmer at best. Nothing was hot hot. I like hot hot. But the flavor on each one was pretty good. I probably won't get the chicken won again. That was very basic. The carnitas and chiccharon ones were stellar. But we will definitely be back.

This is a great local Mexican eatery with a variety of options on the menu. You are very much allowed to customize your order and the staff is very patient and friendly. I would recommend this establishment to family and friends alike. One tip, I would recommend having them heat up your burrito a bit more than they usually would as it will be much more tasty!!

The best burritos ever, hands down. Worth every penny and every calorie. They are always filled with a generous portion of meat and veggies.

I ordered food on the phone for pick up and was caught off guard with how rude a woman was when I came to pick it up. I said hello and asked her how she was doing, she responded with an eye roll and stated what I owed. When she returned with the food,she dropped it on the counter and walked away, saying nothing. The food and atmosphere matched her attitude; horrible! Never again.

This place is fantastic. Loved everything I got. Best tacos I’ve had in a long time. Fast polite service. Highly recommend.

Thought this would be a good place for a quick bite before a show. BAD choice. I don't know how in hell this place has such good ratings. I got two fish tacos, they throw this mess onto the plate. The fish is massively over fried small piece of fish. My wife got the "steak" taco and when I looked it I thought the steak must be hiding under these ground up pellets that looked like deer droppings. I can eat almost anything and can easily enjoy a wide variety of quality, but never again would I ever eat at this place!

No one looked like they were happy to be there, and I ate a fish taco that I never ordered. The guy before me ordered the fish taco. Food looked good and had some flavor. Fairly cheap. Hope you have better luck! Got recommended to try the place out from a friend.

Al pastor and queso burrito wasnt that bad, and the fish tacos were pretty good too.

Terrible service. Person making the food was rude and is almost unable to understand in English what we were ordering (had to resort to sign language finally). The quesadilla looked like a burrito for some reason. Food taste was not good enough to justify the bad service.

Ordered over the phone. Picked up and went I got home realized several of the tacos were totally wrong (I asked for a steak taco with cheese only) . Called them and the person who picked up the phone was very rude and said I did not ask for steak and cheese only which I did and asked them to repeat back to me. I am ok with a mistake but don’t appreciate rudeness. I used to really enjoy going here but have noticed the service has gone down significantly. Time to find another taco joint!

Disgusting carne asada. Old, dry and crumbled meat. I would not serve that to my dogs, seriously. Beans were fairly dry as well. Interesting to see the other reviews about the attitude of workers. The guy behind the counter acted like he was doing me a favor putting my meal together. It was my 4th visit but also the last. Plenty of other restaurants to choose from who appreciate the business and their customers.

Good sandwiches. I haven't tried anything else. It's really a grab-and-go type atmosphere.

Amazing pescado torta packed to the gills (sorry for the pun) with deliciousness. The menu was extensive. I can't wait to try every single item. The staff were all very friendly, swift, and efficient. Perfect place to grab a quick bite and to leave full and satisfied.

Ordered enchiladas and paid extra for chips and salsa. Also requested to include utensils (option online). Food arrived without chips and salsa and utensils. Not the hugest deal, but lack of customer service is and the way I was treated is. Politely and clearly explained this, and was told “it’s not our problem, talk to GrubHub.” After explaining that it was actually their problem because the order is clearly in writing and that they saw the order in writing, (receipt stapled to bag) and the order did not contain all components, they said that they “weren’t willing to do anything” and “mistakes happen” (even though customers apparently pay for their mistakes). Then, I was hung up on. TERRIBLE customer service, no acknowledgement of responsibility, and will not be ordering again from them.

Cannot go wrong. Their asada con queso burrito is awesome. They melt the cheese in the grill with the steak, and it is amazing

I ordered a burrito with extra steak and I got a burrito with very little steak. In fact half of the burrito did NOT have any steak. The rice was hard and tasteless. Honestly I’ve never had a good meal at tenoch in Medford and Melrose after three attempts. I will NEVER order from Tenoch again. It’s terrible! Go to Anna’s.

Used to be one of my favorites, but a recent visit was resoundingly mediocre. None of the bold flavor I remember from the Torta's with far less meat and lower quality produce. Very disappointed.

Food was great, very busy little spot with good customer service. They messed up on one of my taco orders and instead of tossing it they told me what it was and let me have it. I absolutely hate it when restaurants throw away food. The serve heaping portions, the fish taco contained almost a whole filet. The carnitas and carne asada had so much you could probably make a second taco out of each. My wife asked for a side of guacamole the heaping serving was enough to add onto my 5 tacos. Definitely worth checking out.

Second time they have screwed up my takeout order. Just not including everything, which you find out later and then have no way to get in touch with them as they don't pickup the phone. I wish they could clean up their act, the food is great but getting an order screwed up multiple times means they are barely paying attention.
