    My husband and I have been working with personal trainer Dan at Fit in New England 2x/week since Oct 2020 and it has been amazing. Highly recommend to anyone. Personal Trainer Dan knows his stuff and will help you ease into (or back into) working out in a structured and healthy way. He is very good at anticipating/reading what you can do & when you can do just a little bit more, but not pushing you to the point that is actually beyond your limits. He is personable and fun to work with, and he pays very close attention to form, which I love, so that I can be sure I am completing the exercise in a safe and correct way. The location/fitness space at FINE is excellent - basically two "sides" to the gym so that two different personal training sessions can go on at once without interfering with each other. The space is clean, bright, comfortable, and they have all the equipment that we have ever needed for our sessions. I haven't worked with the other personal trainers, but everyone is friendly & welcoming, so it is really enjoyable to be there and we always look forward to going. About our background, for context: My husband and I are (once upon a time) former division 3 athletes but are now in our 30's with a toddler so weren't at the top of our athletic game when we started. When I started, I was the weakest/most out of shape I had been in my life. Since working with Dan, I am the strongest I have ever been in my life (even stronger than I was as a college athlete) (I'm 5'11, 150# and now deadlifting 200#, thanks Dan!). For me, having the regular structure of personal training sessions has really helped me stick to a routine and progress in my strength and fitness. My husband has also progressed significantly and is approaching maximum strength (compared to college athlete days) and loves that we have regularly scheduled sessions, so that they don't get out-prioritized by other things.

    I began training at Fit in New England in May 2021 and the entire team is great. Dan in particular does an exceptional job at not only providing a lot of variety to each session, but taking time to explain and offer up guidance along the way. I would highly recommend Fit in New England to anyone who is looking for 1:1 personal training.

    I can't say enough about the team at Fit in New England. The trainers are knowledgeable, professionally certified and fun! Colin is a great trainer, always listening to what I am trying to accomplish and outlining workouts that will help me get there. He focuses on form and constant improvement. He even sat down and helped me outline a training plan for an upcoming marathon. The facility and equipment are brand new and it seems there is something new to try almost every week. The shower and changing area make it very convenient. A great place to work out and stay motivated!

    I began strength training at FINE in November 2022. I currently feel stronger and less prone to injury than ever. Coach Matt has been amazing along the way, emphasizing proper form and providing education and encouragement at each step. I am now much more confident in my ability to lift on my own. The facility is clean, all of the coaches are friendly, and the atmosphere is supportive and motivating. Highly recommend!

    I started training at FINE in June 2021 to get stronger before my wedding and have been doing personal training 1x/week for 6 months so far. I'm really happy with the personal training and the results. Dan has been great to work with - he has completely customized workouts for me every week. He has helped me to focus on form, both in terms of my strength training exercises but also in performing the right stretches. I've definitely gotten stronger and more toned since starting. The studio is very convenient and clean. Would definitely recommend for personal training.

    Thankful to have this quality outfit in such a central location. The whole staff, and in particular my trainer Gordon, have been fantastic communicators both during practice sessions and to coordinate scheduling. I've learned a ton and gotten myself on a workout regimen that I enjoy with the help of FINE, I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

    I began training with Dan in January 2021 and cannot say enough positive things about him and the instructors at FINE. No matter what fitness level you are at, Dan will curate a plan to fit your needs and does pay attention to your form and technique. All in all, I would highly recommend this well-kept facility with amazing instructors!

    I;ve been doing personal training at F.I.N.E. since August 2021 and it's been wonderful. My trainer is great to work with and knowledgeable, and makes modifications when needed. It's great to get the 1:1 attention and to be able to see results through their inbody scanner. They also have raffle prizes based on metrics which is a great incentive to get leaner. Overall a great place to train !

    A friend of mine encouraged me to try out the classes here and I’m so glad I did. I was used to taking classes like kickboxing and yoga so I was a bit nervous to introduce weights and new exercises into my routine. I realized within my first 5 minutes of being there that there was nothing to be nervous about. The instructors, Mike and Brad, are awesome! They push everyone to their full potential. I always feel accomplished after the workout. The community here is also wonderful. The fellow students are super friendly and make the experience here even better. The gym is also super clean and has a lot of great equipment. If you are looking to try something new and want to work with knowledgeable trainers, I recommend you check this place out.

    I have been working out with Colin for over 6 years now. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and it is apparent how much he enjoys his work. No matter what your fitness level is, no matter what your age is, Colin will put together a customized program each time you work out with him. He is very personable and has a very good sense of humor - which can be helpful when you are working hard during each session! He will motivate you every time and help you get through your workout. I highly recommend Colin and Fit in New England.

    Exceptional trainers and an excellent facility. You will not regret joining this amazing local business! Update: 3 years later and still working with Colin. Everything about this studio is great. The atmosphere, the knowledge of the trainers. While all my friends who train have suffered multiple injuries over the past few years, I have yet to have one even while pushing my limits. I can't say I will never have one in the future, but Colin's focus of form is big reason why I have been able to go this long with no issues. Invest in your health and long-term fitness. Do your 75 year-old self a favor. This is the place to be!

    Of all of the fitness programs I have tried, signing up with FINE has been the only program I've stuck with. Every time I go for a session, I always leave feeling great and energized for the day. I opted for the personal trainer sessions because I decided that the only way I would stick with a fitness program was if I had someone else running it for me. And that has totally worked! I have also been really surprised at how much I've learned just in general about the body and movement. Until I started at FINE, I never really gave much thought to that sort of thing, but it's super useful information! If you're looking for a place where you can work out, get individual programs, see results, and feel welcome when you go....Fit In New England is it.

    You know you found the right place when you actually enjoy going! We joined back in December 2022 and this is the longest I’ve stuck with a fitness program! Everyone at FINE is so helpful, supportive and are just great people you enjoy seeing regularly. I’ve been training with coach Matt twice a week from the beginning and I’ve learned so much and feel stronger and more confident than I ever have! Learning proper form and lifting weights is actually really fun 😊 Matt is so knowledgeable and has been a great sounding board (and I ask A LOT of questions haha) talking through food choices and eating habits and also super supportive through my rough respiratory illness and small surgery when I was really frustrated, adjustments were made when needed and just kept going in a safe way which I appreciate so much!

    This is a great gym/training facility. I have been working with coach Matt since April 2023. The facility is neat and clean. I have not done the group classes, just 1:1 personal training (2 sessions/week). Matt is outstanding and I would highly recommend both him and FINE. Parking actually isn't that bad. There are two municipal lots nearby and street parking isn't impossible (metered, but can pay with an app). It's also right across the street from a T bus stop.

    I’ve never felt safer, more comfortable, and motivated when exercising with a gym before. the trainers are delightful and energetic, a really great community that has open arms to the less than athletic (like myself). It’s been a privilege to work out with them. Thank you!
