A nature created marvelous waterfall near by the botanical garden of Awissawella area. There are 2 waterfalls running down one after another in a same Place. Visitors can reach the place using the narrow way just beyond the Seethawaka Botanical Garden. About 500 meters from the main road but sharp hilly road. No parking space for large vehicles so better to walk. Villegers are ready to protect their valuable heritage so you must be careful to make sure not to spoil the area with your garbage or disposals. Please help them to protect their surroundings.

If you visit seethawaka botanical garden, donΒ΄t forget to visit this place. 1km-1.5km from the garden. Driving to the place is difficult little bit. Don't recommend for bathing if you have drunk. Bath with care.please be kind enough to maintain natural beauty

It's a very beautiful and calm placeπŸ₯ΉπŸ˜βœ¨ that is the true nature of Seethawaka in Sri LankaπŸ‡±πŸ‡°πŸ˜ when you go there, there are several villagers near the waterfall. They charge for parking when you park at their place✨ but don't worry it's not much as I think only 50 rupees for one vehicle. When you go there the most suitable vehicle is a bike, Tuk, or off-road vehicle😍 cause you have to climb little mountains to go there.πŸ₯ΉπŸ˜ please don't forget to bring back polythenes and plastics when you leave from waterfallπŸ«ΆπŸ˜πŸ‡±πŸ‡°πŸ₯Ή

This is a beautiful waterfall located near to Seethawaka botanical gardens. Those who come to see the gardens can easily visit this waterfall as well. It is about 700m away from the garden entrance. The access road needs to be improved. It is narrow and muddy. There's no designated place to park vehicles, but the nearby house owners provide their own land space to park the vehicle for a reasonable amount. And they are very helpful also. Water stream can be seen as soon as you enter from a stairway. But to get the real view, you need to cross the stream and walk a little towards forest and come around again through the trails.

Nestled just 500m from Sithawaka Garden, this hidden gem offers a secluded retreat. Perfect for families, it provides a safe environment for children. While lacking an official parking area, nearby houses welcome your vehicles. Adjacent to a tranquil rubber estate, the cool waters enhance the overall experience. Ideal for a peaceful escape, weekdays ensure a crowd-free visit, allowing you to savor the serenity of this lesser-known spot without any rush.

Good place with natural pool to bath. Somewhat safe for kids. There are more rocks with slippery surfaces. Need to be extra care if you bring kids there. Villagers also use same water source. So don't disturb them. There is another place just below this location, with the waterfall. Also good place to have fun.

The place was beautiful and really calm. But I must say some villagers are really rude and the way they use their words are soo bad. They dont even know how to talk to the children and they act like the river is their own private property. For us, the visit there was such a bad experience πŸ˜‘ Never recommend this place to anyone to have a bath.
