Its administration was passed onto a self-governing body called the Sindhu Resettlement Corporation Ltd (SRC). The person credited with the formation of this settlement was Bhai Pratap Dialdas, who requested land from Mahatma Gandhi for the (mostly Sindhi) immigrants from Sindh. The Maharaja of Kutch, Vijayaravji donated approx 15,000 acres of land. Adipur and Gandhidham, which was built on this land. Adipur is famous for GANDHI SAMADHI.

It's a great place to hangout without spending a dime penny. The atmosphere over there is quite good and very calm so you can spend a lot of quality time without having any interruptions. The best part is when you go over there in the evening.

Also have temple near so can visit that also. For local and nearby people: Some food stalls are also there so if you want a small outing with family can be a place to visit. For visitors: Should visit once if you are there. I was a visitor and my experience was good.

Most peaceful and clean place to visit in Delhi. As well as this samadhi after all is of father of nation so we should go to pay homage to our Baapu.

The samadhi is closed for renovation and apparently has been closed for about a month now.

Historical place of National importance. Well Maintained by Sindhu resettlement corp. But it's used only as a park for morning/evening walk for residents. No awareness among tourists and also visiting time does not suitable for tourists/ visitors to pay Tributes to great soul. District Administration should develop it at par with Rajghat, New Delhi as some ashes in the Urn of Mahatma Gandhi ji were kept here also.

A Good place for walk and spend time with family area se not soo big but dissent enough for spending time. You can spend a good time with your children and family members. Good enough space for children's. On daily basis many family member come to soend time and walk. There is no washroom and drinking water facility.
