From the moment I walked in I felt relaxed and welcomed at Essential Health and Wellness. They offer so many services and Kate has such a kind and healing heart! The atmosphere is great and Kate gave me the type of massage that I asked for. Not too light and not too much pressure. Highly recommend EH&W!

I love the energy of this space! I could spend all day cozied up and chatting with the other therapists and clients as they come through. And honestly, as a plus-size woman, my body AS IS isn't welcome at most "wellness" establishments. But here feels like home. At first, I wasn't comfortable undressing as you do for a typical massage. I love that with the Thai yoga massage I keep my clothes on and get to spread out on a big mat. Recently, I triggered massive inflammation in my lower back during a prolonged kayaking trip. I feel like Kate's hands are literally what's held me together these last almost two months now. Her intuition is truly accurate!

I feel so very fortunate to have had Kate come into my life. Every visit I have had with her has been the biggest hug of wellness, and I feel so nurtured and cared for in a way I have NEVER experienced in a conventional doctor's office. I feel like I finally have all the pieces to fully address what my body needs and wants. As I walked out today, the thought occurred to me 'I think I've found my second home' because I feel that safe to really focus on my healing ❤️

Kate the owner was VERY rude! She hung up the phone on me and was very unprofessional all because I CALLED to cancel my appointment and she stated I’ve been a problem! How am I a problem and I have NOT conducted business with u?! Calling to cancel an appointment is a form of communication not a problem! She needs to go back to business school bc CLEARLY she doesn’t know how that part works!! Funny thing is I NEVER no called no showed u tried to make it seem like I was a problem and CALLED EVERYTIME to reschedule! U started the whole argument. Very unprofessional to hang up the phone on someone not good customer service! We can do this ALL day!

Amazing!! As a small business owner I really appreciate how simple booking is, and how thought out my experience is! Kate really works magic for me with the colonics! I’ve tried quiet a few different providers and she is by far my favorite. She helps me completely relax for my service and keeps it a very zen, relaxing experience the whole time! Her technique is unmatched, I recommend her to everyone I know having digestive issues!

I’ve suffered for years from chronic back pain & other conditions doctors/ other massage therapists haven't been able to help with. Even the most superficial massage would further inflame the chronically sore muscles in my back for days. Kate’s approach is gentle but very effective. With the red light therapy before/ after a massage there’s no pain during and I always feel great the entire day after. Besides massage I get specially made castor oil packs & receive cuppings. The office is in a basement but the level of care is so much higher than the fancy chain places. Have been a client over 6 months now, thanks so much for being an awesome health resource Kate!
