They have a donkey who stays alone all the time in a small meadow! An equine is a gregarious animal, they live in herds and need to interact with each other! Leaving him alone in a small space is torture!

We stayed here during our GR12 hike. We received a friendly welcome and enjoyed the peace, the beautiful garden, the animals and the delicious breakfast! Bart and Hilde pampered us and we can only recommend this place!

Superb B&B a stone's throw from Brussels. Magnificent garden, our dog enjoyed it too (Thanks for the cuttings, I planted them today!) All the necessary comfort. Very good breakfast. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

What a great place and fantastic service from the host! Together with my sister I enjoyed the beautiful room, the beautiful view of the garden, the peace, the comfort and not to forget: a delicious extensive breakfast! We are still enjoying it and will continue to do so for a while. The hostess gave us a nice route through Brussels. In this way we were able to discover the beautiful places of Brussels. In short: a stay at B&B den Biesthoek is highly recommended!

We stayed one night in this b&b during our multi-day walk of the GR Groene Gordel region. No effort was too much for them to pamper us. In short: a very hospitable stay! Room, garden and breakfast also in tip top condition! Recommended!

This beautiful B&B is highly recommended. Close to Brussels, but with the peace and conviviality of a cozy village. Reception was fantastic, rarely experienced service so good. The host and hostess are very accessible and happy to contribute ideas to the activities on the program. The breakfast is of very high quality, very varied and incredibly tasty. Together with my boyfriend we had a great one night stay at this b&b as we were attending a wedding in the village. The b&b was only a 10 minute walk away from the location, which was ideal for us. Hilde and Bart were flexible and let us check in early due to the starting time of the wedding, which we highly appreciated. When we arrived Hilde greeted us and showed us around the room. The room and bathroom were both modern and had everything we needed. The room also come with a deck to sit outside and overlook their beautiful garden. They had a large selection of options for breakfast and it was all very well prepared and tasty. If we ever find ourselves in need of a place to stay in the area we will definetly come back!
