Had meals yesterday, taste is not good. They gave carrot poriyal, brinjal koottu, spinach, sambar (taste is bad), vatha kulambu (good), rasam, curd. Rice was not good.

Ordered Vegetable Briyani for Rs.65 and Parota set for Rs.65 here. Both are good. Briyani quantity is worth for the price. Service is excellent here. Highly recommended hotel.

Poor rooms, We have reserved the rooms and they told you have not booked and they given other rooms. It was very poor and upside some constr work was going in the night time.in the first floor itself lot of cigarettes smell. Family people better AVOID this STAY FOR SURE.

Their meals and sambhar vadai is the best in the town. Price of meals is also affordable for the quality. Customer service was not so good. Not clean also.

Visit as early as possible and not more than 9.30am you'll get a free kesari on all breakfast items, whatever it might be idly dosa pongal or poori. Kesari is the best thing that can happen in Uma shankar classic. I wish i had taken more pictures of the breakfast that's been served 😊

Vegetarian restaurant just opposite to Tirunelveli new bus stand (next to Sri Ram Hotel). I ordered for Idli + Vada, Poori, Coffee here. Idli was served with 3 chutneys (Mint, Tomato, Coconut) and Sambar. Taste of chutneys we're good, sambar was bit salty and the Idli were not served hot. And I liked the Poori. Cost was moderate. It costed me around Rs.110. worth for money. And the hotel ambience was good and looked neat.

Though a vegetarian restaurant the food here is mild in favour. So not a good option for all my veggie friends who loves spicy dishes. I won't recommend this place for dinners and lunches. But the breakfast menus are good. They have an Aryaas sweets outlet in the entrance, the sweets there are awesome. The place is convinent for access for interstate travels get off at puthu bus stand.

One of the decent and affordable pure veg restaurant in Tirunelveli. And also situated near to new bus stand. Dishes are nice and especially in the night Aapam with coconut milk is a good combo to have. Also try mushroom parotta.
