Beechworth pie, 6/10: Too mushy and saucy inside without any texture or salt. Nothing special in my opinion. They provide salt, pepper, and ketchup which enhances the taste a lot so do use it. Mushroom and steak pie, 8/10: So much better than the other one. Texture from the mushroom was good and adds flavor to the bland filling. Long black, 5/10: Diner coffee. You won’t like it as it is overly roasted and taste of bitterness but it is conventional and does the job. The place was clean and well maintained. Waitresses were friendly.

Stopped of for a quick snack and settled for a Potato Pie. Being a public holiday, this set me back $9 without sauce. This business has lovely indoor and balcony eating areas but I chose their garden seating near the creek. The pie was watery and greasy with no seasoning to speak off leaving it very bland indeed. Staff are friendly and there are lots of roaming bin chickens around the grounds. Disappointed 😞.

Great selection of cakes and pastries. Friendly staff. Good amount of seating. The place does get busy! The beesting is a must! I love all their pies 😋 There is also a nice green area in the back, very scenic! The coffee is great as well. Get here early and enjoy!

Great afternoon tea. The vanilla slice and the German donut great. Beesting was good too but I preferred the German donut more. The famous Ned Kelly pie didn’t disappoint. Overall a tasty experience.

What a magical Country Chicken pie I had. Being in Australia means you have to have a good ol’ pie and Beechworth Bakery gave exactly what I needed. Tried a Lammington which is not at all what I expected, but was good nonetheless. Overall, lovely place. 10/10 would recommend.

Beechworth Bakery Healesville is an old-established Australian bakery that has been around for many years, specializing in traditional Australian sweets and meat pies. Their standout item is the vanilla slice—delicious yet not too heavy. The Sri Lankan beef pie is a bit spicy, so if you can't handle spicy food, it might be best to avoid it. After enjoying their food, you can take a stroll around the nearby town, making it a nice choice for an outing.

Never disappoints. Heaps of seating area especially at the back with the stream flowing. The staff are trained very well and are extremely professional. Each one of them are busy. They get busy at 8.30 am onwards as the crowds come here before heading to the sanctuary. Strong coffee, fresh bread and delicious food. A must.

One of the better pies I’ve had in Australia. Didn’t lack sauce or flavour as I find sometimes pies can be very dry, however not at Beechworth, they ensured that it is packed with everything that makes a good pie. The only thing I can fault is the egg is a bit rubbery in the Ned Kelly. We also had the German donut and it was the right amount of sweet, something we highly recommended with a coffee.

On our way to Lake Mountain, we made a pit stop at Beechworth Bakery Healesville for a much-needed breakfast, and what a fantastic choice it turned out to be! The array of freshly baked bread options was simply irresistible. We savored each bite as the flavors danced on our palates. The bread was not only fresh but also delicious, a testament to the bakery's commitment to quality. Beechworth Bakery Healesville impressed us with its extensive selection of delectable food and drink options. From savory treats to mouthwatering pastries, there was something to satisfy every craving. The bakery truly catered to diverse tastes, making it a perfect stop for any hungry traveler. The sitting arrangement was both comfortable and clean, providing a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy our meal. We were pleased to find ample seating options both inside and at the back of the bakery. The rear area boasted an inviting grassy lawn where children could frolic and play, while a well-maintained space offered the perfect spot to bask in the sun and relish our food. While the overall experience was delightful, we encountered a minor issue with the restroom facilities. The light inside the toilets was not working, which resulted in a darker ambiance. Nevertheless, we understand that occasional maintenance hiccups can occur and it didn't overshadow our positive impression of the bakery. In summary, Beechworth Bakery Healesville provided us with a wonderful break on our journey. The fresh and delicious offerings, coupled with the pleasant ambiance and ample seating arrangements, made it a memorable stop. We highly recommend this bakery to anyone seeking a delightful food experience.

Been to the original Beechworth bakery in Beechworth. Saw this on way to Marysville. Had to stop and grab a bite. Pretty busy on a Sunday morning. Ambience is great. Nice to sit down and have brekkie and coffee. Pie is really nice. Lots of choices for pastries. Managed to get 2 low gluten pasties - brownie and almond orange cake. Would be great if there are more choices. Didn’t try coffee this time but definitely would next time passing by one. Happy to know there’s a few in Melbourne.

Awesome pies, I just loved them! Superb choices and great atmosphere. The best part was that you don't have to wait at all, even during peak season. I was eating my pie within 10 minutes after reaching the restaurant. We ordered- 1. Ned Kelly (Good flavours of egg, meat, cheese, and bacon) 2. Steak & Black Pepper (Must try if you want to spice things up 😉) 3. Country Chicken (Simply delicious). 4. Jumbo sausage roll (Super Flaky with good portion of meat). 5. Bee sting (Must Try) 5. Mocha and Hot chocolate (Was ok)

Great options for breakfast. Spacious indoor and outdoor (front and back) seating areas. It’s a great stop on the way to Marysville. Toilets available at the back (could use some ventilation). Nice little creek passing by behind the cafe.

All good here. Great venue and service. But tea is tea bags ( a good selection though) and you make yourself. No marmalade for toast the day I was there.
