Nice park in the heart of Normanton. It has tree-lined paths and large grass fields. You get a nice mix of young and old using the facilities. There are football/tennis courts, cricket nets, and a play area for children as well as an outdoor exercise area with various equipment. There is ample parking next to the park. The park could however do with some maintenance as some of the original park buildings require repair and renovation. Groups of youngsters have made this area a hang out and there is a considerable amount of litter on the paths.

Nice park all too frequently spoilt by families who picnic in the warm weather and then think nothing of getting up and leaving LOADS of litter. When will the local population realise it isn't someone else's job to pick up their mess. They effectively train the next generation to also disrespect their own environment. Other than this the park has nice facilities for its size. Heavily used by local people for exercise. Even organised events leave the park in a right state.

It's more or less summertime so everyone is out and enjoying life. A bit of sports here e.g cricket, football, volleyball or even fetch with the dog haha. Good place to chill overall and have picnics.

Great place to run - progress markers are useful on the outer 1km loop. Playground, cricket facilities, basket ball, a bit of tarmac and plenty of green space.

It's a good place to run laps because there are distance markings on the path. Great place for football and such games- the wide expanse of grass is nice. Plus there are tennis courts too.

Great place for exercise and walk. It is big enough to have a good walk or run. The grass is beautifully cut and lush green. The exercise machines out door needs a bit of improvement as they are not up to the mark. I would recomend the park overall for walk or run and kids play area is good also.
