There aee plenty of plaves to put a picnic blanket though, but beware that the ground around the lake can be a little boggy after rain. 👍👍 Huge park with lots to do for the kids of different ages. Lots of space to run around, walk the dog see a bit of nature. There is a skate park for BMX and scooters. Beautiful is summer and the Jamaican carnival is held there. Close to amenities like Sainsbury's, McDonald's and KFC 😊

👍👍 Great park for kids and grownups alike. Swings climbing structures and skateboard area too. Ice cream truck visits too which is a bonus !

😐 There's not much here other than a nice walk between Spondon and Ockbrook. A bit of a trim trail for the kids and a carpark for the boy racers to rev engines and wheelspin. I like it though.

😐 Use to a good place to walk the dog, till they started building houses on the surrounding fields. Mickleover is now losing its village charm. Not even our council giving planning permissions to build, its South Derbyshire and Amber Valley building on their borders so it doesn't effect their schools...

👍 I'm just a 5 min walk away but if anyone wanted to drive here, there's literally nowhere to park. Can't exactly park your car on Oakland's Avenue. And it is very small, unless you want to walk in a circle, there's only so far you can go until you end up at Moorway Lane. That being said, the views ar...
