14/9/23 My hair has been cut really unevenly with short pieces instead of all even length as I requested. When I queried the hairdresser he said “those pieces must be short because of layers you had previously”. Which doesn’t even make sense as these pieces are shorter than my cut hair let alone the longer hair I came in with. Refunds apparently can only be done by head office..whose phone number you’re not allowed to have. After some googling I found it though (07) 5606 6814 - just in case someone has the same issue. 15/9/23 Update. "In good faith, we are happy to issue a refund once the review has been removed." So if you wonder why you don't see many negative reviews maybe it's because they will only refund you if you remove your review... 20/09/23 Update. I have received a refund. Although a request was made from the Oscar and Oscar head office to remove my review in return for the refund, I will not be doing that. The review is factual and honest and deserves to remain to warn others not to attend this salon.

I'm new to the area, sadly not a good experience for me. The senior stylist has a terrible attitude and I did not feel welcome. I thought a hairdresser was meant to build a rapport with clients. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be.

One of the best hair salon appointments I have ever had. From the moment I walked in the salon and was welcomed by Will and then looked after by Felicity. My hair is feeling great and looks amazing and could not recommend Oscar Oscar Camberwell high enough.

I’ve been trusting my locks with Oscar Oscar Doncaster as it’s local and I don’t have to travel too far. On average I used to spend approximately $80 to $150 on a cut and treatment every 8 weeks and around the $400 - $500 mark if I was getting a colour treatment done. After over a decade of colouring my hair, I decided to give my tresses a break and go back to my natural colour. Adele has been looking after me this year and when I heard that she was recently promoted to Style Director, I couldn’t be happier. She is worth every penny and more. Her attention to detail is fantastic, her shoulder and scalp massage is divine as is her hand massage during a hair treatment. I feel like she really cares and takes the time to listen to what you want. Whenever I am feeling a little indecisive, Adele helps tailor my hair plan with her transparency in the initial consultation and takes it to the next level upon commencement of treatment. The way she finishes the experience with a blow-dry and sometimes adds waves in there allows me to leave the salon feeling like a million bucks even if I’m in my tracky dacks. You definitely get what you pay for :D Thanks Oscar Oscar, you have found a true gem. Highly recommend this awesome salon!

I had the lovely Nikki B do my hair and she did such an amazing job. From the second I entered the salon all the staff were super friendly and warm. Nikki was professional and listened to exactly what I was after. She absolutely nailed it. Will absolutely be going back and cannot recommend the salon and Nikki more highly!!

Been going to Sarah for over 10yrs now and have watched her turn the place into what it is today. Sarah is an amazing hairdresser and her staff and all very attentive and lovely. Was more than happy to travel the extra distance when they moved to Camberwell :) The new salon is amazing too!

This was my first visit to Oscar Oscar in Camberwell and what an incredible experience it was. Beautiful salon, wonderful welcoming and talented staff, delicious coffee, amazing welcome neck and shoulder massage, relaxing head massage when hair is being washed, fabulous haircut and blowdry. Thankyou so much Felicity you are awesome. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this salon, you won't be disappointed.

I unfortunately left the salon feeling self conscious and upset - over $500 on a full head of foils to touch up my regrowth and my roots were still significant. The below photos were taken within an hour of leaving the salon. This was my first appointment at Oscar & Oscar, I’ve been getting foils for years and have never had any problems. I did go back (the staff were kind and sympathetic) but unfortunately they were unable to fix the situation as the mid lengths were over processed and I was advised they were likely to break if more bleach was added to cover the roots. I was offered a bottle of olaplex as compensation which was appreciated I suppose.
