👍 I'm just a 5 min walk away but if anyone wanted to drive here, there's literally nowhere to park. Can't exactly park your car on Oakland's Avenue. And it is very small, unless you want to walk in a circle, there's only so far you can go until you end up at Moorway Lane. That being said, the views ar... People often mention walk,

    I walk the dog there some many years the new paths wasn't use to be there and everything has changed and I used to walk to school that way aswell because my school is derby moor and so thats my walk home and go to school.

    Good place to walk. Great for dogs as open areas for them to run wild as long as owners clean up after them. Good for all ages and fitness, running, walking, kids on bikes and pushchairs. Small pond with observation platform.

    Great for a walk with the family. Has half dozen benches to sit on and enjoy the view. Generally very quiet and pleasant

    Beautiful walk around the Millennium Wood. I officially opened it when I was the Millennium Mayor of Derby. Lovely surroundings with map as you enter giving full details. A delight 😊
