Probably one of the best Beef Wellington I've had in Melbourne. The Beef Wellington is amazing! Outstanding services combined with quality food and beautiful views, nothing can make your lunch perfect more than that. I had a great time and highly recommend everyone to visit.

Overcooked steak, drowned in sauce, and bathrooms need better cleaning attention. The location and ambience are excellent, but this restaurant needs better management. Maybe the tourists and drop-in visitors will come anyway, but in a competitive restaurant scene in Melbourne, you need to lift your game to cover at least the basics.

The Beef Wellington is a standout—a masterpiece of tender beef, flaky pastry, and a flavorful sauce. The menu boasts a delightful variety, from fresh oysters to crispy and succulent chicken wings, and exquisite duck and pork ribs. The cocktails are a sensory delight, a perfect match for the exceptional food. Breslin exceeded my expectations, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit. For those seeking fine dining and exceptional service, Breslin is a must-visit.

Cocktails were great. Sadly for us, the 140 day aged steaks were lacking in flavour and overall not what you would expect for the price. It's sad because this place did deliver on quality for the price a few years ago. Sides of chargrilled carrots were amazing ! Service was top notch, and ambiance/location is great.

Good food, nice service and a great atmosphere. We went there to try their Beef Wellington. Was cooked to perfection, although be mindful that you probably need to wait 20-30mins for it. Steak tartare was a bit disappointing and some of the cocktails on the menu were not being served. Other than that, everything was good.

We had a very nice night here, the Wellington steak was very tasteful and good, rich and well paired with a great bbq sauce, we also enjoyed the service here they patiently guide us through menu and makes recommendation, and to our surprise the view was very good, while enjoying the food we were enjoying the view near the yara river.

Well prepared, well presented, well cooked and high quality. Had the sticky pork belly, Wagyu beef sliders, signature beef Wellington, Yellow Fin Tuna Sashimi and ribs. Sticky pork belly, beef sliders and ribs were full of amazing however, I’ve had ribs that were just as good for a lot cheaper. The beef Wellington and Yellow fin were decent but nothing exciting. For the price you pay, we personally don’t think it’s worth it.

Very good food, great service, attentive, helpful & prompt. Good ambience, nice decor, nice tables and comfortable seats. The lunch set consists one appetizer, one entree & choice of a drink. Ordered 4 set lunches with 4 different appetizers:- Broccoli 10/10 - nice sauce Sashimi tuna 10/10 - garnished with salmon flakes Fried calamari 9.9/10 - nice sauce 👍🏼 Tasmanian fresh oysters with miso like soya sauce 10/10 The pork ribs was tasty, barbecue sauce not too salty or overly sweet. Awesome chips (potato fries), red cabbage based salad 9.8/10. The 3 porter house steaks were a little over done. The 2 medium ones were like medium well. And the 1 medium well was like well done. Nevertheless, it was still good. Overal good. Ooh the cut sautéed potatoes was really nice! Tasted awesome 10/10 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Same salad base like the Pork Ribs but lacks the zesty punch like the one that came with the pork ribs. The presentation for all 4 appetizers & 4 entrées were excellent a solid 10/10.

Good presentation and service. The meat platter is good for 4 people. The meat is very well cooked and soft, but the mest itself was very bland. All the flavour was in the sauce. Also too much char for my liking giving it a burned taste. Chips are good.

This restaurant is amazing. We had the 3 entrees for 45. Pork Belly with Thai salad amazing. Roasted cauliflower was a hit. Sliders tasted like mini burgers of course. Cute. However the Lamb Shoulder Madras without fetta was top notch. The chicken and mashed potatoe is what expected. I look forward of coming back and trying the steak and ribs. Great service.

Had an amazing experience. Loved the cold weather with the outdoor seating. What a feeling it was. Pork spare ribs topped it off in style. Would definitely come back for more.

Very friendly & welcoming staff, the meals were full of flavour and very enjoyable my only disappointment was that the meals didn’t come out together they were nearly 10 minutes apart.🙁

Love this riverside restaurant, the vibes, the food and the service were all great! On the day we had: - yellow fin tuna sashimi - Breslin’s signature beef wellington - pork ribs - chocolate delice - coconut mousse - espresso martini - old fashioned cocktail The Breslin’s signature was definitely one of the nicest beef wellington I’ve tasted for sure! The ribs were tender as well. Highly recommended this riverside restaurant to everyone!

The staff are friendly, efficient, and have a good knowledge of the menu, and offer helpful suggestions. Drinks and food orders were taken promptly, and all came out quickly. Good cocktails and an extensive wine list. Oysters were very fresh and lovely with the yuzu granita. The entrees - sashimi, wagyu beef tartare, and baked scallops - were the standout dishes of the night and beautifully presented. The porterhouse steaks were the only letdown as neither of them were cooked to order. The bleu steak (see photo) especially was closer to medium-medium rare. It was still delicious and a quality piece of meat, just disappointed it wasn't as requested. It was brought to the manager's attention, and he offered to comp a dessert, but it would have been a better gesture to have had the steak price reduced. The sides of twice cooked chips and chargrilled broccolini were very nice. Overall, it was a great meal, but given that 'Grill' is in their name and for the price of the meat, their steaks should be cooked to perfection.

Walked in without a booking despite it being a very busy Saturday night. We got a table and the waitress attended us with water prompt and took our order. We had Scotch fillets and porterhouse steak. The menu stated the steaks come with a salad, but it was more like a garnish on the side, which was the only negative of the night All the meals came out quite quickly and at the same time. The scotch was very tender. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended if you're after a great steak or burger in Southbank. If the weather is nice, the outdoor seating is lovely, close to the river and Melbourne ambience. In wet or cold weather, the indoor or covered seating is great Fantastic service. One of my fav restaurants.

Ideal place to bring your date. It's still a bit chilly in Melbourne, but the outside seating area is very warm and cozy with all the gas heaters. The Beef Wellington is a must try signature dish, tenderly cooked beef and seasoned nicely with a subtle truffle/fungus taste. Drinks and cocktails are very delicious too!

A very nice restaurant classy with great atmosphere whether you dine inside or outside you will have a wonderful experience.The food was delicious and we were well looked after the waitress was always there for us making sure we had everything we needed .The signature dish beef wellington was cooked to perfection so delicious in fact everyone was happy with there meals .The only thing missing were tomatoes from the salad you would think they would have tomato on there menu .The only down side is the toilets just not good enough for a high standard restaurant they need updating immediately,this is the reason for the 4 stars.

Out Friday night after work and looked for a place to eat and as it's December and we didn't have a booking anywhere we were lucky as people were leaving as we looked in the Breslin. We had a great time and enjoyed the food and wine. Service was fantastic. I recommend booking as it's very popular. Started with the Prawn Cocktail, Chicken Wings and Bread. Mains, we all went the bbq whole flathead (no head). Sides, Brocolini, Carrots and some chips. Great Feed.

Loving those appetisers. The beef tartare is seasoned very well with a little tangy, together with these fresh oysters, really brings up your appetite for the mains. The seafood linguine andBeef wellington are delicious and portions are great to share.

Quality food for the price you pay. Waiters were very courteous and very helpful. First time there and the family loved it.

Was a fantastic meal, ribs, steak, and some starters were all delicious and cooked perfectly. I think the favourite was the pork ribs.

Nice dining experience, enjoyed the startera, loved the steak( cooked to perfection), mixed ribs and wagyu burger. Desserts menu was okayish. We sat outside, view was nice, service was good and overall had a good dining experience.

The food was nice, the staff were friendly but didn’t check in or see if we wanted anything. Lost drink sales and upswell. Sauces were mixed up and average response to resolve. Deserts were expected to be selected, instead of being offered. For the price and location higher level of service was expected. May try again as May have been just the one night. Being busy wasn’t a factor.

Very nice food and stunning environment! Love the chargrill chicken and seafood linguine. My son loves the new dessert which is a big Ferrero chocolate. Staff service is very good too.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. However food is very average tasting and I think a bit overpriced. Breslin’s signature was ok but pricey, I couldn’t count it as main course. I enjoyed drinks more than foods. The really disappointing thing was the washroom. The entrance wasn’t presentable as they were lots of kitchen stuff and basin was so dirty. That means no one check it for long time. Thanks 🙏

The weather was amazing last Sunday so we decided to sit outside. Great spots to have some delicious food and also enjoy the sunshine. Must try their beef Wellington and seafood linguine!

The food were amazing. Particularly enjoyed the ribs - tender, well marinated and seasoned, good size for the price. Extensive list of drinks that would surely pair well with your food. Lovely ambiance to complete the night.

We visited The Breslin Bar & Grill as a spontaneous last minute decision whilst walking along the Yarra. We were after something a little more quiet (compared to the bustling SOHO bar next door) and were pleasantly surprised at the dishes served. Standout favourites include the beef wellington, chargrilled chicken and spiced pork cheeks. Also, can't go wrong with classics such as the prawn linguine and oysters. Overall good food and great service. Can't complain. Will be back.

Amazing modern western cuisine! Dishes that we ordered are perfectly prepared. Beef Wellington was slightly crusty and flaky outside and beef was juicy soft and tender. Creamy mash potato melt in your mouth with the right taste and texture. Seafood linguine was a nice al dente bite and fresh seafood complemented the whole dish. Green beans was unexpectedly good. Beef and pork ribs were very satisfying, full of flavour and soft in texture. I definitely will return for more.

Great food and service. The table ordered the chagrined chicken, madras lamb shoulder, beef Wellington, scotch fillet and the girls got a sticky date pudding to share. Everyone was pleased with their food. Not cheap, but it is Melbourne and glad it was good food. Recommend. 9/10

Dined for a lighter lunch, we shared the create your own 3 course selections & ordered mac/cheese croquettes, Portuguese chicken skewers & sticky pork belly. All the 3 meals were delicious. I also had a southside cocktail which was tasty. Service friendly. Would like to return to try out the ribs, they looked good.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with beautiful views of the river. The highlight of my meal was definitely the beef Wellington, which was cooked to perfection and had a delicious crust that melted in my mouth. The pork rib was also incredible, with a flavorful and juicy meat.
