This place should spend less on decor and focus on quality hairdressing. It was terrible. All wrong. Even after explaining that this was a special occasion! He was distracted by the clock and wanting to get off for lunch!!!! Please don’t be fooled by the fancy decor - and the exuberant pricing $75 for head and beard trim!

Outstanding service, Mario was amazing with our toddler and we had a great chat as he cut my hair. A fine example of what a barbershop should be. Thoroughly recommended. Had another great haircut with Pat this morning. The whole team continues to be wonderful with our now 3 year old, empowering him to get his hair cut by himself

I have no idea what you did to my husband's hair but I could have done better at home, I'm honestly shocked, perhaps an unsupervised apprentice, however, he was in his 40/50s so unsure, but the worst haircut I've ever seen. Legit looks like a cm above the hair line has been shaved all the way around.

I’ve been coming here since you guys opened and I always get a great haircut. But this time I want to mention my experience yesterday with Pat when I bought my 2 year old in for a haircut. I can’t imagine cutting kids hair is easy when they don’t particularly want it done, but Pat was unbelievably patient with him and the level of genuine care and passion Pat showed to make sure he got a great hair cut is the reason I’ll continue to keep coming back and bringing my kids here too. Thanks again guys!

I’ve been going here for a couple of years now and have never been disappointed with a haircut, despite not having (or wanting) a regular barber. The staff are always super friendly, the front desk staff are very welcoming, and the pricing is reasonable.

This place is great! My 2 yr old son went in to get his hair cut and they were amazing with him. You honestly get what you pay for. The service, the price and atmosphere. This place has it all.

Always has great service with plenty of barbers working on any day of the week. You can't book an appointment but you can drop in and leave your number for a call back.

Amazing service, my little guy gets his hair style cut here with picture designs shaved into the side and they are always calm and can create his requested masterpiece to make him happy. Highly recommend

I started coming to New York Barbers in 2017, at the time they were in a different shop located a short walk away from their current address. I'm big on judging a place from the first time you go and this place did not disappoint. I've now been going here for 7 years, they cut my son's hair now as well as mine. I honestly couldn't recommend anywhere else as highly as I do here. The best in Australia as far as I'm concerned.

Both my son's go here now Set up is good all the staff seem to get on well you can have a drink while you are waiting which I thought was a clever way to increase revenue

Nightmarish. Got violated. Barber must’ve been on his first day because he did not know how to cut hair or listen. Wouldn’t ever come back here, the service is horrible barber will leave and go for a smoke and come back. if you value your hair I would stay away

Cool place, offers coffee before a trim. Unfortunately I got the deaf and blind barber, so try to avoid him.

Have been coming hear for years and always regret if I'm forced into going elsewhere. Regardless of barber I've never had a bad hair cut here which I cant say about anywhere else. Great service and Great coffee, can only appreciate a small business run well and want to return to show support.

Have been going here on and off for years . Always a good cut and courteous staff . Second time I've been and used my seniors card and haircut was rushed and average . Don't advertise a seniors rate if that's the attitude . Lost me as a customer .
