Shocking admin team, pool staff and lifeguards are great though amazing facilities. Cafe since COVID is challenged by staff and opening hours no idea what's gone wrong there and the new payment and swim system they have added recently utterly complicated and problematic. Front desk staff only have 1 day a week on Thursdays where someone can help with that as other staff don't know how it works and they only give 48hrs notice for changes which also require you to come in with payment changes as it can't be done online or over the phone according to the girl on the front desk. Whatever happened in the last 6 months the admin management needs looking at, my 5 star review in 2020 down to 3 because of it.

There is something here for everyone. The gym is top quality, I came from the very lackluster core 24 and this place is leagues above it. The machines are all kept on great condition, I've never seen it too busy to work out either. The staff are friendly and very helpful There are great gym classes as well and they seem super popular. After the gym you have the massive pool area. There is a kids area which works great and allows you to swim laps without interruption. The water slides are also a big hit especially in the school holidays. Their are a lot of lap pools so you will generally find a lane. The water is always nice and warm as well, not too hot and definitely not too cold You also have the heated pool area as well. This is great for rehabilitation or a relaxing spa. There is wheelchair access into the pool as well. It's truly a terrific setup and with the help of carers, everyone can swim here. The sauna and steam bath work really good as well This is the best recreation centre I've come across. Highly recommend and there is something there for everyone

Great facility and staff, but unfortunately the gym is too busy during peak times with excessive wait times for popular equipment. You will have to adjust your workout to "what's available tonight" instead of being able to follow a plan. All gyms are busy around 6pm, but this is excessive. I really hope PARC find a way to add more equipment or rearrange the floor layout to make the experience more accessible and productive. Especially when membership is now shy of $27 a week ($115 per month) - one of the most expensive in Melbourne. If you like group classes then you'll be able to get more value but if you're like the many who just want to use the equipment, you will be frustrated.

Horrible experience here! One of the only pools that I have been too that don’t allow babies in the warm pool, plus you have to pay extra for half of the facilities (which wasn’t offered when we attended for the first time). Argumentative reception staff. We expressed our disappointment and staff argued with us even whilst we walked away. We were told there was half a warmer pool to use in the other area or to go on the playground with our 5 month old baby. There was not even a quarter of the warmer pool available to use due to swimming lessons however half the lanes weren’t even being used at the time but still unavailable to us. Kids were jumping/bombing in the pool which was only a metre deep. You had one lifeguard telling kids off for jumping in (obviously due to the signs saying “no diving” and pool safety in general) then you had another lifeguard encouraging children to jump/dive in. Then proceed to come over to us and say “if we didn’t like splashing in the pool we could use another area”. Splashing is not an issues you expect that at a pool but a lifeguard encouraging children to use the shallow pool in a unsafe manner is not acceptable. Will not return here again. First time there and definitely the last. Overpriced, facilities not available. Horrible staff except one of the young male life guards.

This is a go to for our school holidays. They run an inflatable obstacle course each holidays. It’s free just book early to avoid disappointment. Kids love it and staff are always great. This year with COVID they took extra steps to allow it to run. Cleaning between sessions was a nice touch. Otherwise slides are great for all ages. Water playground steps it up for the little ones. During summer months they open up outside for extra events. On a side note they changed coffee suppliers recently. I love it personally. Recommend this place peeps.

I have the Full Access membership (concession: $20~ a week). Both the gym & the pool are fantastic and clean, staff are always helpful. Classes are well run & the trainers are very encouraging. School holidays can make the pool a little busy though - so plan around that!

Went today (last day of school holidays), it was busy but manageable. If I didn't know any better, I'd say it was salt water, the taste and sting is very strong and salty. As expected, 90% of attendees use only the warmer pools, so the cold (larger pools) were very quiet and the warm pools were very packed. Not really room enough for swimming, just bobbing around. The play ground area is great for all ages. Well manned with life guards and regular announcements/reminders.

My 10yo boy and his friends love this place. Once a week Maximum though or I start to hear this place is boring. Kids want so much variety these days. In general staff are great, the kiosk menu could do with a bit of variation throughout year but is sufficient.

This is a great, fun, affordable day out for the family. Facilities are fantastic with friendly, helpful staff and lifeguards. There are multiple pools for all ages and abilities, 2 large slides and a water park with 3 smaller slides, splash buckets and other water toys. Often have an inflatable obstacle course and inflatable zorb ball to play on. Available for parties. Good parking, locker hire, delicious cafe but you can bring in food from home too. It's definitely a favourite!

Facilities are great, staff not so much. They don't tell you on entry that most of the pool is blocked off for lessons. They let you pay to get in and then not be able to use the pool. But that's only after they leave you standing in the entry line while they catch up on their "weekend catch up" chat. When I went to ask why they don't tell us that the pool is blocked off I was told "well we don't know" Not friendly, not nice people.

Fantastic day out for our kids! Both water slides were working! Great chia pudding and coffee! Kids had a ball!

  • 5/5 Iain S. 1 year ago on Google
This is a fun place especially for kids. 2 hours went by very quickly, just a shame the water slides were not open but still lots of fun. I'm very thankful to the excellent staff. At one point my young kid panicked and got into trouble and a lifeguard was there literally in seconds, resolved it and took care to assess her thoroughly, put us both at ease, excellent!

My son does swimming lessons here and we try to come down most weekends. Aside from lap swimming, PARC boasts a tiny tots pool, plus a kids pool that is fabulous for those not quite ready for the depths or lower temperature of the big pool. The kids play zone comprises of 3 water slides, designed with different ages in mind. Of course the main feature, the w massive waterslides are a big draw card. However, as I have not yet experienced either of them my only comment would be that they appear super popular. Check open hours before planning a visit.

Lap pool Kids pool Water playground Hydrotherapy pool Sauna Steam room Gym Studio classes The facilities are really good, and totally worth a visit. Kids can spend hours here. They have an extensive list of studio classes, including but not limited to; Les Mills and pilates reformer. The prices are really great too. I would highly recommend a visit to PARC. I'll be back.

It is EXTREMELY well priced for what you get and quite frankly, I'd easily pay double without question. In addition to using the gym equipment, I also do 3-4 classes a week after work. Your instructors are amazing, especially Bel who makes Body Attack the highlight of my week, Lou who is highly motivating during Core and Kristy and Erin who are so zen and calming during Pilates/Yoga/Body Balance. Thank you for all the facilities you provide and for fostering an environment where your staff are all so lovely and caring. Keep up the amazing work

PARC has everything and the whole facility is kept 5 star shipshape n equipment updated to current standards. Only limitation is the 50m pool gets minimum hours of a Monday-Friday morning before the boom is used making it 25m. No 50m on weekdays.

Great centre but needs a lot of updating. Bathrooms are constantly dirty and not cleaned properly. Slides, drink fountains, showers, and lockers are constantly broken and needing repairs Edited as the centre seems to have updated their cleaning schedule. Showers in particular are looking a lot better.

PARC is a great facility. An excellent highlight is the vigilance of the lifeguards, they're always moving and checking on everyone. The highest standard I've ever seen.

If this place had an outdoor pull it would be even better. Pretty good gym and great aquatic facilities. Sadly, though, a visit for a family with a couple of kids is insanely expensive. You even have to pay to watch children swim even if you do not use any facilities. A membership is better value but even th net is quite costly. If they could sort out pricing for people who only go once or twice a week and something that families could afford to do once a week. It would be a really great thing because it is a community resource. But at the moment only communitremembers with a good amount of disposable income can go.

I love parc. The gym is fantastic and all the creche staff are wonderful. It enables me to do what I need to do. And know my kids are in great hands. Although it would be nice if there was some afternoon creche sessions as well. To give that little bit more flexibility for when when I come in. The only other thing I would say is. That it would be nice if the stretch/warm up area in the gym was be bigger. I know there is restricted room. But it is hard to try and warm up or cool down sometimes. Without feeling like you are encroaching on the person next to you. Other than that everything else is top notch. And when you are a full member what is on offer to you is unbelievable.

This is a bright large centre with water fun for all the family. Worth the drive from anywhere. Parking is refunded if you're there for the pool. Lots of swimming lanes too. Quite strict on parental attention to kids. Lots of staff patrolling pools. 10 out of 10 from me

  • 4/5 Lyn D. 2 years ago on Google

I like go to Parc for aqua exercises on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday night and Friday morning, sometimes on sat morning, aqua exercise teachers are very nice and they know I am deaf. Also Les Mills Core Lou S is very nice and friendly. I have not been doing Les Core for while will back on December. Gym and hyper warm pool too. Would like try different exercises in future.

I’ve spent many years trying to find a gym that’s right for me and I’m so glad I’ve found Parc! The classes are AWESOME! They have such a great selection at flexible times and the instructors are the just the best - always super motivating, energetic and take the time to make sure you’re looked after. I personally don’t use the gym or the pool/spa/sauna aspect but it’s great that they have these available. You also get a lot out of your membership and for a reasonable price. The only downside is that the gym is always busy but it just goes to show just how much it’s loved! A big thank you to the team for creating such a powerful space, keep it up!

Ricki is an absolute legend! Always has time for a chat and to fine tune your program! Great guy who really knows his stuff, why they don't put him on more shifts is beyond me! He knows his stuff and doesn't stand around encouraging the mothers clubs hogging machines like some other trainers do, never rude, but always keeps everything moving along so those of us that train (rather than socialise) can get in and get out without fuss

Very extensive and comprehensive setup. Large complex that services an equally large community and is busy every day with school groups. Have found that the best time is around 2:30, which gives you a solid hour between school groups and squad times. There is plenty of parking and an on-site cafe.

  • 5/5 Tim C. 3 months ago on Google New
Awesome entertainment for the kids. Plenty of life guards on duty, lockers available, big family change rooms. If you pay for parking you can get it validated inside and get $2 back

I give the top marks to the cleaning staff who quietly and efficiently keep the centre perfectly clean. With out them you would not go there. Give them a pay rise.

I just came back to PARC after many moons & a back injury. I asked Pru (one of the awesome fitness staff) Re using the machines. Her empathy and down to earth way she spoke to me was so encouraging and empowering. Not feeling daunted anymore. All the staff in the gym were so helpful and friendly. Well done on creating such a great team

Good place for swimming. Large pool could be a bit warmer though there is a smaller super heated. There is not much room for general swimming for little kids while lessons are ongoing. Otherwise it is excellent.

  • 4/5 Donna B. 1 year ago on Google
Good venue with the fun pool area for families & lots on offer for fitness enthusiasts. There could be a lot more of the popular Pilates classes at peak times. Feedback forms submitted are not acknowledged (3 mths ago).

Absolutely love the hydro part they have it all pool, spa, sauna and steam room. You can do physio therapy there. The swimming pools looks like fun the kids love it. If you haven't been you should go.

Do not let your children eat here, out of 6, 5 went down with nausea/vomiting, cramps and the runs. All 5 ate the chicken and fish. Kid #6 just stuck with hot chips and is fine. Please either ensure food handling practices are rehearsed, or for anyone concerned stay away from the chicken and fish at this facility.

Even though there are closer aquatic centers, I prefer PARC as it has everything we need. The change rooms are a great size, including the family rooms. The kids play area and learn to swim are great. The big pools are such a nice temp too. Only issue is that during peak times it'd be good to have a bigger recreation area int eh big pool, rather than just one lanes worth, it's frustrating when the swim lanes are pretty much empty (aka only 1 or 2 people doing laps) but there are 8 lanes available and the recreation area is full. The chips in the cafe are also amazing...very important to my 5 year old!

  • 5/5 Hayden M. 2 years ago on Google
Go here often. I have a swim membership. Swim facilities are great. There's a sauna, hot spa, and steam room for recovery too. Staff are always friendly. But I would recommend bringing a drink bottle. Some of the drinking taps aren't working. Plenty of showers available also. Recommend this place.

I have been taking a client with disabilities to the hydro pool for 2 years. With in that time we have had nothing but bad experiences with change rooms being very un hygienic, hoist and bathing tables not working. I have emailed them numerous times regarding these issues.

  • 5/5 Andy D. W. 1 year ago on Google
Just a quick update, one of parcs management team called me regarding a few issues, what professionalism, at least its good to know someone is monitoring how the disability workers from aqua access 4 all are going. The child disability workers could show a little more care and attention in their important work. But hey, who am I to raise a voice in that area. I love parc, the staff are awesome, and I go there primarily for the hydro pool. Top notch facilities, just one great enterprise.

  • 4/5 Mark K. 9 months ago on Google
Great facilities and good disabled access. Awesome, friendly staff. Pools/spa are a bit colder than i would like, but that's personal taste. Only negative is there are often breakdowns to facilities.

I regularly go swimming at Parc. After getting to my car I realised I must have left my swimming cap near the lanes. I went back in and asked reception if I could go back in to get it and they said no. They said nothing had been handed in and I was to give my name and phone number in case it was found. I restated that it had literally just happened and I just wanted to go and get it. The man said no and asked me to describe it. I got no phone call. Absolutely ridiculous - I’d paid to use the pool and now will be paying again for a swimming camp that I wouldn’t need to pay for had I been able to quickly look for it. And to think I was going to sign up for a membership next time I visited.

  • 1/5 K F. 10 months ago on Google
Strongly advise against enrolling your children in swimming lessons here. It's run really badly. They charge you even during school holidays when there are no lessons and it's encumbent on you to suspend. My daughter has been taught for the last 9 months swimming in a 10 metre section. They've tested her twice only in that time and said she has to improve her breaststroke kicking. What a joke she swims longer in our own pool. Don't waste your money. Use another provider.

  • 3/5 Bella J. 9 months ago on Google
I’m rating the gym only. This place is massive with very little segmentation of areas. The stretch area is non existent with room for about 3 mats and nowhere for box jumps etc. Over sized, rows and rows of machines, too busy. Not my type of gym at all.

  • 5/5 Lisa K. 2 years ago on Google
My 4 kids do swim lessons here and we absolutely love it. The swim lessons are run well, the staff are friendly and their are always swim supervisors on deck to help with any questions. We also love coming outside of our swim lessons for casual swimming which is all included in our swim memberships. Definitely recommend!

  • 4/5 Crystal T. 2 years ago on Google
Frankston's local indoor pools and gym. The facilities are nice and clean. There is a small water park for the kids and 2 large water slides. The kids pool area is often used for swimming lessons so check before you go. The lap pool is too cold for my kids but great for adults.

  • 2/5 William K. 2 months ago on Google • 1 review New
Why does the rides and the kids water area have to close up 3 hours early. I’m not impressed but this is still my favourite place to have a swim.
