Went here for brunch Food: we got the eggs Benedict and the mushroom melody. They were both absolutely amazing and tasted delicious. Coffee: everyone has their preference, but have to say this was pretty darn good coffee Service: excellent from the very beginning, the team here were very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend this place. Will definitely be back until we try everything Edit: went back for another round and had the O.G burger and fritters. The O.G burger is delicious, kinda taste like a better and healthy version of the big Mac, but the fritter was not really my thing - a bit too saucy for my liking.

Very cool little place tucked away in Bentleigh East. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with cozy seating areas in and outdoor. Some really cool food option and coffee is lovely. Dishes are well presented and packed with flavour. It's a true gem in the and the perfect spot for a cozy and delicious meal any time of day.

This Cafe tucked away in Bentleigh is certainly popular with the locals, quite busy when we there with people eating in or getting takeaway coffees. We dined in and had coffees (decaf soy lattes and flat whites) while husband had scrambled eggs on toast, with extra toast while I had a cheese and tomato toasted sandwich and a bowl of fries. So overall food fine but I didn't like the chips, and I love chips! I think they're the type that are double fried? Anyway not to my taste. And they could improve the vegetarian offering, as they have 2 types of burgers, but no vegetarian option and they have 3 types of toastie (chicken x 2 and tuna) but again no vegetarian so asked if they could do cheese and tomato and they did, so thank you. However, they very obviously lack storage as items stored next to where we were sitting and boy that's a bad look, at least cover the stuff! Some parking out the front.

Such a great find. Really lovely staff, great menu, had an Asian twist with the variety of options and very busy. Highly recommend going and we had the bacon and egg roll, poached eggs on toast, chilli eggs and cereal. Very good coffee too.

We were having a car repaired at the mechanic nearby and needed some morning sustenance, I found this humble café on google maps and the rest is history. A great contemporary vibe inside and out, prompt greeting when we entered and were seated quickly. Offered drinks right away and their menu had plenty of options to choose from. I went for the fritters which came out beautifully presented and the taste didn't let me down either. Everything was reasonably priced, the staff were run off their feet for the whole duration of our visit. Great little cafe, the owners should applaude their employees.

Best scrambled eggs, bacon and coffee in Melbourne!! We are local to Bentleigh East and go every Sunday morning to HC. It's the highlight of our week. We have tried many cafes around Melbourne and are very fussy about our scrambled eggs. Humble Creatures has the creamiest, fluffiest, tastiest scrambled eggs and bacon hands down. Portion size is generous and coffee is spectacular too. Staff are so friendly, nice and accomodating every time. Can't wait for next week 😊

Humble Creatures lives up to its name. The staff are friendly and inviting yet still humble and appreciative of their customers. We ordered truffle mushrooms and the fritters. All arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. Coffee here is one of the best I've had in a long while. Highly recommend visiting Humble Creatures.

Very nice breakfast and great service, only improvement with the food would be big to not serve the scrambled eggs sitting on the toast (makes the bread soggy) and the little stools outside are a tad uncomfortable (a standard chair with a back would be better for dining outside). Coffee was exceptional and will definitely return.

The food was truly amazing, offering a delightful fusion of flavors that left a lasting impression. Our choice of chili scrambled eggs and fritters proved to be a culinary masterpiece. The staff was not only attentive but also exceptionally friendly, going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The highlight, however, was the coffee. It wasn't just good; it was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable culinary adventure.

We ordered the Benedict and chilli scramble. They were both ok, I think flavours were just super over powering. The chilli scramble had way too much fried scallions that the taste was overwhelming. If you eat around it is fine. The Benedict was good, I personally just think the char siu bacon was sickly sweet. Service was great, and I do like being able to order from your table.

Once upon a time this place was my go to cafe. I hadn’t been in a while so thought I’d pop in today. But apart from good coffee, I didn’t enjoy my experience. I ordered a muffin that was dry and i barely ate half. Their menu hasn’t changed (ever?), to the point that even their muffins options are aways just the same 2 flavours. Would love to see them change things up as it just feels like the spark has gone.

This food was TOP TEIR GODLY FOOD. I personally don't think I have ever had flavours that so graciously danced on my tongue like this food did. I got the O.G burger (no onion add on fries) and the Junior pancakes (a delicious pancake with chocolate sause and sprinkless) it was sooo good like heavenly. The staff was so so sweet and nice. DEF WILL COME HERE AGAIN!!!

I am here so often (community nurse) and I have tried just about the whole menu and love this place so much! And the coffee is amazing too. The staff are so lovely and friendly. The food is always perfection. Don’t miss their chicken herb sandwich- to die for!!!

Very homey and welcoming small cafe. You walk in and feel as if you've been invited to a get together with friends. The wait staff were lovely and the service was quick, only having to wat 10-20min for our 5 meals. I got the Mushroom Medley which was one of their vegetarian options. There was a crispy warm slice of sourdough bread underneath this beautiful savoury mouth-watering heap of mushrooms and fried lotus. The mushrooms were soft and bouncy while having an amazing earthy taste, whilst the lotus provided a nice crunch. The toast had hummus, spread on it, which in my opinion was a little too much, a little less would have really enhanced the flavour of the dish rather than try to be the star of the show. Other than the dish was a well balanced vegetarian meal which I would highly recommend to anyone going. A highlight of Humble Creatures is their beautiful fries, the chips were exquisite compared to other places I have been. They were seasoned with just the right amount of salt and spices and had this nice bite to it. Overall, the cafe is a place I would highly recommend for familes, dates or even just to stop by and much worth the drive our if you don't live in the area.

Got a recommendation to check out this little gem by my ex coffee and food teacher and my family and I weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, great food and good service. I had a Matcha Latte and the Soba Salad which were divine. My mum had the loose leaf chai and enjoyed it despite it being full of little pieces since she normally gets the powder chai. Dad got a cappuccino and scrambled eggs on toast which he enjoyed. If we weren't told about this place, we probably wouldn't of known that it existed since the area it's in is so unconventional. Dog and families with kids friendly. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that the inside has no atmosphere since there are no paintings on the wall or music but other than that, it was a good outing. Awesome that they had the machine that makes the cold brew on display since its not really something you would see very often. The seats you sit on at the mail table are quite heavy so be mindful when your moving them.

The staff upon entry were super cold and unfriendly. I thought maybe I walked in and they were closing or something. After standing awkwardly for a few seconds and saying I’d like a table for lunch, the young gentleman just pointed to a seat and table. There was a short Asian girl who was very friendly when she took our order and when we paid, but the others.. 🥴 must have been having a bad day? The food options look good, and the Bahn mi sandwich was tasty. Prices were okay. Cafe is clean and nice inside.
