    Big open clean store very well stocked. Staff customer service was sparse and for what I was looking for the knowledge was minimal. I now have to go elsewhere for my baby turtle.

    Easily the best Petbarn on the peninsula, they price match anything online and got all the stock you need for your pets. Special shout-out to the employee Josh he is an absolute dream to talk too, not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about your pet need but he is so friendly and it’s incredibly infectious. You leave the store knowing you have what you need.

    Just had the worst experience in this shop. Having been talked into this brand by this store for the past 3 months there has been no product and I have had to source this large dog food bag elsewhere. When I brought that up with management the bloke denied they did not have the product! Then said we haven’t had in the last month. Again a lie! Staff also are quite happy to advise no stock for the last 3 months and are quite happy to let customers go even when three months ago I requested them this was a problem and to get management to order more. So another customer advised me of an alternative in the store in front of the staff, which is great for me as no one said sorry for the hassle we’ve put you through! So worming / flexing etc and dog food business will go elsewhere! Gave them three goes to get it right but they don’t care! So we’ll use a company that does. The customer should not be argued with! An apology would have gone a long way!

    Frankston store was helpful, but the system was not. A "prescribed" Hills Science Diet food I went in store for was only avail on line via a disclaimer. I asked if disclaimer could be done on paper to save me time. No, so I had to open an account, wait, then the order wasn't done, I left the store and had to return. It is such a simple thing to help the customer to provide a paper form and then the store to email it to the "HQ". It also meant I then had 2 accounts open, affecting my points. So after two visits to the store, I then had to phone Customer Experiences, so my 2 accounts could be merged to one account. So much for technology making life easier. Please Petbarn, create another, simpler way. I spent over 1-1/2 hour on a 15 minute shopping experience.

    I made an online order for same-day delivery, but I made it after the 2pm specifically requested on their website - in fact, I ordered just after 5pm. So I fully expected my order not to come until the next day -- but it turned up an hour later. I am so impressed, this place always goes above and beyond and the staff are always extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. Highly recommend.

    Their store offers an incredible range of products for all my furry friends. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. I never leave empty-handed and my pets are always thrilled with their goodies. Highly recommend!

    The staff are always helpful and friendly here, and there are plenty of options for keeping pets happy. If you're a regular shopper, prices come way down, so it's worth it to sign up.

    Don’t bother choosing the 2hpur urgent same day delivery option it’s likely you won’t get it, that you will be blamed for ordering outside their ‘window’ and no refund of the urgent delivery cost offered. They use Uber as third party urgent delivery who just leave your parcel anywhere…mine was eventually delivered next day not the day I ordered and paid for, box ripped open contents exposed. No refund or apology offered. Very poor service.

    So so so so helpful and patient! The lady who helped me was with me for over half an hour and was so so informative and helpful I did go for a pet tag and leave with a lot more but it was so reasonably price and the food is cheaper than supermarket food! Also the man that did the id tag was amazing too so so friendly! I will def be back and be buying my weekly food and treats from here. Great job guys u obviously have a great manager as u all seem so happy to be there and work as a great team thank you so much! Added pics of her new outfit she got fitted with! She is a handful but I never felt embarrassed they all loved sky and treated her great too!! And I got a lesson on harness and the first time she had new harness on she was walking like a trained dog! Anyway safe to say I was happy with service in every way and I’m sorry but I’ll be back haha

    Great staff, very friendly and helpful whenever I have questions whether it's for clients pets or my own cat, rabbit or dog. Highly recommend visiting their store next time you need advice about the best products to use. They don't just automatically recommend the expensive brands, they genuinely do care about your fur babies 😊

    This is the lowest i have been. My pet goldfish named Dequillias has unfortunately passed away. This has hurt me into crippling depression. My pet cat named Bartholomew ate him. He was brainwashed by a rival cat. RIP Dequillias. Get well soon Bartholomew

    I’ve visited Frankston Petbarn 5 times in the last 10days as I have a new puppy. Allana was so helpful & knowledgable. Petbarn price match too so I always research on my phone whilst in store to get goods cheaper. I’ve also noticed that even Petbarn online is cheaper than in store. Eg: I bought a medium dog bed today, it was $100 in store but $80 online so they price matched.

    Had issues with my online order, rang up Petbarn who promptly handled my problem, and informed me that they had informed the Frankston store who had my order ready for me to collect. A fantastic service and friendly staff. Highly recommend for anyone who has pets 🤗

    Service is excellent, one particular member of the staff treats every with consideration and kindness, he shows real passion for his job and customer service. The prices are excellent and if you find something else cheaper, they match the price, u just need to ask. Totally recommend it.

    Adopted my cat from this store a while ago but went through a little trouble getting her. Had to come in multiple times to be told that I needed to wait another day to pick the cat up. When I finally got her, the lady helping out was friendly but some of the other staff gave off the vibe that they didn’t even want to be there & gave attitude at the counter-it was a little weird!

    Worst experience ever. Phoned the store and they had the food. Drove an hour and got told I couldn’t have it. Young upstart staff member told me to stop my carry on and was the rudest I have ever dealt with

    Went in to get some food for a parrot I wasn't sure what food to get as I hadn't had one before I asked the worker and he recommended one I later found out he told me he doesn't know alot about birds, I reply that's fair enough what animals do you have he goes to reply "I had a cat when I was little" keep in mind this person is mabey in there 30s so why are you hiring people that have no clue about real health on ANY animals at Ll don't think anyone should work at a pet store with no knowledge on how to take care of them Not %100 if this was Frankston but was a petbarn franchise

    I've been a "frequent feeder" for more than three years here, I visit every two weeks to re stock. today I needed to do a massive stock up on feed and health products for my boarder collie and thinking that being a "frequent feeder" I'd be charged the "frequent feeder" price. I was told im not a frequent feeder, after looking at the online price for members she said she couldnt offer that either so i ended up paying $65 more than a "frequent feeder" or "member" would of for my shop. Extremely un happy and I wouldn't recommend using this location. This "frequent feeder" will now frequently be using pet stock.

    Horrible service. I started shopping here 2-3 months ago roughly every week. I’ve had a couple rude behaviours but thought nothing of it. I bought two packets of crickets got home and there were two crickets in one pack and one in the other. Because I don’t live close I didn’t bother. When I came back I said to one of the guys what I encountered. To be careful what they sell, if it’s old and dead don’t sell it. I got back didn’t you see what you were buying? I said no, I don’t open cricket containers so they don’t jump out. Secondly I expect the container have at least 50 not 2. Done nothing about it and left. Two months ago I bought a heat globe for $18 it lasted 1 month. So two days ago I bought another. It lasted 1 night. I still had the package it came in. I brought it back today and all I got was “There is no warranty on globes and you’d have to prove to me you have serge protectors. I got pretty frustrated and said mate this was 2 days ago not 6 months. Finally he said he would replace it. Asked for my receipt, I paid cash and didn’t get given an receipt, I didn’t think for a second this globe will only last one night. Not a good experience at all.

    It feels rare to receive such poor service in retail these days. The junior staff were all friendly and enthusiastic. Unfortunately, the senior staff and manager at this store were awful to deal with; dismissive, rude and not remotely interested in helping and/or honouring a product warranty. I was civil and friendly but was completely shut-down and dismissed. Perhaps they were having a hard time, need support, or some training? I'm not sure but it wasn't a pleasant experience. If you have any product issues, don't bother travelling in to attend the store - call their customer care team, where the staff are friendly, courteous, will listen and review any issues (thank you!) As for this particular store in Frankston - based on the attitudes alone, I won't be returning.

    The store had most things and the store wasn't smelly, however they had limited amount of pets in stock. Prices were on the high side (about 50% higher), and beware of sneaky pricing with small print to catch you out (see picture), but overall a good experience.

    Absolutely terrible service - never buy from this incompetent company- from online purchases, to the Narre warren store (Monique ) , to the Frankston store . There used to be a thing called ‘customer service ‘. I never ever complain , even if poor service , but if one person reads this and avoids the hassle I’ve had - im glad .

    Pricing on website is cheaper than in store. You don’t get the cheaper pricing unless you ask for it. Apparently it’s policy….. be sure to check website for price and get them to match
