Their coffee is a top-notch. The cappuccino is so creamy and milk temperature is just perfect. On top of that, they have great customer service as well. Phong (hope I spelled the name right, if not, I'm terribly sorry!) and Hajeong are really friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to come back here next time!!!

Coffee is fantastic, a large flat white for 6.50, with made a very generous three shots of expresso. Delicious! Ambience is very cheerful and friendly, staff are extremely friendly and chatty with patrons. Will come back again.

The "cool house" cafe is a great place for a quiet breakfast with a friend. I always get a coffee here. Very trendy, very modern, and great food and service. They lose a mark for the price tag though.

Coffee is amazing and toasted Ruben sandwich is to die for and reasonably priced for the city they also roast their own coffee so grab a bag if you have your own machine at home it’s really worth it And above all service is quick and very pleasant staff happy and vibrant You guys rock

Although Poolhouse is on Swanston street, it really feels tucked away. Great coffee for good value here. It gets very busy during peak hours these days a uni students are back in the city though. Shame it’s only open on weekdays

Consistently very good coffee. Tasty toastie‘s. Assortment of cakes muffins. Good range of daily newspapers, which is surprising these days and, to top it off friendly staff.

Fantastic matcha latte. I Could use more food options especially some Asian options. Washroom is shared with pool house upstairs. Need to go to the reception and they let you through the turnstiles. Would be good to provide an unfiltered tap if cafe didn’t want patrons to fill their water bottles with the filter.

Just down a lane (it is Melbourne) in the old public bathing house. Coffee smooth and rich. Nice place to sit for a while and listen to the soothing sounds of the trams. Staff friendly.

Service was good, friendly. Was surprised to see they even charge extra for skinny milk when it doesn't cost any more than full cream. Their milk coffees may be okay, I haven't tried, but their espresso is not great. No crema, astringent, a bit burnt. Didn't finish it.

Been meaning to come here for ages and finally visited recently. My coffee was good and the service was nice and they have free wifi, though the space isn’t really big enough to sit and linger with a laptop. Nice when you need a quick dose of caffeine, though.

Some of the better coffee in the immediate area. Good service and averagely priced food for a cafe. They've always got lots of toasties ready to cook for a quick breakfast. While I find the place stylish, I feel it slightly bare, echoy and sterile.

Had a great experience at PoolHouse Coffee today! Decor is on point! Lots of whites and blues and indoor plants ? Luke and the team looked after us really well. We started with the cafe’s own PoolHouse Coffee with Oat mylk and it was so delish. In fact I had 2!! We also tried the tofu rice paper rolls which are made by the owner’s family fresh every day! They were so fresh and tasty, the perfect light breakfast! A great place to grab coffee on the go or sit with a friend or a book and enjoy the vibe!

I visited Poolhouse Coffee late on a Monday morning. The café is easily located, in an alleyway off Swanston Street. I was promptly greeted by the friendly staff and able to order straight away. The coffee is delicious and well-priced - $4.50 for a regular coffee. Despite there only being one free table when I visited, the café is surprisingly peaceful. The music plays at a volume that is quiet enough for you to not be distracted by it but loud enough for you to ‘choose’ to listen to it. Poolhouse Coffee offers a sanctuary for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Melbourne’s CBD and enjoy a coffee and a book – a must visit!
