Lovely statues carved from wood commemorate past and present wars. The people left behind are remembered as well. Worth having a look. Originally there was an avenue of honour made of trees, these got diseases so were carved into various war statues. These in turn deteriorated so these new ones were commissioned. There is also a lovely dog statue with the names of dogs served and new trees planted.

Very good place for a BBQ with a giant footy oval, footy club. Nice for cricket too. A nice place for young kids and the wooden sculptures represent how we're here. Diseased trees were cut down and left 150cm left for the sculptures. Like an artist!

Good spot for a picnic. Electric bbq and tables and chairs. Also home of the Greensborough war memorial. Local football and cricket clubs.

Nice small area to sit and enjoy the sunshine. However the tables and chairs are damaged and vandalised. The council appear to show little interest in beautifying Greensborough and surrounds.

This is a very old football ground , grave yard and memorial. The timber statues which line the edges were once trees , they were sculptured be infamous tree artist from Eltham a number of years ago. This is a very historic place when it comes to Greensborough.

Nice park. Dog friendly. Public toilets. Canteen available but possibly only when a game is playing. No kids playground. Few nice statues around to have a look. Cricket batting cages and pitch in the middle of the football oval.

The sculptures are fantastic... intricate, beautiful, mesmerising, just absolutely gorgeous. An amazing talent. The public restrooms leave a lot to be desired... they're pretty gross. Old style. Like 80's / 90's era loos. Yeah, disgusting. Smells, stains, creepy. The whole kit n kaboodle. Great oval for a kick. Playground is lacking. Good place to chill for a short time.

The park itself is pretty basic but the new wood carvings as a tribute to the veterans and serving and returning members of the defence are truly amazing

They cut the trees down due to being diseased or something, but left 5ft and made creepy wood carvings out of them.

Lovely park with brilliant wooden sculptures, commemorating those who went to war so that we could be free, by a world class chainsaw artist.
