I like this shopping mall. It covers virtually everything I need: Brunetti Classico for great coffee and a meal and the buzz of an always busy place; Brunetti Gelateria, yum; Amcal Pharmacy, Australia Post, Brown Gouge Dry Cleaners and Repairs, Aurum Jewellers (yes, I have bought something there), Milligram Stationers and Gifts, Woolworths Supermarket, and the public toilets. There are a couple of other businesses, and of course the carpark. Recommend.

(Translated by Google) Lygon is the place where sooner or later all the Italians of Australia pass. Just sit in one of the rooms and wait .... Very characteristic! (Original) Lygon è il posto dove prima o poi passano tutti gli italiani d' Australia. Basta sedersi in uno dei locali ed aspettare.... Molto caratteristico!

Lots of beggers in and around the entrance demanding money. At the Drummond street entrance there's always some creepy looking people loitering and asking for money. Don't give them money! There's places that can assist with charity. They're spending it at the bottle shop then just keep on begging. But out the front in lygon Street it's all tourists and expensive coffee and cake.

After a couple of years of renovations Lygon Court has been brought into the 21st century bigger and better than ever before not to mention the famous cinema Nova

I shop at lygon court weekly for my groceries but am always absolutely appalled at the trolley situation. They have not put in place an allocated location for trolleys in the car park, so they just get stacked in the disabled car park. It’s despicable. I’m not sure who else to contact so hopefully making a comment here will make a difference.

Great place to visit now that the place looks much better than a decade ago when it was falling apart back then. Remember visitor numbers ensure retail property retains the yeilds.

Woolies is useful but just an ugly Woolies. The stars are the coffee and cakes at Brunetti and Cinema Nova/bar. Fantastic art movies e nice atmosphere. U actually enjoy being in these cinemas.

Convenient grocery shop if attending Nova Cinema, -ask for your discount parking voucher. Treats at Brunetti. Pharmacy, Boutique clothing stores, jewellers, and a hub down back for used for meetings. These are the things I remember there. Clean and feels safe to walk through to underground parking.

Place beautifully done up for Christmas But Parking under is shocking. Machines don't give out tickets only to find out that you pay at exist gate. Very poor signage.👎

I love Lygon Court, it's got Brunetti's Cinema Nova and the most wonderful Newsagency/Gift Shop. It's got a Woolies for all your groceries, a chemist, Aus Post and a wild little collection of other surprising stores. True, it has some empty spaces and could do with a spruce up but it has charm, something that the bigger centres lack. Parking can be hit and miss and it does pay to come early if seeing a movie (just spend the extra time in Brunetti's soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying their sensational coffee and Italian flair.

The annoyed voice over the parking machine asked me where I got the info to use two parking vouchers. There wasn't any info to use only one voucher either. The parking was expensive and packed, making me waste time to find a spot.

parking simple, and the rego recognition really works and easy even for this oldie. The facilities, lift from the carpark, toilets very clean and well signposted. Sam (?) from security provided quick and friendly access to the disabled toilet for my mother (in wheelchair). We were both very impressed and happy with Sam's help - thank you.

I used the woolworths, there was a good selection of gluten free foods and they were easy to find. Quite small, but there are other shops up stairs I didn't go to.

Fabulous atmosphere, casual and buzzing with all kinds of people, families students, great meeting place with Brunetti classic Italian cakes, confectionery and superb coffee. The range and quality is off the scale! Hard not to order seconds! Clean and well stocked rest rooms, easily accessible on street level, no stairs or weird back of the premises access. Super easy access though Swanston St trams culminating at Melbourne University, leave car at home and enjoy strolling in Lygon St, free from parking hassles. Fabulous for your next casual get together with friends. Returning soon. Love it!

Oh ! La Bellezza del Italia alle nostri piedi The BEAUTY OF ITALY on our feet Unbelievable feeling for a new comer When U turn a corner and suddenly u find yourself in Italy . An Italian piazza in her full glory Lots of “local” Italian colour, temperamento , attitude , polite civilised clever and fuoco thinking They all keep a perfect balance between Etiquette and Human warmth . When it comes to Hospitality the Quality is of High end European standards in a more relaxing Aussie influenced “she ‘ll Be Right mate “ , manner that place us all into an Oasis of Cool socialising , human to human respectful exchange of culture , goods and the pleasure of being Alive . I’m not an Italian I use to like visiting any Italian city From South to North and worked on the boats to Greece Use to love drinking a coffe slowly while the locals drink it fast My Greek twist Now , I just go alla Piazza to the Lygon Court .

Lygon court has the essentials (supermarket, liquor, chemist, aus post) however would not recommend if you are looking for a day out shopping. Country Road caters for most, however the remaining 2 clothing vendors are suited for an older crowd. The jeweller is worth a visit but they do have a small range. The stationary shop has some really great items for any of your needs.

  • 3/5 Kathy M. 1 year ago on Google
No issue with Lygon Court itself, but as already commented by “bitch boy” the trolley system is a mess, with literally every disabled card space taken up with trolleys chained together as shoppers get their coin return. Looking for a free space, I returned to the entrance, only to see an able bodied young man grab the space and run inside. We then had to go back down and clear the space of chained together trollies. This is an appalling situation and unless something changes, worthy of an official complaint. I will also be contacting centre management directly. Edit- have just spoken to Centre Management and they will follow up with Security and Woolworths to keep these spaces clear. Much appreciated.

We visited the court only for Brunetti Caffe. Best Caffe on Lygon street and the cakes are amazing. You can also get savoury items, like pizza and sandwiches. The court itself needs some refresher.

Love going to Brunetti's as soon as I step off the plane I head for Carlton. This is such a great place to just have a coffee and a snack. Cake as well. Oh and what beautiful cakes they are. Great place to sit with coffee and plan your stay 💜

This will not affect everyone, but several things indicate the centre management has an attitude that is NOT customer-centred, let alone human- centred. A big one: their security could be better. First of all, they don't keep CCTV footage for very long at all. So if you are assaulted or stolen from, good luck catching the perpetrator. Therefore, the centre is unsafe. if an incident occurs, the centre management seems to do the bare minimum. For example I had something go missing and they failed to tell me they have a camera OUTSIDE the building on Drummond St. This shows lack of care for the customer. On a similar note: its not ethical to only have WARM WATER in the toilets. This is what businesses do to FORCE people to buy a drink in the centre. But its ANTI-HUMAN. Its NOT what we expect in a friendly city like MELBOURNE. What if someone has a health condition and needs water urgently? Its cruel to make them drink warm water. Its a petty act of b*st**dry and with the other matters above all-round indicates a centre mgmt with a bad attitude. Maybe the centre management would be better off running an outlet in selfish, dog-eat-dog Sydney?

It cost's me $120.00 to get to lygon Street and home again. The Service I receive from my doctor is ABOVE STANDARD . I am usually seen reasonably promptly although I have been waiting more than 2 up to 4 hours . I'm Not patient so I try to get first or close to first appointment that way I don't usually wait more than an hour .

It is what it is - a small, overpriced, shopping centre with a cinema (Nova). Also a lot of the people are so affluent as to be standoffish and rude. Nice food and ice cream if you can afford it. I personally can't, but I DO know how to get what I want/need most of the time...
