It's overall not bad for what you get, the chicken is generally pretty good but not always that crispy and succulent, and it's a little bit on the expensive side plus you can probably find better Korean kitchen elsewhere.

I ordered chilli mayo fries and payed extra for extra mayo as its me favourite thing to eat from nene chicken and when i get my order the sauce was very less not even the normal amount and they charge me for extra also. more ridiculous thing was they gave me old cold fries not even a single potato fry was hot. Plz don’t waste your money ordering there and i am not never going back at there restaurant

I ordered garlic soy chicken for takeaway and i was expecting to have it tossed with chicken but to my surprise, i was given a side of raw garlic with soy in it and just the fried chicken. I’ve had gami’s and other korean fried chicken but this is by far the worse and will never order from here again. Eating it felt like chewing raw garlic.

Waited 30 minutes for a Korean hotdog that wasn’t even hot. Really long wait time. Only 2 staff in the kitchen for a long line of people. Hire more staff 👍 hope the owner doesn’t get angry at the staff for this review, it’s not their fault.

My order was taken by a cute Vietnamese girl. She was very helpful when I asked about the difference between flavours. The chicken was very crispy and juicy. Highly recommend the snowing cheese and mala flavour. Customer service is 10 out of 10.

One of the best Korean fried chicken with a light and crispy texture in Melbourne CBD comes with different sauces to choose from for fried chicken. The staff is very friendly, and my order was ready on time.

The food is delicious, I wait for 20 minutes. The price was good. They don't have many tables so it's better to pick up the order and eat on the third floor where there are more tables. I don't usually eat spicy so for me the spicy was perfect.

The service can be slow depending on the time you are there but the food is better here. I have been to other branches of Nene chicken and I have had undercooked chicken or cold chicken before so this one in Melbourne Central definitely has consistency with the taste and their cooking standards. I like ordering Dorisek set for lunch and add chips or sometimes coleslaw. If it's takeaway for dinner, I generally like the 8 piece chicken with half and half flavour.

I tried this place out since I was craving for some Korean Fried Chicken. The chicken took a while to come out. We got the boneless one and the chicken were cut into small pieces. The chicken wasn’t very crispy. It was a little dull. The flavors were okay tho. But I was expecting the spicy one to taste like gochujang but it didn’t so that was a let down. The stall itself was in a small laneway so it’s also not a very good place to eat at. Overall, it was just ok.

We ordered boneless snow cheese swichy , the portion and price isn’t matching at all. Unreasonable price for that amount. Taste was just average.

The ordering process was chaotic, people turned to jump the queue even though you are the first one in the line. It happened here couple times with me and the staff also seems got no idea even though he saw me waiting there for 5 mins，instead he went to serve a man who cut in my line. By the end I have to speak out for myself and got no apologies from the staff. Very poor service and will never come back again. I believe other nene chicken got better attitude and will be more orderly.

I have ordered snack pack at 5.15 pm. but I was waiting until 5.45 pm. and some have 2 customers come after me got order first. Then I asked the cashier about my order but him offer me to refund, no say sorry, no compensation and gave me a refund for 1 snack pack for 30mins waiting. Wouldn’t come back.

We were in a rush, the place wasnt even that crowded. We waited right in front of the cashier. She gave us that electronic ringer thats supposed to call us when its done. But the cashier didnt call us. We waited way longer than we are supposed to

Friday night, I have ordered chicken 18 pc at 6.40 pm and pick up at 6.55 but I was waiting till 7.30pm so that mean 50 minutes, I was standing wait my order only 18 pc and some guest come after me got order first ??? I don’t know why in the kitchen BOH have 2 people could not handle my order. I’m very disappointed and the receipt show 7.00 pm pick up, please don’t lie.

It's my first time to have to wait over 45 mins for an order. The kitchen's productivity simply cannot keep up with the incoming orders and they not attempted to time food preparation for orders that has a few items.

Pretty good, I feel like the servings have gotten smaller and more expensive since the last time I've been. Was a bit strange to get bits of potato mixed in with our chicken wings. Overall was a good time

I love Nene Chicken, I used to be a big fan of KFC but ever since I first tried NeNe Chicken! It is so much better than KFC, I have been addicted ever since I first tried it, its absolutely delicious! I recommend anyone who likes fried chicken covered in the sauce of your choice from mild to spicy or even just lemmon grass flavoured sauce which is also quite nice! But I love really spicy so I always order the hottest spicy sauce! NeNe chicken beats KFC by a long shot! NeNe Chicken is a Korean chain of fast food but they are opening more and more stores all the time generally in most shopping centre food courts so if you have the choice of McDonalds which in my opinion is disgusting or red rooster or KFC or NeNe Chicken I highly recommend you try the NeNe Chicken, you wont be disappointed!

Taste is fine but our chicken was overcook. Nothing special. Plus, you have to pay extra $3 to have your chicken extra cheesy.

Chicken was raw and staff was rude. I was willing to pay extra for swicy flavour but he kept saying it is not in the deal. Only if I had time remaining in my break, would’ve taken this uncooked meal back to them 👎

I wouldn’t recommend anyone having it here. The order is very slow and the staffs are very irresponsible. They gave and make order for the one who arrived later than me. I waited 20mn for just 18pcs of wings. By the time my order was package and done, it was already cold. My bet is the staff is very underpaid. No wonder the service is pretty bad.👎👎

Seriously please stop using doordash as your food delivery defaults. They provide fake promo which only shown discounted price on apps, but claim full amount from your bank card. And they have no enough man to delivery my order which just 200 meter away from your shop, left my food cold for one hours then cancel it with 2 dollar service charge. I get no food, starving for an hours, and get no refund with 2 dollar service charge deduct. Good job !

I had take away today of 10 pieces of freaking hot and kimchi burger, burger was okay but my fried chicken was off , the taste was so bland and I could feel the chicken was old , that weird taste I had when I chew it,,,just give us good food what we pay for🤬🤬

Friendly service, wings and drums were tasty. I was hoping to try the snowing cheese flavour as i've been trying to get them for a while now but they are still sold out. Luckily the bulgogi flavour that the staff recommended still tasted yum. Hope they can restock their flavours soon.

Worst customer service we ordered the spicy chicken but they gave me the sweet one and when we said we didn’t order that can we have the spicy one they didn’t agree.. you guys really need to learn about the customer satisfaction, the lady who is in the front of the house i guess she need to take some English class inorder to understand and communicate with the customer or else they just open the shop for theirs people only.

Very bad experience and bad customer service. We were in a group and order the spicy chicken but they gave us sweet chicken and we asked to change for it but they denied it.Not only FOH but Chef was also rude. I think the FOH must need to go for English practice.
