I am changing my star rating from a 5, to a 2. Dr Carolyn Sebastian is a fantastic doctor, she deserves a star rating of 5. For Dr Toh, I would rate less than 1 star. If I am sick with a chest infection, severely lethargic and coughing up phlegm, paying $95 for an appointment to be told to “gargle salt water” is not acceptable. Every other doctor I have been to in the past for the same symptoms has prescribed medication when needed. In this situation, it was needed otherwise I would not have wasted my time nor money making an appointment. There are other things I would like to add to this, that I would like to discuss privately. Unprofessional and non-empathic.

Doctor was friendly and efficient. The receptionists were both very cold (to me in particular - emphatise that the system is overwhelmed but they were friendly with other patients). I only "bothered" them when arriving and before leaving (as the doctor said to "show your Medicare card to the receptionist"), so I asked? One of them looked very annoyed and said "your name?" and the other one (once again) spoke to me while looking at the computer screen and said they didn't need anything from me. While the doctor itself was fine, it wasn't a pleasant visit and I am not sure of the basis of the discrimination...but probably my first and last visit.

I booked an appointment for a dive medical. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the clinic. Emily and Gayani were very friendly (patient-centred care). The doctor was excellent. However, I was a bit disappointed with the miscommunication that happened with the receptionist about the appointment fees. I understand it is quite common and natural because of the fast-paced environment, but I would suggest working on this to improve the patient experience.

Highly recommended, a call at 8:30 a.m. and my wife and I already had an appointment at 12 p.m. on the same day. The staff on the phone and at the reception were very friendly. After a short wait we were already at the doctor, Dr. Carolyn Sebastian, who was also very friendly and absolutely convinced us with her quick, competent diagnosis. It couldn't be better. Many thanks to the entire team and recommendation to future patients.

Very quick in handling patients, and very reassuring too. My GP (Dr. Vaz) immediately put me at ease and gave options for possible solutions. She wasn't rushing in addressing my concerns as well, which is a major plus. Overall a very recommended clinic.

Stay away from Dr Mavis，trust me she is really impatient and indifferent to your sickness. She does not treat the patient well with trust and respect. Always be ready to pay for the longer appointment without solving anything… Never step back again.I would give 0 if I could

I went to Era Health for Dr Mavis and this was a great experience for honesty But i need a physiotherapist so i book with Ann and that was much worst i paid $119 for nothing She told the pain i have is because one leg is shorter than the other one and after going for two physiotherapist they told me what I have is patellofermoral !!!!! I asked her if I can do any exercises and her answer is No She wrote me that I need dry needling and ultrasound… Another thing I asked her to wrote for me a letter for my insurance company and she lets the receptionist charge me $25 extra for a lettttttter that should be given because am already paid $119. After an argument she refunded the $25 which is she must do . It’s literally dose not make sense for paying an wxtra amount for a letter when you already pay $119 which was for nothing The problem is not about the $25 is about paying $119 for a waste of time and wrong consult!!! 2 physiotherapist where shocked after I showed them what have been written for me Soo to be honest ( Dr mavis & phlebotomist ) more than great But from my point of view Ann she is just want to make me a regular visitor to the clinic !!!! She make me depressed like am having a chronic pain and not able to do any workout whereas The other two told me the opposite literally

Dr sebastian is a very kind and professional doctor. She identified the root cause of my health condition and started the treatment quickly. I recommend Dr Sebastian to everyone. Overall superb experience.

I've been both a temp staff member and a patient at Era Health. Their care is impeccable and always professional. It truly is a one-stop shop. They look after you from head-to-toe. (I would know because I've utilised their dental and podiatry services!) Even their pfizer vaccination roll-out was seamless and efficient. Well done, Era Health.

Have seen Dr Mavis Vaz twice now for my almost 1 year old, and been exceptionally happy. Will likely make this my regular gp, as ours is semi retiring and we haven't been happy with the replacement. Dr Vaz seems very knowledgeable, has a warm bedside manner, is thorough yet straight to the point.

Very disappointing experience, they messed up my prescription twice and the doctor who I saw has since left so they wanted me to book and pay for another appointment just to chat with them. The receptionist was lovely but wasn’t able to help much.

I recently attended the Melbourne CBD based clinic as a requirement for a job medical. The practice was easy to find and the consultation and treatment rooms were nice and fit for purpose. The staff were courteous and professional and made me welcome and feel at ease during the 3 hours I was there.

All the staff were so considerate of my problems and addressed my concerns immediately. I could not have asked for a better experience at a GP clinic. I booked super last minute and was anxious they wouldn't be able to help but they did and I will never forget them for it. Words cannot express how grateful I am for this place and I highly recommend!!!!

Last week I was suffering from a fever and I searched for a general practitioner near me. One of my office colleagues recommended this place. The doctor was experienced and friendly. I got relief from the fever within 2 days. Great doctor!

My husband came here for a dive medical. Both the nurse and doctor were great- very friendly and professional. However, I would not recommend to come here if you have another option - the receptionist was incredibly rude and unprofessional. In any health care establishment is it never acceptable to speak to a patient in such a disrespectful and condescending manner. Would not recommend.

I've been going to Era Health for around 5 years. This is a brilliant medical service with lovely and caring reception staff, two outstanding onsite nurses and skilled doctors who consistently operate from a model of patient care and responsibility. Even when not working in the city (so conveniently located just over Queen St in Bourke St), I will go always ensure I go to Era Health and can't see that changing any time soon!
