Good and prompt service. Food was tasty and offered a wide variety of choices. Had the steam crab with glutinous rice. Amazing!! This dish had to be pre-ordered a day in advance. An amazing find in a small suburb!! Well done!!

High quality food. Always the freshest ingredients. I have ordered here 4 times now over the past few months and have seen consistent, high quality food. The beauty of this place is that if you order a dish such as beef (in my case, beef & black bean), it is packed full of beef, unlike too many other places that skimp. I would highly recommend Red House. Just great quality food at fair and reasonable price. If you value quality, you won't be disappointed.

Red House Asian Kitchen Visited on 22/8/2022 It has been quite a while I come to this restaurant. It was when my wife and I took my mother-in-law who had to rely on a wheelchair. The restaurant has easy access via a ramp to the front door. The ramp needs a new coat of non-slip paint or pebble-mix to ensure the surface is rough and provides some grip for those with walking difficulty. We have a big crowd for the evening, a mixture of young adults and very old. There are Aussies, as well as Asians. The best of all the dishes is the prawns. However, it is definitely NOT how Oak Flaked Prawns. The king prawns are large, and the batter is very crispy and fried to golden. Minced String Beans is my late MIL's favourite dish. It is supposed to complement with pickled olive leaves. I suggest that the restaurant should be a bit more generous with the olive leaves. Other dishes pass my taste test, except the Roast Duck. The duck has very nice, reddy colour, meaty, but lack flavour. Duck has very different texture than chicken, but the duck seems to take on that of a chicken. I do not like the liquid / juice under the meat. It is not the original juice from the duck, and when the duck skin comes in contact with the liquid, the skin turns soggy.

Good to see that this place is always fully packed! Being malaysian, the food is the closest thing I can get Malaysian Chinese cuisines outside of Malaysia. and I enjoy it very much. Famous duck never disappoints - I also enjoyed their sweet and sour pork (pecking style) and salted egg fried chicken ribs 😋 they also provide a generous amount of prawn crackers if you ask for it!

Don't be fooled by the exterior of this restaurant. It may not look very exciting from the outside but it is what's inside that counts. Upon arriving, we were very warmly welcomed. We were seated quickly and given some prawn crackers. We quickly ordered a number of our favourite dishes. They didn't take long to come and they were absolutely delicious. Their prices are generally reasonable and the serving portion is generous. As we finished our dinner, we were given some freshly cut oranges and red bean soup as dessert. Throughout the evening, the staff checked on us to make sure everything was in order. It was a good dining experience, great service, delicious Cantonese dishes, all at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Friendly service tasty food, great prices. Just what you expect on traditional canto restaurants. Pricing is quite decent and their roast meat selection is quite extensive and not bad too. My personal favourite and my fams as well will be the roast duck. Dine in normally quite busy during dinner/lunch especially weekend.

Our go-to Chinese restaurant for a fuss-free, fast and SUPER DELICIOUS food. We have frequently had takeaway and dined in. It gets very busy so order ahead and make a booking especially for larger groups and peak times. We have taken family here and everyone has loved it! Our favourites are the roast duck, salted egg chicken ribs, mud crab noodles and the seafood hot pot. Prices are reasonable and serving sizes are generous.

Very value for money food. Large portion but much cheaper than many places. The beef bee hoon was excellent. Fried rice was tasty. But char kway teoh was disappointing. Better to leave that to the Malaysians to fry.

Well, this is a great find. Don't let the exterior deter you from checking it out. The service was attentive ad quick. The dishes we had were really nice, and we intend on returning to try more items from the menu.. 2 people entree's mains and drinks $80 very good value.

Made a booking days ahead of time as we assumed it would get busy, food was great, massive servings and really tasty. The service was probably the worst I’ve received. Consistently coming over asking if we were done even though people were still eating and drink and trying to take food and wine away even though they weren’t done and then having to tell them to leave it as they kept hassling us and we hadn’t even been there for an hour after ordering 5 dishes and a bottle of wine. Eventually they told us they needed the table trying to force us to take our open bottle of wine as an “away bottle” and only then had it struck an hours time since us being there. We did everything right, we booked, we arrived on time and we weren’t there for very long at all and I didn’t even get to let the food settle as they were pushing us out the door. Unfortunate considering the food was tasty.

We came as a party of four. We were greeted lovely smiles. We bought our own wine only because I was gifted a few. They were completely accodating with this. The service was a1. The food was amazing 👏. Customer service was fantastic and attentive even though they were getting very busy. Got to take home our leftovers which for us was great. I have worked in hospitality for 24 years. Outstanding everyone thank you.

Very busy during lunch time. Few parking spots available. Staff are welcoming and will help you to find a table. Plenty of options available especially spicy ones. They trying to give traditional Chinese restaurant feeling. You may have hot tea by the side of the table. Foods are tasty. Nice experience.

Food items reasonably priced. Good variety of tasty Cantonese dishes. Quite ideal for family get together. Our family of 6 adults and 3 kids were there to celebrate my birthday. Disappointed that long life noodles were not on the menu that day. Will try their take away which is also reasonably priced.

Delicious meal all the time. Reasonable price, good portion. They give free prawn cracker, desert (Tong Sui) and fruits. There are parking on site.

It had your typical Chinese restaurant atmosphere. But you know its authentic when the atmosphere is like that, filled with asians, noisy. The food was exceptional! I couldn't find any fault in it. I so want to go back there again. The staff treated us like family while providing prompt service.

We ordered the beef noodles and the 'fried rice'. The beef noodles were allegedly decent. The fried rice was nothing more than white rice with a bit of stuff in there. Stuff included a bit of shrimp, some bbq pork and some bits of egg. The rice is flavourless, and colourless. This is quintessentially the most atrocious fried rice I have ever eaten in Australia. Even my little girl looked at me and went, there's nothing in my rice. The only reason I'm giving one star is because my wife thinks the beef noodles were okay.

If you're after HK-style roast meats, look no further. Try the roast duck and give this review a 👍 if you agree!

Amazing seafood, great BBQ meats as well! Staff are amazing, especially the older gentleman who sang to us throughout the night!
