Each cinema has recliner leather seats, Xtreme screen room is absolutely amazing with bigger recliners, bigger screen and better sound. Would be nice if they made the popcorn in front of everyone at the candy bar because people seem to think they don't make it fresh as it's made in the back room, still good popcorn though. Best cinema in the Western suburbs.

Always love coming here, it's our go to spot. On this particular occasion I was a bit of a dofus and failed to check the date of the movie. Realising my mistake on arrival, Christian, was the young gentleman who assisted me and he was so understanding and patient with me and did everything in his power to correct my error. Thank you Christian, managers and staff for all being so awesome. A forever loyal member!

Really great movie experience and the reclining chairs are awesome. They do gradually de-recline as you sit there so you need to reset. I would have gone 5 stars except their toilets are the second most foulest smelling toilets I’ve ever been in. For such a top class fasciitis this hasn’t change.

Had a really nice experience here, probably the best $10 movie ticket you can get anywhere. Huge + comfy electric recliner leather seats. Screen + sounds are good. Not crowded at all. Will definitely come back with family for more.

As much as I like the venue. It has received a low rating from me as the staff do not pull up parents who took there 6 year old kids to see Expend4bles which is MA15+. Was mortified that they let parents bring children into this film rating. It is a very graphic and violent movie. This is why we have rating system. Staff should get smack over the head and spoken to for not doing their jobs correctly.

Very good. I love coming to hoyts because of the comfy seats and you can see the screen even if a 8ft tall person is sitting in front of you, just in the standard cinema. I also loved the popcorn and it was convenient that there was a Greek restaurant right next to it. I watched Black Adam and it was amazing.

Nice, clean cinema with friendly staff. The seats are all plush with motorised recline features (although my seat's footrest did gradually fall so I had to keep pressing the button to move it up again throughout the movie). Sound quality was good and the seating area isn't too massive so the crowds aren't too bad. A good cinema overall, just be aware that conversation stand prices are astronomical. A popcorn and 2 drinks which you can buy at a supermarket for under $10 will run you at least $30 here.

The cinema itself is pretty good. Though staff are inconsistent and the audiences are absolutely disgraceful. I will be avoiding any Hoytz venue in the future since they all seem to attract people who just want to talk or watch videos on their phones. A few weeks ago we saw some teenagers get kicked out because of their behaviour, but today after checking on the disruptive people (multiple groups of both teens and adults) once, staff did nothing. As I said, they're inconsistent. We also went to the counter with our pre-purchased tickets and were told to just get it scanned as we go through. As we did that, we were told we had to go to the counter to purchase 3D glasses. We had already bought them (the tickets said so), but this guy wasn't going to give us any until another staff member stepped in, overhearing us saying what we'd been told by the girl at the counter. It'd be great if they were all on the same page. Or better yet, if they didn't make people pay for 3D glasses on top of the ticket. Sure, the seats are comfy, the screen is great, and the audio is mixed well, but the price is just not worth missing the movie due to constantly having to shush people and leave to find a staff member to deal with (or not deal with) the horrible people who frequent the place

Amazing experience chairs recline and are so comfortable. Do your food order and pick it up when you get there. Staff were great. Only cost us $9.50 each as we are over 60 such better value than Gold Class

We as a family have been going to Hoyts for a very long time and no one has ever said it was a bad experience. The recliner seats are very cosy and comfy. Xtreme screen is absolutely amazing with bigger recliners, bigger screen and better sound. The customer service is great. I honestly have nothing bad to say about Hoyts Watergardens. Excellent movie experience.

Updated review Thursday 8th February 2024: watched The Dry 2: Force of Nature was an enjoyable film, a local film. 5 stars, despite what anyone else tells you and the Cinema was excellent, clean, efficient, friendly staff as always. And the movie showing at night (I took the 9:15pm session made the atmosphere that much more thrilling for the type of movie it was. You'll watch The Dry 2 and enjoy it as I did, especially at night. Older review December 2023: I really enjoyed the 20th anniversary evening-night screening of Love Actually (2003 film). I was especially intrigued by seeing, unexpectedly to my eyes, the Anyone but You (late December 2023 release) trailer. I'd been trying to avoid the trailer, yet it's made me even more thrilled for the upcoming. Both films certainly caught my eye and I really enjoyed the showing and the showing still to show since that Anyone but You romantic-comedy is released Boxing Day. Anyways, peace 👀☮️✌🏻🙂😋😛 and here's my photo enjoying the 20th Anniversary showing before it started. And the Pepsi drink was delicious. And thank you. 🙂😋👀 2023 photo and 2024 photo selfies before each movie 🤳 👀

Tickets online so easy, requested drinks and popcorn prepared when parking car, arrived at cinema and refreshments ready. Walked straight in and enjoyed movie in the electric reclining chair.

They really need to replace the seats. Every time I go there, the seats don't stay in the reclined position. I will not be wasting my money on them again.

Haven't been to this cinema since before covid and I love that every cinema chair is now a recliner!!!! My partner and I went and seen Bob Marley: One Love. Love that you can get free popcorn refills with a membership but disappointed you can no longer get banana choc tops

I've been to Hoyts watergardens twice on the roll. First time Friday night service was good and staff was friendly. Pop corn was fresh and tasty. regular combo $28.50, large drink by it self $10 they should have free refill option. Place was tidy. Movie on the night was going good until half way thru movie volume was turn down. Second time Saturday night service was good. Pop corn was too salty. On hallway was not tidy alot of popcorn spill over waiting chairs & floor outside each cinema rooms. Rubbish bins overflow and not empty yet. No staff around only time see staff is when movie is finished and go clean up cinema but not outside hallway. Over all 6/10.

Not impressed. Movies are becoming important to my toddler. I attended this cinema twice in two weeks over Christmas. As a senior, discounts normally apply. Not so here. Children’s movies advertised often on TV are now high on the wish list. Hoyts played them, but didn’t show these movies were only EXtreme class on website (which my son checked ) before I went. Both times I was caught out paying $54 for 2 tickets plus small popcorn box. No discount for this class, no other option. Midweek, 2.15 pm 4 others in the theatre. Staff were polite, but not helpful or informative , offhand when I questioned the price. The place is semi dark, and my request to show me the right theatre was a wave of the arm to the right of the hallway. As a ticket collector he was disinterested, not fit for purpose. Not sure I’ll ever return there. My grandchild loved the movie.

Without a doubt the worst cinema i have been to recently. No one attending to guests in the foyer, we walked in and couldn’t find anyone to show our online tickets. Walked into the movie with 10 mins to start to find a mess, then we got asked to leave while they did a quick clean and we were allowed to go back in just as the screen turned on with a massive line to get back in. Seats were still in bad condition, felt disgusting to sit down. Overall presentation of the whole cinema is disappointing. Definitely wont be back here again. Do yourselves a favour and book somewhere else.

It's a great cinema comfy recliner chairs.. it was rather busy when I went so ordering drinks and food took close to 10min. which was crazy considering that the Popcorn was not freshly popped. it came in what looked like in big, huge plastic bags already made. And you can tell they were as fresh tasting as if they were freshly popped. Other than that, staff are lovely, and the venue is clean, and the sound and screens are WOW 👌

Went and saw The boogeyman at 10:10 pm on a Monday. Popcorn was hot and fresh. The chairs were recliners so they were super comfortable. We didn’t get let into the cinema until 10:14 so we missed a couple minutes of previews. (I believe staff were still cleaning the cinema) Went and saw The flash on the xtreme screen. Recliners were the comfiest I’ve ever sat on. Was also let into the cinema on time. Definitely a better experience with the xtreme screen.

Hoyts Watergardens is an outstanding cinema experience! The screens are top-notch, and the sound quality is impeccable. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable movie-going experience. The seating is comfortable, and the overall ambiance is excellent. I highly recommend Hoyts Watergardens for a fantastic time at the movies.

With the price of Hoyts, it’s disappointing to have stale popcorn and watery drinks all the time. Your basically paying to have a recliner. Popcorn should be fresh and cooked regularly especially for the price. They cook a massive batch in the morning and then it sits on a troth. It’s more fresh in the evening when it’s busy. Service is always good, but disappointing quality for what you pay. Not all the recliners work well, or they go down after some time and don’t stay held.

The cinema's are usually always clean. I have never had an issue. The service is usually fast at the counter. They have a few ges too so waiting isn't usually boring.

At almost $25 a ticket x 4… spending $100 to see a movie for a family of 4 is a lot of money so you want to be able to enjoy the movie. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and there was only 2 young kids serving behind the counter…in the actual cinema while watching the movie, we had to put up with a bunch of teenagers talking throughout the movie and using their phones. At no point did any staff members walk into the cinema to check on things, what happened to this service? I remember going to the movies as a kid, a staff member would come into the cinema numerous times throughout the movie with a torch to check on things. Sadly this doesn’t happen anymore, probably because the place is understaffed! Just another place lacking customer service these days. Next time I will wait to purchase the movie on prime rather than paying $100 to have a frustrating experience.

The last movie we saw on the weekend was 5/5 no complaints. Previously this year the cinema has had a horrible odour and dirty seats etc. Bit mostly it's great, definitely beats reading cinemas.

Enjoyed watching a movie in the xtreme screen cinema. Recliner seats are so comfy and liked the extra space and side table. Staff were friendly and as always popcorn was yummy. Was nice to be able to have a gin and tonic with it.

Ordered my tickets and eats online and just collected snacks when I arrived. Good venue, good location, good snacks. Only criticism is that there doesn't seem to be enough staff at times and I get it, Covid and morning movie sessions etc but, it's still a bit of a wait.

Went and watched Top gun omg best movie ever. I haven't been to the cinemas in a long time and wow was I impressed when walking into the cinema it was done up and the seats are so comfy and even recline and the arm space is on point I absolutely loved it and would have been comfy falling asleep if the movie had been boring 😂 but it was top gun so its obvious that was not going to be at all boring.

Watched Black Adam with Xtreme, the spacing and separation between seats adds a sense of privacy. The fact that these are recliners makes it so much more at home and cosy. This is my favourite cinema to go to because decent restaurants are located near within walking distance. I guess my only suggestion is for the confectionery and drinks staff to service people with a smile and not a look as though they don't want to be there, I guess this is probably just youths not really giving a damn about how contagious a smile truly is. Overall 9/10

Nice experience. Recently watched Avatar in 3D. Recliner made your overall experience memorable. Nice and clean. Good sound and pic quality. Should try, won't be disappointed. Good luck. Keep it up.

Although Xtremescreen price is a little higher than compared to a standard ticket price but well worth the extra couple of dollars if you can afford it for the larger screen and super comfy electric recliner armchair. Excellent movie experience

After a number of poor experiences, it would be amiss of me to not post this review. Cynthia (venue manager) has gone above and beyond, and rather than sweep issues under the rug, has acknowledged the issues, sympathised, and tried to rectify the issues as much as possible. I will say, this is a making of a great Manager. Yesterday, we attended the venue and had an excellent experience with a huge thumbs up for the manager on staff (sorry I forgot your name). Thankyou guys so much....that is how you turn a negative into repeat customers 👊👊👍

Watched Lyle Lyle crocodile. Good seating. Toilets were relatively clean. Popcorn and drinks were as usual pricey. Friendly staff.

It’s an amazing place to watch movie We watched Avatar in 3D We really enjoyed it The area is a very big They have some good options for food The popcorn was nice too Had some collection of beer Lots of parking but be careful of not missing the parking points So I warn you to tag the parking points Try eating some food before 8 or-else you might not be able to get much around You can travel to sunshine which is close too

Probably 4.5 stars We watched the Elvis movie on the Extreme Screen here and had a great experience. The cinema was clean, the sound was excellent and the reclining seats were comfortable and generously sized. Made it feel like the Village Gold Class equivalent, minus the seat service.

  • 5/5 Mekiuto 10 months ago on Google
It's a very nice cinema. First off, the seats are very comfortable and it's retractable aswell. It also does not showcase many ads at the start of their films and the variety of smaller shops you can find inside are great. Furthermore it has a range of films from many cultures. Would recommend

  • 2/5 Chelsea B. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely cinema and the recliners are very comfortable but the cinemas are a mess. Bin is overflowing and there’s crumbs all over the seats and floor. Clearly not cleaned between sessions.
