I am appalled by the way I was treated by Dr Oveisi. I told him I wanted to see a psychologist to work through my issues, but he kept insisting on medicating me with Valium. I told him I don't like taking medication due to my anxiety, but he just kept responding with 'That's my opinion' Absolutely concerning behaviour by a person in the medical profession. But hey, if anybody wants Valium, I suppose he's the doctor you go to.

To this amazing amazing professional GP---Dr Bridget Lawler. I had appointment with this lovely lady yesterday about mental health , the whole time during the conversation she was being extremely patient , kind and empathy , and that was what I needed the most. She is the best doctor that I ever met in my life .

I rated the reception 4 stars but 0 start for Dr Dev Hewawithana. I first time visited this clinic as I felt unwell with sore throat although I had no covid. I told the doctor that I felt cold and sometimes hot since 2 days ago, please check my temperature, I need him to give me some prescription, but he did not listen to me did not check anything. He said I can buy some thing at the chemist, no need a prescription.

Both the government and my doctor said I needed an hour long appointment for my assessment, so I called reception to book one as I couldn't figure out how to do it on the app. Reception knows better than both, though, and booked me for 15 minutes. Gee, thanks, I really want to starve to death over xmas because reception decided to scam a few extra medicare dollars out of the government! I'd understand if I was a brand new, first time patient, but I've been coming here for over six months and I'm not even a new patient to the doctor I booked.

This is a great medical centre. The reception team are welcoming and helpful and the doctor's are thorough, thoughtful, honest and amazing medical professionals. I have been to many other GP's but this is probably one of the best that i have been to in over 10yrs.

We have been coming here for over 20years and my husband since they opened almost 40 years ago. The reception staff is exceptional always helpful, understanding and kind. I just wish other places would have as dedicated people at the reception at this place. I wish I could give them more stars. Love the doctors, nurses and allied health as well. All under one roof.

I had my annual bloods and urine tests done as well as a ultrasound . As soon as Dr Emily received them she called me personally to say that she had received them and all came back with great results. This is the first time that I have been called up personally from a doctor regarding tests results. Each time I have contacted the clinic they have gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Always pleasant and courteous on the phone.

Experience with Josie , Diabetic Educator. She’s very thorough and committed to help patients. The thing that I like most is she answers and all my queries and make sure I understand. She encouraged me to write my concerns so we can go through it in our next meeting.

I just moved to Cairnlea and was trying to find a new clinic. When I called to.make an appointment the receptionist was so nice and friendly The staff are so friendly. The Doctor I saw she was awesome. When I walked in I could feel positive vibes. Definitely my new clinic from now on. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Moved to the area 12 months ago and I'm so grateful I found this clinic. I've never met such a wonderful and caring Dr other than Dr Aizah Tassadaq. She goes the extra mile and genuinely cares for her patients, I feel blessed to have met her , never in my life have I met a doctor who has given me time and actually cared about my health.

Even with a computer break down staff were pleasant and efficient. Customer service is excellent. My first time seeing Dr Ishmael and was very pleased. So caring and thorough.

Best medical center ever. Exceptional reception team. Dr Yadanar Thwe is the best doctor ever, she took good care of me for over 3 years, I am deeply saddened that she has left, I’m not sure if any doctor can replace and match her care and standards. Dr Ann Salam is also kind and helpful.

A few years ago this was one of the best clinics in Melbourne , since theyve gotten new receptionists their service is not so great and I would recommend trying somewhere else before you waste your time here.

Shocking experience. GP dr tree was useless, wouldn't find out who to call about confirming COVID 19 test, completely wasting my time on top of refusing to give me regular medication that I rely on because she isn't my regular doctor. I can't see my regular doctor until 2.5 weeks as he is on holiday

Quick, efficient and great place to get a Pfizer COVID vaccine. Much better than the larger hubs/hospitals as less of a queue. Good job team!

Received my covid-19 vaccines here. The process was smooth and well managed. The actual clinic itself feels a bit small, and they tried to social distance the chairs by keeping them apart, but still, with the doctors and nurses and clients walking by, overall it still felt small and crammed. Otherwise everything else was good. Doctor was surprisingly friendly, but I forgot his name.

The practise is very well run, most appointments are on time. The reception staff are really helpful and the doctors are amazing. The nursing staff are really good as well. I would recommend this centre to everyone.

This has been our local GP for over 40 years. Dr Ng is the most amazing Dr, always happy and friendly. Along with the rest of the team, especially the front office girls always very welcoming and professional, and hard-working, keep up the great work.

I met the dietician Ms Nalani Jethani and she was amazing. She gave me easy commonsense healthy food options that I can’t wait to try. I came away knowing more about the good food options I should be choosing and the importance of menu planning which I have already implemented. I highly recommend seeing Nalani Jethani to get your dietary intake back on track. I later saw Dr Richard McGlynn for physiotherapy. Again he too was amazing and he empowered me with commonsense easy to work on exercises for my injury and situation. And again I have implemented those exercises into my daily routine. He too was easy to talk to and very professional. He knew his stuff and communicated it to me in easy to understand language that I could relate to. I highly recommend seeing Dr Richard McGlynn for all your physio needs. An excellent team, make an appointment today :)

The doctors here refused to see patients unless they have low risk problems. Even though my hubby tested negative for COVID. They refused to see him because he had a cough which was upsetting his asthma. Other reviewers seem to be saying the same thing. My toddler also was refused to be seen as well because he had a mild food reaction nothing anaphylactic. They told us to go to the emergency. And the hospital said these conditions could be treated by a GP. We went to another medical clinic and they happily took us in. Doctors here are paranoid to the max.

The staff are mostly all pleasant to deal with. Dr Touraj who looks after my mum is sympathetic and his patience with my elderly mum is much appreciated. Practice Manager Namarata and Dr Thura were helpful and professional in resolving a misunderstanding and acted promptly in rectifying it. Thank you kindly to you both.

Lovely staff the ladies always greet you with a smile and very friendly and helpful. Also we have great doctors and medical staff from physio,podiatrist, dentist, nurses and Melbourne pathology.

Doctor won’t see me in person because I have a cough but he couldn’t diagnose me over the phone even though I am isolating and have had a negative Covid test so I can’t see him about my chest infection until I’m actually recovered from it does not make sense, very disappointed about the health care.

Yes I must say the staff are very friendly and happy. This is very important as there are the first once to see. There never rude you ask them a question and they reply bck and say your welcome by your name..... As for the doctor I have seen for the first time she was very helpful to me greatly appreciate 🙏..

Terrible experience denied me talking to doctor on phone let alone attending to see a doctor. To think doctors take an oath when finishing their doctorate. Discussing result. I was appalled and left stranded.

Lovely kind and caring reception staff and Dr Ng is the best doctor in Deer Park. The experience on this visit for the paediatric Pfizer vaccine was not great though. Appointment was for 4pm but had to wait for over an hour to see the nurse. Staff are all great and usually feel very happy with covid protocols at the centre.

I recently moved to the area and read reviews of all the local clinics, this one seemed the best and I can see why. The doctors have been mostly on time and definitely show concern for their patients (i have seen 3 doctors here). I have no problem wearing a mask as much as I prefer not to, but I find they push way too hard on this both at the desk and in the doctors office. I am obese and sometimes have breathing problems requiring a ventolin, they keep telling me to wear the mask properly, this is the way I have been wearing it for 2 years. I wanted my partner to come here as we both have had trouble finding a doctor who shows good care and listens to their patients, i went for a checkup and the doctor did not allow her to come to the room with me due to “stopping the spread”, she was eventually allowed to come in reluctantly. Either there is an agenda at play here or this clinic has a problem with covid positive people turning up way too often. I feel the latter is less likely nowadays especially given the question is asked before each booking is made in person or online. I really don’t feel that I need to justify myself on the mask topic, none of my appointments here were for throat, cough, etc… Sorry, I really tried to like this place, it’s a real shame as the service was actually better than I am use to at my previous clinics.

Bit difficult to find (it's near woolworths!). Easy parking, easy to get to the shopping centre. Great COVID practices, private waiting room, no wait for my appointment, friendly, helpful admin and clinical staff, the doctor was thorough and listened. I had the skin scan service, which was MUCH cheaper than my local and had an earlier available booking with my preferred gender doctor.

Doctor and Receptionists were very friendly and professional. However, the nurse who was administering my Covid vaccine was cold and not comforting at all.

If I could give this place 0 stars I honestly would. Called to create an appointment, let them know I tested negative for covid however I do feel sick and just want to get medication to help. First receptionist found my details and booked for a 9:30am appointment over the phone. Did not receive a phone call until 10:30 from another receptionist named “Connie” stating that as Medicare has changed they can’t go through with my booking and said I’m unable to come in due to having a runny nose because it could be covid even after telling them I tested negative??? I would suggest everyone go to a clinic that actually cares for the heath and wellbeing of their patients instead. I understand the nature of covid, but if someone has tested negative and is still feeling unwell and needs medication/help, they should be treated regardless. Just goes to show how much they do not care.

All staff members were efficient and very professional in their manner. Also the Doctor to did my check up was excellent and completely thorough with her examination. I will certainly return for my next annual skin check up. Thank you ever so much. cheers.

Very quick and easy Covid vaccine procedure

Great clinic! Went in today for the first time. Waiting time was reasonable. I saw Dr for the first time and she was lovely. I should have booked a double appointment as I have a long medical history and we ran out of time so I will do that next time. Will definitely be going there again and would recommend it at a medical clinic.

My first ever experience here was wonderful. Doctor Nadia was very welcoming and professional. She was cautious of what the conditions her patients were in and how much medicine to prescribe. Best doctor I've had, I would highly recommend her to be your doctor.

We have been visiting the practice for many years. From when I was a child, and now I take my own children there. We have seen many doctors but of late we have been seeing Dr. Ovesi, and we are very happy with how thorough our care always is. Very welcoming reception staff, and always had a good experience with the Nurse and other services offered at the practice.

Dr Emily Deluca is thorough, caring and makes me feel very comfortable. I have been looking for a Dr like her for a while due to my Dr retiring. Deer Park Medical Centre should be privileged to have her as a Dr in their practice.

I have been a patient of Dr Asham for many years, although I have now moved to St Leonard's just out of Geelong, I would never consider moving to another practice nor change Doctor. I recently changed to the practice. Staff have been lovely and I received a referral to the Diabetic Educator Josie - wow! I have been frustrated by conflicting information over the years. Josie has simplified things with helpful info and resources. I now feel like I am on the right path to achieve my health goals.

People are upset here because of the covid precautions. I stand by the medical centre with their decision to make masks mandatory and if you have covid symptoms then you will need to call in and take instruction on what to do next. I dont agree with the 1 star ratings given by other people, as they are just ignorant over covid protocol. My visit here today showed that the staff are patient and considerate. 5 stars all round.

I have been coming to this medical clinic for many years with my mother. Having Dr Dev as our family GP has been reassuring and I always feel like we are receiving the best care possible.

Reception staff were very professional & organized. Clinic was hygienic and masks are mandatory. Dr Mirna was very professional & understanding. Definitely recommended.

My kids and I have been coming here for 3 years even though we moved away to the city, we kept the same GP and still see her to this day. This clinic staff are all friendly, helpful and efficient and this clinic has all the services you need in a medical centre and is also at a shopping centre with underground parking for rainy days. Our GP is Dr Yadanar Thwe. She is a professional, kind, gentle, lovely doctor who we've been seeing for 3 years now. Sometimes appointments are not available for a few days, but we try to manage until an appointment opens up because all the doctors are very good and they have a very high volume of patients. I love how everyone must wear masks. If you have cold and flu symptoms, you can't attend face to face which I think is great, to keep all staff and patrons safe. My child got vaccinated here and her vaccination details have been updated on Medicare for 4 months. And when I called to try and find out why this is, they put me on hold for 15 minutes only to be told the nurse will call you back when she’s free. This very frustrating.

The staff is very kind and understanding with identity, mental health and pronouns. They certainly don't neglect. They're very generous with time and their concern for their patients shows a very healthy and good environment. I've never felt so included and safe with a doctor before.
