    If I could give 0 stars, I would. I brought a CFX75 Dometic fridge back in April 2019 and had nothing but issues with it. I tried to take it back to anaconda but they told me it was a warranty job. After 12 months of trying to get it fixed, it's still unreliable and still faulty. Multiple issues with the fridge, and I didn’t enjoy getting stuck in the middle of the Simpson desert with a non working fridge. I tried to contact Dometic regarding the issues, and wanted a new fridge as mine was not working as it should. It got sent down to Dometic Melbourne and came back damaged, dent all over my fridge, and scratches. I rang again to complaint about the damage to the fridge. I spoke to Aden Williamson who started out great, but slowly became really rude and arrogant and wasn’t helpful at all. They told me via phone that they would replace my fridge with a brand new one, but now want to replace with a second hand fridge that has been fixed multiple times and won’t give me a warranty on the fridge. The way this man speaks to people via phone and email is horrible, and I wouldn’t recommend this brand to anyone. Im had two fridges from Dometic and both aren’t worth the money. The customer service is terrible. I would go with a better brand next time. Spend the extra money on a better fridge.

    Absolutely disgusting custom service, like I've seen in many reviews waiting months and months for answers and never returning phone calls on warranty claims on a faulty product and with still with no answers. I bought the fridge 12 months ago now, didn't work from the get go and its been with their local service people since who also cannot get any answers out of them. I bought this fridge and built my canopy around this fridge for what was gunna be my trip of a life time which is now only 4 weeks away and I still have no fridge or answers . I will be in contact with consumers affairs

    Just picked up our motorhome after Dometic checked why our 10 year old fridge had gone kaput whilst travelling around Oz, after two refrigeration places (Alice Springs and Kununurra) both ripped us off without fixing it. Dometic found the problem to be the cooling coil and replaced it. That fixed the problem. However, some unfortunate minor damage caused when fixing it but Dometic arranged for it to be remedied at their cost. Never had an issue with the wonderful customer service from the time we rang the 1800 number and speaking to Bill, to booking in, and liaising with Luke and Chloe at the service centre. This is how customer service is supposed to be. Thanks, guys. We're on the road again!

    After months of not having phone calls or emails answered I finally have my refund, after consumer affairs became involved. Good products, god help you if you have a problem, because Dometic sure won't.

    This company uses technicalities to avoid honouring legitimate warranty claims The scenario was a faulty awnings that broke and busted a window but because we had just bought it they say that it has No warranty until the caravan has had an official handover. It’s supposed to be a 5 year warranty it shouldn’t matter who owns it

    Fridge just got out of warranty a month ago, had a very minimum use over the period of Covid lockdowns, so barely used, apparently it has lost all the refrigerant and 2 weeks later they tell me there is some sort of leak and cannot be repaired, such an expensive product that barely lasts the warranty period as if the fridges are just good for the warranty period and in return they are trying to sell me factory second fridge instead. Very disappointing product and service.

    Worst customer service I've ever experienced!!! Don't believe a word Alex in Tweed Heads says.... If you manage to get him on the phone. Don't bother calling the 1800# number because no one answers- I've been on hold for over 3hrs so far in the past 24hrs and still haven't spoken to a person on that number. Don't bother emailing asking for a call because the email response I got from Diane promising a phone call hasn't come true... I have no idea how to resolve this.. I wish I'd never bought their product. I haven't had a working fridge for 6 months now.. it's been of for repair twice, this time for 3 months. Waeco Dometic disgusts me. They should be ashamed.

    Had a dodgy Dometic upright fridge that was rectified by Dometic, Clayton. Jaryd was the young bloke that worked through the issues with the fridge and couldn't have been more helpful. They had to keep my fridge for a couple of weeks but loaned me one so I could go on a planned trip. All in all I was extremely satisfied with the service. Jaryd is to be congratulated for his customer centric approach.

    Absolutely shocking to deal with. Called to ask about warranty and the 2 separate people I spoke with were no help at all and both extremely rude. I legally purchased my caravan second hand (caravan was 1 yr old at time of purchase and have sales and purchase agreement) and I was treated like I had stolen it as I didn’t have the original. This is the 2nd dometic product I have had issues with, the 1st was a fridge. I would recommend anyone who has purchased to hold on to their receipt for dear life as they apparently will not have a bar of you unless you have the original proof of purchase. And if you’re looking to purchase- just don’t!

    Contrary to most reviews our experience of the team at dometic was nothing but helpful. Arrived with fridge not working properly at 8 am met by booking person and technician was on to the job straight away. Left with working fridge 2 hours later. Kept us informed when we asked questions. Well done guys.

    Dometic service guys were amazing. Took my caravan in for a warranty job and at short notice they fitted me in and did what was needed as quickly as they could, couldn't be happier with the service. Will definitely be taking my van back there for its regular service, so much better than the dealer I bought it from. Good job to the service guys and thanks for the quick turnaround. I'll definitely be back for a full service in the new yr.

    Avoid Dometic Mobicool windows. There has been a recall on them. We travel full time and have waited over 7 weeks for 5 window replacements. 3 were correct, 2 wrong. Domestic are painful to deal with regarding the recall. After contacting a few repair centres it seems they all keep getting the wrong sized windows. They couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery.

    10 out 10 service from jarrod and others today with a service issue reoccurring again. They Inspected and replaced the fridge with a new one within an hour turn around as they respected it was a repair return and I had traveled 40min to return it again. Great service.

    Took an older Waeco to the Dometic service centre in Clayton. Peter, I think his name was, ( sorry if not) could not have been more helpful. Listened, acted, fixed, rang me personally, and a was very helpful all round. Very satisfied.

    Shocking company. Don't hold spares for their products beyond 7 years. So they have effectively given products a lifespan of that time if something goes wrong. I would have thought a 3 way fridge should last about 20 years if they can be maintained. I have to replace mine after 11 years as they no longer sell gas Jets to suit. Bit unfair given the fridge cost over $2000. I won't replace with another Dometic fridge.

    Bought a brand new caravan that unfortunately was fitted with Dometic accessories. Have only used the van about 50 nights in total in just under 2 years. One of the pull up blinds came out of it's top fitting which was obviously poorly manufactured. Spoke to them and was advised not covered as warranty was only one year. Offered a replacement blind for half price but then had to pay to have it fitted. Not sure where their products are manufactured but seriously doubt it's Australia. We take pride in our van and look after it extremely well and know the problem was not caused by misuse. The quality of their products is extremely poor and we would never buy anything manufactured by them again.

    Called in to get my 15+ year old fridge fixed. It could be done even though it’s very old. The cost was close to a new fridge. It needed a whole computer board upgrade. So the guys hooked me up with a factory second almost half the price at any store. Very happy the guys were very helpful.

    Manager Dometic Australia, I must express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding the recent Dometic Australia air conditioner installation in our caravan, which took place approximately 2-3 weeks ago finished on 6th December. After investing a substantial sum of $4895.00, we have encountered severe water damage to our caravan, a Paramount Duex 2006 model. The roof is now filled with water, causing the pop top to break and the roof to buckle, with water leakage evident during heavy rainfall, on Christmas day. This situation has not only left us with a caravan in an unusable state but has also disrupted our long-awaited four-week holiday plans in caravan parks. We have spent the last six months eagerly anticipating this trip, only to be confronted with the aftermath of what appears to be a poorly executed installation. From the beginning, our disappointment was evident when we discovered that even the basic courtesy of fixing the cupboard from which the old air conditioner was removed was neglected. For the significant amount we paid, we expected a more professional approach. Upon inspecting the roof after noticing major leaks, we were appalled to find subpar workmanship and the use of seemingly cheap parts, resembling the work of an apprentice rather than a reputable company. This falls far below the standards we anticipated when trusting your team to handle the installation professionally. Furthermore, we feel compelled to address our concern that we were overcharged for the Dometic Australia air conditioner and its installation. During the pricing discussion, we explicitly mentioned our reservations about the cost, feeling that we were being unfairly charged. In light of the substantial damage to our caravan, the ruined holiday plans, the overall dissatisfaction with the workmanship, and the concern of being overcharged, we insist on immediate action and full compensation for: The damage caused to our caravan. The cost of the Dometic Australia air conditioner installation. Reimbursement for the $3500 spent on caravan sites for the now compromised holiday as you are not open until 3rd of January and our holiday has already commenced. We trusted your company to provide a professional service, and the current situation has left us deeply dissatisfied. We expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter.     I recently had a new Dometic compressor fridge, 2x new solar panels and a complete Enerdrive 200aH lithium battery set-up fitted to my Jayco Eagle outback camper. Lucas, Cloe, Jarrod and the team were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Lucas especially goes the extra mile to ensure the installs run smoothly. As an example, a completely unrelated (to the install) fault with the stove igniter was fixed along the way. It was an easy fix (loose connections), but it was very much appreciated. Very much recommended outfitters if you’re thinking of getting caravan or camper trailer modifications done.

    I have a 40 .tr dometic car fridge still under warranty it's been nine 3 times for repair and it just keeps braking down a Dad we cant rely on it a d I'm am told by the repair shop I have very little hope of getting it replaced by dometic and 90% of fridges that come in for repair are dometic and the company is ?? I will ne er buy do etic again if that is how they treat there customers
