I
must
express
my
extreme
disappointment
and
frustration
regarding
the
recent
Dometic
Australia
air
conditioner
installation
in
our
caravan,
which
took
place
approximately
2-3
weeks
ago
finished
on
6th
December.
After
investing
a
substantial
sum
of
$4895.00,
we
have
encountered
severe
water
damage
to
our
caravan,
a
Paramount
Duex
2006
model.
The
roof
is
now
filled
with
water,
causing
the
pop
top
to
break
and
the
roof
to
buckle,
with
water
leakage
evident
during
heavy
rainfall,
on
Christmas
day.
This
situation
has
not
only
left
us
with
a
caravan
in
an
unusable
state
but
has
also
disrupted
our
long-awaited
four-week
holiday
plans
in
caravan
parks.
We
have
spent
the
last
six
months
eagerly
anticipating
this
trip,
only
to
be
confronted
with
the
aftermath
of
what
appears
to
be
a
poorly
executed
installation.
From
the
beginning,
our
disappointment
was
evident
when
we
discovered
that
even
the
basic
courtesy
of
fixing
the
cupboard
from
which
the
old
air
conditioner
was
removed
was
neglected.
For
the
significant
amount
we
paid,
we
expected
a
more
professional
approach.
Upon
inspecting
the
roof
after
noticing
major
leaks,
we
were
appalled
to
find
subpar
workmanship
and
the
use
of
seemingly
cheap
parts,
resembling
the
work
of
an
apprentice
rather
than
a
reputable
company.
This
falls
far
below
the
standards
we
anticipated
when
trusting
your
team
to
handle
the
installation
professionally.
Furthermore,
we
feel
compelled
to
address
our
concern
that
we
were
overcharged
for
the
Dometic
Australia
air
conditioner
and
its
installation.
During
the
pricing
discussion,
we
explicitly
mentioned
our
reservations
about
the
cost,
feeling
that
we
were
being
unfairly
charged.
In
light
of
the
substantial
damage
to
our
caravan,
the
ruined
holiday
plans,
the
overall
dissatisfaction
with
the
workmanship,
and
the
concern
of
being
overcharged,
we
insist
on
immediate
action
and
full
compensation
for:
The
damage
caused
to
our
caravan.
The
cost
of
the
Dometic
Australia
air
conditioner
installation.
Reimbursement
for
the
$3500
spent
on
caravan
sites
for
the
now
compromised
holiday
as
you
are
not
open
until
3rd
of
January
and
our
holiday
has
already
commenced.
We
trusted
your
company
to
provide
a
professional
service,
and
the
current
situation
has
left
us
deeply
dissatisfied.
We
expect
a
prompt
response
and
resolution
to
this
matter.
