Had a light dinner with tasty home-made corn chips & an equally tasty guacamole. The tacos are ‘street food’ size which was expected at the the price of $7.50 each. If you are looking for the typical menu items such as standard nachos, burritos & fajitas then this is not the place for you. Food is authentic and as mentioned, has a ‘street food’ vibe to it.

Fish tacos here are the best. Great gauc and corn chips bliss. And yessss cocktails. Great tequila!!!! Thanks team.

Absolutely amazing food! I wish this was the first restaurant I tried Mexican food from so I know how amazing it's supposed to be! Highly recommend the Pollo Verde, Nachos De Calabaza, Tostaditas De Jaiba, and the premium classic Margherita. Service was great too. 10% surcharge on Sunday and public holidays. Parking can be hard in the area - recommend public transport if travelling alone or the shopping area nearby off Irwell st if sharing a car (cheaper if more than 2 ppl - $18 daily rate) As of Oct 2023

Perhaps the best and most authentic Mexican in town. Delicious chillaquilles verde and tacos are always on point. The ceviche was also refreshing and delightful. Smart and attentive service rounds off the experience.

Very busy Wednesday night (comedy festival gala) but service was quick and staff friendly. Guacamole dip was delicious and good amount for 2 ppl. as opener. We had soft shell corn tacos with amazing fillings, battered fish (baja), BBQ pork belly, scallops (callo de hacha) and shredded lamb (barbacoa). Hibiscus margaritas was amazing!

Average place with overpriced food. The cocktails were nice, but the food didn't impress me at all. It needs a bit more flavor to understand that you eat a Mexican good. The service was nice and precious with quite a good atmosphere.

Best Nachos and tacos I've had in Melbourne. I used to live in the US and this compares very nicely to the experience you'd have at the top TexMex joints. Highly recommended and will be back for sure!

Loved this place! Went on a Friday night without a booking, the place was packed but the staff let us wait at the bar until a table became available for dinner (only waited about 15 mins). The food and cocktails were delicious and the vibe was great! Will be back :)

Dinner for 4 was unbelievable. Every component of the meal was exceptional, the meats, beans, guac, salsa, etc and well packaged. Destined to become our go-to family happy meal.

Yummy and authentic Mexican food with groovy interiors. I particularly enjoyed the tacos. The service was not the best as the staff seemed overwhelmed and made a few mistakes with our order, bill, etc. They were friendly though.

Great friendly staff at a very lovely Mexican eatery. Great range of foods and drinks with banquette options available as well. Be prepared to wait for a table but once you're seated, you're good! Face paced service with minimal wait times for food. Although we had to prompt for two forgotten meals a a a beer jug - I put that down to the chaos of F1 weekend. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and great quality food. Can't wait to come back!

Probably a great Mexican restaurant for the lower part of the city (St Kilda). Though, if we're comparing just tacos, Los Hermanos in Brunswick wins in every category. Still pretty amazing though.

Tried the jalapeno starter along with Picoso and Rojo nachos. Liked the taste but definitely it's better for people looking for some drinks to go with the food. Good vibe!

Tasty, delicious, gooood! 😋 One of my favourite Mexican restaurants, their current menu for vegan/vegetarian options is by far the best I’ve had. All staff were attentive and super friendly. We enjoyed the outdoor dining on a beautiful Melbourne sunny day with our dog.

We had the most amazing lunch on the patio. The guac and chips were amazing, possibly the chips were made fresh there? The corn was perfectly charred. The tacos had the best flavour balance (pork belly, mushroom). We would absolutely go out of our way to go back there again. Staff was friendly, food delivered fast. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Quirky Mexican restaurant that serves good food. The service is excellent and very attentive. Well priced I would say. We’ve ordered few different items, the tostaditas de jaiba and enchilada de res oohh chefs kiss! Costras de carnitas, scallop and pork belly taco needed more sauce to fully flavour it. The $20 Beer jug was also very good.

Tried their pork belly al pastor. The acidity of the dish worked very well with the pork belly making it enjoyable from the start to the end. The rice was very flavourful too.

Good drinks and good service

Fast and friendly service. Stopped here for late lunch before heading to luna Park. Fish tacos were really good as were the roja nachos. Definitely worth a try if in the area.

Staff and service were great but tacos were the worst Ive had in life. Specially the beef tacos. Only fat on top of a terrible tortilla . Even the guacamole was off. Michelada was way to spicy. So disappointing.

We popped in for a late dinner after watching a show near by. The food was fantastic however expensive for the serving size. We waited around 30 minutes for tacos that were never put through into the kitchen. Disappointed, that we left without having the tacos! The cocktails were amazing. The service was hit and miss. We had a lovely waitress explaining the menu and another rude waitress (long hair) with attitude that ruined our night. Won't be back anytime soon.

Funky little find. Delicious range of tacos including loads of veggie options which is refreshing. The bbq corn is also fantastic as well as the Banging margaritas. Atmosphere is great and service top notch. Make sure to book in advance as it certainly filled up quick on the day we were there. Will certainly be back

I had dinner here with family recently. Plenty of 2P parking available nearby. The food was hot, spicy and delicious- probably the best Mexican food in Melbourne. Great selection of vegetarian food and non-alcoholic drinks. Go for the courtyard tables. Shouldn't forget Jenny who made our experience special; very friendly and explains menu options with loads of patience. It's somewhat pricey which is why one star less. We will be back to try out all the vegetarian options.

Spontaneous desire for late night food brought a friend and I here. The food was good, and I would definitely come back another time to try more of the menu. The staff and the service provided were excellent - I cannot emphasize this enough! One star deducted because I feel the prices are a little bit on the higher side.

I enjoyed my food at Radio Mexico. The atmosphere was good and it was a good place to enjoy food and drink. I have to say that the guacamole was tasty but it was a more like puree than a traditional guacamole. The corn chips accompanying the guacamole were really nice. The different taco varieties were also very enjoyable. The service was very good and food came out quickly.

My friend and I visited Radio Mexico last night for dinner and really loved the energetic atmosphere of the place. Located in St Kilda, it's all fun/party vibes here so makes for the perfect place for drinks. We ordered tacos, quesadillas, guacamole and drinks. There was a strange taste in the quesadilla that I ordered (the potato one) which for some reason I just couldn't get past. So that was a miss from me, next time I'd just order a different one. The tacos were good and guac was fresh and tasty also. Overall, the busy vibes are what made the place for me rather than the food! Will definitely be back.

Stopped here on a Saturday late afternoon . The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our order came out very quick . We have order barbacoa de res , elites , selection of tacos and 2 desserts. And every one of them was delicious. The one that blew my socks off was Cameron taco !!! So delicious !!!

I hired the private room for an occasion, the staff were friendly with great service. The food was delicious and the drinks were flowing, and reasonably priced for the complete private upstairs area. Would definitely eat this delicious food again.

Margarita monday is the best

Almost as close to authentic Mexican as you can get in Melbourne, and perhaps better due to the modern deft execution of all the traditional Mexican dishes you'd expect. Owned and run by a talented hospitality professional you can expect good professional, efficient and friendly service here. The food comes fast and the margaritas are excellent. In a Covid safe world there's now extra seating outside.

Called in for a couple of shared pre dinner drinks with my partner. I had a traditional margarita which was spot on. The tequila flavour was really good, and the lemon had a good zing if that makes sense lol. The second drink was a pineapple margarita and I could have drank these all night! The pineapple was really tasty, not too sweet, and if your a pineapple fan, this is for you! It was absolutely delicious. To finish shared a home made tequila lemonade. I've had these before and they were amazing but this time the drink tasted like water with a squeeze of lemon juice to make it appear like a lemon drink. This was really disappointing, I personally couldn't taste any tequila, maybe I was served lemon water by mistake? Anyway, 2/3 is ok I guess but definitely not what I wanted or what I paid for. Previous review - July 2017 My partner and I came here last night and what as treat it was. This place doesn't take bookings and we were lucky enough to get the last inside table thankfully as it was cold outside. And there is an outdoor area. For dinner we had lots of food again. This is a tapas style restaurant so we ordered a range of dishes such as Jalapeno pickles, Totopos (chips and salsa) and soft tortillas. But the most memorable dish for me was the pork belly!! OMGosh haha this was incredible. Pork belly that just fell apart w the most amazing crackling. Mmnn yessss haha We had a margarita each which was a perfect start to dinner and some homemade lemonade. Everything was great but dinner cost $170 which wasn't cheap but it was sooo worth it lol

Great options for vegetarians and loads of their food can be made vegan too. I had vegan versions of their tacos and was shocked that I could have 4 options... and that’s just from the taco section! Easily the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. Went there with my girlfriend and she said the scallop tacos were creative and full of flavour. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and full of colour. The cocktails were very well made and generously served but the stand out drink had to be the homemade lemonade, which you can add gin and vodka to. Wait staff were really lovely and friendly, plus the food came fast despite it being quite busy. Very highly recommended for all.

Service was great, cocktails were good, but the food has no flavour and very light on with any meat chosen for tacos. Small portions for the price too. No sauces provided on the table to even add to help the cause! Was disappointed as had heard great reviews from friends, so disappointed the food wasn't tasty! 3 stars mainly for the staff they were delightful!
