It was appalling. Adina is a relatively new hotel located at Southbank. The location is great, and the room is decently sized, but there was noise from the floor above. The gym is small and poorly equipped, and there is a tricky hot/cold function in the shower. The housekeeping is just terrible. When I first checked in, they actually gave me a room that was still uncleaned. There were spots on the table, walls, and sofas. The shower floor and walls weren't even cleaned at all. Moreover, there was a lack of amenities - no little shampoos or anything, just a big communal container that everyone has used. I told the staff about it when I got back to the apartment at night and found the room hadn't been cleaned, and the dispensers were still empty. The sink had leftover food and was never cleaned. I saw a cleaner in the hallway and questioned them about the room. It wasn't scheduled for cleaning as it was considered a "stay" on their list. I was totally dissatisfied with their service. I absolutely do not recommend this place for the price. I don't think there is any real value in booking a long stay, as they don't really clean up the place when you are there. For a pretty costly hotel, I had expected more. The room itself was lovely, but I had expected more for the price, especially with room service.

Absolutely fantastic in all areas except 1. Rooms were excellent, location was great, parking is horrible. The parking complex is only 150 metres away. If you pay for parking through Adina, it will cost you $35 per night. If you pay for parking through the owners of the parking complex, it will cost you $23 per night. If you dont need parking, definitely stay here. If you need parking it is a bit sneaky and underhanded. You should do better Adina...

Short stay for a concert, chose Adina based on proximity to hammer hall. Was not disappointed. Staff are so warm and welcoming, incredibly clean and secure building. Beautiful clean rooms, reusable kitchen utensils, steady & adjustable water pressure in the shower, and lush toiletries by ink+water. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and are looking forward to rebooking with Adina in the future.

The hotel is really modern and fresh. The room was lovely and for the first time in my life there was nothing broken or malfunctioning! The pool was an absolute delight, we went for a late evening swim which was ace. The tv had chromecast so we could watch our favourite show and just relax. Great location tucked in just behind Southbank. Recommend!

Good hotel at Southbank. 3 mins walk to the river and all the cafes/restaurants and bar you could ever want. Very friendly staff made stay better. Reasonably priced. Small heated pool and gym. Small Cafe next to reception.

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING Booked this hotel for my anniversary flying over from Adelaide. Got treated with a small room, 0 amenities and 0 care factor. The shower floor and walls werent even cleaned at all so we’re filthy, the walls in the lounge had marks all over them, and we were given 0 amenities. No little shampoos or nothing just a big communal container everyone has used. Not only that it was a whopping $1.4K for 2 nights here and was absolutely not worth it at all. Never even heard anything about my security bond when checking out, they just took my key and said that’s it. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone and for the price it was absolutely appalling. Ruined our anniversary having to deal with dirty room, thin walls etc. Go spend you $1.4K on a worth while hotel. I will not be returning again and am not recommending this place to anybody 😠 for nearly $700 a night I would have been better of at the crown hotel!!!!

Adina Southbank was in a great location close to Crown and Southbank. Our one bedroom apartment was very clean and modern with a great view from the 17th floor. The king bed was amazing and soft and comfortable. Car parking was easy from just across the street. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were helpful. We will definitely be back and can definitely recommend this great accommodation.

I thoroughly enjoyed my staycation at Adina apartments in Southbank. The rooms were very clean and new, and the facilities such kitchen and bathroom (with large bath) were top notch. I didn't get a chance to use the other facilities which as gym and pool so I can't comment on those. Location is excellent. Highly recommended. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are big and bed is very comfy. Not too soft. A bit tear and wear but is clean. Great location at Southbank and is close to the river walk.

I had a terrible experience on first day of Dec 2022 with it. It is business trip for two day. First the bathroom basin water blocked when I checked in 5:40pm. Then when I back after whole day schedule 8:30pm, the door locker locked me out. It took them two hours to get lock smith to open a Hotel door. Then, receiption changed me to the most noise room which just in front of three elevators. After talking, I had been put into a “quiet” room with no airflow and air conditioning not working. I have been stuck in the room for whole night and had horrible 3hr sleeping. And now 8am when I am In hurry to office for another whole day meeting, there is still no solution… Avoid it

New hotel in an amazing location, with one of the best pools and gyms in any hotel. Rooms have a fantastic view starting from levels 8 and upwards from there. The staff are amazing and location is right in the arts precincts, a stone's throw across the river from the CBD and a reasonable walk to the sports precinct. Perfect for families and they do a cracking coffee and croissant!

In general a decent apartment, gym is small and in need of more equipment, room cleaning needs a lot more attention and staff engagement with guest's needs a lot of work, a smile and the odd good morning greeting would help immensely. In regards to cleanliness on entering the room found lounge chairs in a disgusting condition, told staff who took photos and left them there for the 5 night stay with out cleaning or replacing, unfortunately l would not recommend staying.

In every way I was impressed with the Adina. Whisper quiet, quality finishes, regular servicing of rooms, friendly staff, excellent gym and lap pool, efficient appliances. I'll certainly stay again.

Great service. Great rooms. Great location. I’ve stayed here five times with my partner. On the most recent stay however, housekeeping entered the room even though the “Privacy Please” sign was up and the only housekeeping done was to empty the bin.. which barely had any rubbish in it, and was certainly not in need of emptying. The beds weren’t made; there were no fresh towels and no other housekeeping done. Which is strange, doubly so when you consider that they shouldn’t have been in the room in the first place. My card was stolen from the room and fraudulently charged for $1250. The card went into my wallet during checkin while I was still standing at reception, and that wallet never once left the hotel room after that. The card was missing and had been fraudulently charged by the time we needed to checkout. The charges appear to be sending money directly to someone in the Philippines. Cindy at the desk was very pleasant to deal with and made a small effort to investigate - she has been great every time we’ve stayed. But ultimately the hotel took no responsibility and I can no longer trust that my belongings are safe inside their rooms. I will no longer be staying there. Five stars, as long as you don’t ever bring anything that you want to keep. Our stay there left us feeling violated, frustrated and let down. 😞

Such a great and accommodating hotel. The front office team was great and the staff were very attentive. By far the cleanest hotel I have stayed at. The only down fall is that the heaters play up but overall was a great experience.

Could not recommend this place more. After coming from another hotel that we had to leave due to it how awful it was, we couldn't have asked for a better stay! Declan was there to greet us on our arrival and he was so warm and welcoming. All the staff we encountered were so pleasant and it really made such an impression. Declan was so kind as to give us a complimentary upgrade and it was so appreciated. The room was absolutely stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed not only our beautiful room but the incredible facilities Adina has to offer. We will definitely be returning.

I am writing this review in hope that the management will get their act together as the location of the hotel is great. I stayed in room 1021 from 4/5 to 8/5. The toilet seat was stained and despite informing the front staff - nothing was done. At the very least, they could offer another room. The basin had left over food and was never cleaned in the 5 days I was here. The main problem is you are using freelance contract cleaners… please do something about this as I hope to come back one day.

Clean modern and comfortable apartment with great views out the 17th-floor window wall. Good aircon, comfy beds, all the amenities, pleasant and efficient staff. Parking is close but not onsite, however, rates are reasonable and not restricted to single entry. Well-priced for what's on offer, and in the heart of Southbank. Recommended!!

Who would have thought that inner-city hotel stay can be pretty quiet and peaceful? We stayed on the 14th floor and had an awesome view of Southbank and its inhabitant high-rise Lego blocks. Apartment suite was clean, very spacious with many usable spaces which is handy for families. The only small downside was lack of convenient parking. You need to get lucky to get a temporary stopping spot right outside the lobby to load and unload your luggages, otherwise get ready to drag them across the road from the Wilson parking building.

The shower was broken, my partner had to hold it for me (we were about to check out, so no point moving), no cookies to have with my tea, no mirrors for .... 'looking' and when we asked for 2 contour pillows and 2 fluffy pillows, we got a stack of literally 6 assorted pillows. Our check-in request also asked for a bucket of ice (it was a hot melbourne day) for our drinks, and we were given a handful of ice in a bucket of water... on the plus side, we were allowed an early check-in as soon as our room was ready, which was pretty cool, and the staff were nice.

Booked for a business trip for me and 3 colleagues. First night fire alarm @ 1 am. Full evacuation of hotel for false alarm and waiting 2 hours to return to room. When asked for some sort of discount we were offered free parking (no car) Have since requested full invoice for the stay, which Adina is unwilling to provide since I’ve book some of the rooms through a third party and some through them directly.

The hotel has nice large rooms. Even the studios are Large. There are fridges and microwaves. The indoor pool is nice and the views of the city are excellent!

Great stay! The team is amazing and welcoming ! The hotel is located in a good area near a nice Italian restaurant and IGA. The apartment was beautiful, and I loved the setting. Bed is very comfortable.

Amazing stay here! Location was great, close walking distance to everything in the city. The room was beautiful and modern, extremely clean and very spacious - we were there for my partner’s birthday so it was perfect for the special occasion! We had a one bed apartment on the top floor with a city view and stayed for 3 nights. The staff were friendly and the check in and out process was smooth. Would definitely stay here again!

The stay was perfect! I was doing a birthday celebration for a friend and the staff were very accomodating and helpful with everything, especially Jennifer, who was absolutely amazing.

I've stayed here twice now and both times have been great. The rooms are clean and spacious (have stayed in the apartment rooms) and the location is central to everything we needed. The only thing to note is that you can hear your room neighbours talking. We didn't mind but if you want 100% quiet you might have to ask for a room away from others.

Recently stayed there for work and was impressed with this little gem. Its very modern and up to date with room facilities. One negative is that it doesn't have onsite restaurant but you are only few mins walk to Yarra River Valley and open to heaps of choices.

I don't know how they can justify charging guests 305$ a night for a king doublebed room, when there are stains absolutely everywhere. I was afraid to put my clean clothes down anywhere! The room is absolutely tiny. you have to share amenities with the people before you, and the shampoo/ conditioner doesn't even clean my hair. it still smelled after 2 washes! you either get a freezing cold shower or get burned alive. the bed moves as you get on it, like a lot! and the sheets were an absolute mess to navigate. There were just stains everywhere. There is no nice tea of coffee and one measly tub of full cream dairy milk. The staff are not vigilant in our requests. had to call for air con service and towels twice each time. I dont have much good to say about this room, except it was close to crown casino. you are better off spending your money there. i don't know how people leave good reviews about this place. they probably got to stay in a newly refurbished room.

Disappointed that I booked 2 single beds, got the confirmation for 2 single beds. Rang day before to make sure, again it was confirmed. Got there and was a king bed. A big let down but other than that rooms were clean and nice. Mattress was comfortable, no noise issues.

Oh look it was good value for money. Horrible shower (poor pressure from eco head and poor temp control). Chromecast never worked properly. Kept buffering and failing. Cups weren't clean when we got to the room. So I wonder what else was skipped... could have also had better amenities. Other than that everything else was good. Cant really complain. I'd prob come back again. Maybe in a bigger room. The studio ones are a smidge small. Need washing machine. I paid about 1200 for 6 nights.

This is my new favourite hotel to stay at while visiting Melbourne! Firstly, the location is fantastic.. short walk to the CBD, tram stops, Fed Square and Flinders Station.. Southbank is such a buzzing spot which is gorgeous both during the day and evening. The amenities at this hotel is great too - the indoor pool on Level 7 was just what I needed to unwind after a long day (open till 10:30pm) and opens early at 6am to fit a morning swim just before breakfast as well. There's a lot of nice cafe and restaurant options nearby, and conveniently an IGA next door and 7Eleven across the road for picking up groceries. The room itself was very modern, clean and a comfortable bed!! I also loved the kitchenette and in-room washing machine/dryer. The service was outstanding- big shout out to Pia for her amazing service who went above and beyond to help me on my first night as I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant, she made my stay very comfortable. I am truly blown away by the service and will definitely be staying at Adina Southbank the next time I'm in Melbourne!!

We stayed just before Christmas 2021 and had the best stay. The front desk team were so accommodating, a special thanks to Jonathan. The room was spotless. The location is great - an easy walk to galleries, parks, and the centre of town. Can't wait to visit again!

No complaints about this hotel whatsoever. Rooms were quiet, comfortable and updated. Service was excellent, accommodating an early check-in and immediately responding to all requests. This hotel is located on the south bank side of the river and is really perfect as it's right on the edge of everything but not in the middle of it. Parking is the only thing that's a bit tricky as it's off property but close by.

Always my go to place to stay in Melbourne. Stella and Sophie tonight especially made my day! They were super welcoming, helpful when I asked to changed rooms and even put me in the room I always stay in! The staff is truely a big reason I stay here every-time I come to Melbourne. The rooms are very spacious and modern with all the right amenities. Highly recommend for a business or personal trip. Thank you Stella and Sophie for making my day!

We recently stayed and had an issue with an incident that occurred in our room with a staff member but the Hotel Management handled this situation in a way that what could have been a disaster, into an enjoyable stay. We could not fault how our issue was handled, so much so we have now rebooked for NYE for another 2 nights. This hotel is beautifully clean, staff are kind, caring and very accommodating.

The hotel is new and located in a good, convenient spot. Its close to restaurants, shops and the CBD. The apartment is a good size and layout. The toilet and shower were weirdly small and uncomfortable. The shower's control was very hit and miss and was either stone cold or red hot. The check in staff were good and helpful, but we did face issues with the housekeeping staff. The rooms were serviced quite late in the day. The rooms were quite dirty and dusty and the servicing was rushed and didnt clean up well. They missed basic items such as tissues & toilet paper that we had to request. Missing basic items from the bathroom as well such as a toilet brush..... The room appliances did have some issues, the oven was disabled when we tried to use it and then staff had to come and fix it. The aircon was also broken a few times during the stay and had to request that staff fix it multiple times which became annoying. Waking up to your room blasting hot air when you'd set the aircon to 21 is poor. The staff generally seemed happy to help and were willing to go the extra mile for our stay, however the housekeeping and appliances let the stay down. Would stay there again, but housekeeping needs to improve!

My partner and I are currently staying at the Adina Southbank. We had the misfortune of having a noisy neighbour, but thankfully, the kind staff went above and beyond to help us out. They were even quick to help us move rooms, with absolutely no fuss. Thanks for the fantastic customer service.

Adina is relatively new and located at Southbank. What’s great is that it is short 5 min walk to many restaurants along Southbank and a 8 min walk to full size Woolworths at Melbourne Square. I like this area as it’s cleaner and not as dusty. The apartment itself is of a good size and layout. However the space for shower and wc is really small and would be uncomfortable for a larger size person. The water supply from the shower is slower than other hotels I have stayed in Melbourne, and the hot/cold function is a little tricky. Otherwise they do have a good and powerful hairdryer, washing machine and dryer - and cute little packets of detergent for your use. When I first checked in, they actually gave me a room that was still uncleaned. But the reception quickly managed to rectify the issue. I would think the biggest issue I had in my stay was housekeeping - they seem really understaffed and always out of towels (one said so much as giving priority to the check-ins). For one day, I actually got pool towel as my bath towel! It is important to check with the front desk what type of house keeping service is available and on request, which I only found out 5 days into my stay. I personally think there is no real value booking a long stay as they don’t really clean up the place when you are there. There is no proper pick up and drop off point. The street right in front of the hotel City Road is a major road and there are times in the day where the car is unable to stop, so take note when this happens to stop around the back instead.

Booked this last moment for work trip and was fairly impressed. I didn't score a great view our my window but the room was good and location was perfect. There was a better view from the elevator area however.

Brand new hotel, only open since November 2020. Ive stayed 4 weeks and it has been great. Room comes with everything you could want. I generally get hot at night but air con i room is fantastic. Only complaint i would have is that there are no windows

100% I rarely give that kind of review, but in this case it’s warranted. I stayed the last 23 nights there on Level 14 looking over to the Shrine!! 3 month old Hotel/ Apartments, the paint hasn’t dried yet :-) Perfect location, couple of minutes into the bustling Southbank Blvd, super friendly staff big thank you to, Nicholas, Sophie, Karina, Emma and Nigel (Hotel manager) and the house cleaning staff of course. They could not have done enough for you!. Great coffee ☕️ too downstairs. Gym and Pool facilities, everything was spotless clean. Great stay!! Thanks again Uwe

Great location, lovely customer service, very clean rooms and facilities... couldn't fault it! I also received a wonderful surprise in our room on check-in - a hand written card and bottle of bubbly for my birthday, a lovely gesture! Thank you to the Adina team - my friends and I had a lovely stay :)
