👍👍 I went there originally just to get the loft adjusted on a couple of irons, & Ray saw me on the spot & sorted out the loft issues quick smart. I decided to play 18, & used the cart & a round of golf deal for $35. The layout itself is challenging, with doglegs & tree lined fairways, & it is certainly... People often mention good, fairways, greens, staff, Great, condition, holes,

I went there originally just to get the loft adjusted on a couple of irons, & Ray saw me on the spot & sorted out the loft issues quick smart. I decided to play 18, & used the cart & a round of golf deal for $35. The layout itself is challenging, with doglegs & tree lined fairways, & it is certainly no pushover, but all skill levels would find it an enjoyable test The course itself plays very fast, with the fairways being a bit patchy, but it doesn't take away from the playability itself. The greens were supurb, & rolled true, as well as holding well struck shots, & little spinners. There were a couple of bunkers out of play, but the rest were fine. The course was better than I expected, & I look forward to coming back. And for beer drinkers, all stubbies are $5... ****EDIT*** It's been 3 years since I wrote this review, & I've played there many times since. I've always had nothing but a good experience every time, from the friendly & helpful staff, to the condition of the course. Today, I had cause to get another set of irons tweaked by adjusting the lofts to what they should be. I rang up to book in a time, & in less than two hours later, after travelling from Sunshine, I had the clubs exactly as they should be, with no fuss & at a very reasonable price. If your clubs aren't performing as you'd expect, I recommend you get them checked out, & adjusted if necessary. Great work, Rowville Lakes Golf Course!

This place is great, it may be a suburban Gold course for Melbourne locals but it's a real step above our public courses in Adelaide. The staff were brilliant, the clubhouse was well stocked and reasonably priced. The 8th hole is a good one as it plays over a water hazard and a hedge. A very picturesque course with plenty of water hazards around. The elevated 10th is also a beautiful hole. Be careful on the 11th as the magpies are out and about. Only thing to note is some of the fairways were very boggy around the edges. Great value. About $80 for 18 holes, clubs and buggy hire, about 8 balls, handful of tees, a hat, drink and ice cream.

Wide fairways, green is very tricky-it was very difficult cause up and down. love the outdoor and great to be indoor as well. shop has everything u need and lovely staff who are well trained well as well. Enough car park, practice can be allowed for green. It is a beautiful course in the area. Winter tip: get there early but wait till sunrise and it is a bit foggy as well.

Good course, is pretty touch due to all the trees lining the fairways and OB areas. Have a mate who is a member at Eastern and said the greens at Rowville were better. Have good membership options also. Only down fall is it gets VERY wet and muddy in winter but the course is on the way up.

Friendly, The course isn't too difficult but has challenges and is in good condition at the moment, despite the rain we've had. One of our buddies who wasn't there missed a good day.

I played this course twice during the week. Fantastic course and equally fabulous price! ($20) for 18 holes. Absolutely no complaints!

Lovely course. Greens are not really big but not to sloping Plenty of straight fairways

Nice course to practice, needs maintenance. Value for money. A lot of water logging. Still not a bad course for a quick nine or for a practice round. Great pro shop with some great specials on clothing and equipment. Love the staff.

Good public course, some tight tree lined faiways and fast greens. A challenge but not frustrating.

The course condition is not very now due to rain. Most of the fairways are muddy. Greens are pool of water. Bunkers are in reasonably good condition. Suggest using a cart if you do not mind playing. Otherwise, you will get really muddy.

The course itself is reasonably well-maintained, but it doesn't particularly stand out in terms of quality. It is good value for the price you pay though. The fairways and greens are passable, it offers a decent game of golf at a reasonable price point.

Nice course however one hole had burnout marks on the green which was annoying but I know they couldn’t do anything

Good looking from the club house and it gets worse as u go. Seems like they dont look after the back holes much just the front ones. Some fairways are like rough it self. Other than that good course i guess.

Had my first group lesson this morning. What a great lesson I had with Helen. For any women interested in learning golf, I would highly recommend this affordable way to get started 😀

I've played many times in this golf course and I will continue to come and play when I'm visiting Melbourne since I live in South Australia. Although I enjoy the 18 holes I do feel some sections of the course could be maintained a bit better. But overall still an enjoyable Golf Course for both beginners and seasoned players.

Great course, well maintained, greens are looking good at the moment. Reasonably priced, tables for between rounds, and a good view down on the first two and last two holes from the clubrooms. Plenty of parking in the overflow. Course has a few long holes, roughs can be a little tricky, but plenty of elevation to keep it interesting and some well placed ponds plus swamps to keep you focused

Well maintained course, especially impressive given the price. Friendly staff (shout-out to Dave), and barista coffee available. Greens are excellent - large, tidy, and enough modulations to keep things interesting. Offers a good mix of straight fairways and left/right doglegs of varying sharpness. Easy to walk 18 and not feel gassed because the land is very flat and there's only one par 5, but there's still a really fun par 3 on the hill next to the clubhouse that has you teeing off 10-20m above the fairway, with a water hazard protecting long and right. Holes 9 and 18 use this hill for challenging elevated greens too. Plenty of green bunkers, but only one fairway bunker. Deep rough has a decent lie, so you can strike easily enough and just focus on threading it through the trees. Very glad this is my closest course.

Becoming a really good course to play. Has improved a great deal with the new management. Especially greens. 6 fairways just redone and are coming up nicely. Love it!

Hidden gem 10 minutes off the M1, wet during winter and you cannot find better value for money. Recommend for all levels, the Par 3's are stand outs.

My mate and I both lost balls on fairways. That's how muddy it is. Greens are good, parking is ample.

Beautiful course. Very scenic. The fairways are nice and long to practice your game.
