"truth is our motto", "we have a very strict bullying system" such lies make me sick. I'm a father and I feel extremely shameful to have attended this school and will NOT send my child here. A few months ago a student who was crying got suspended for 3 days for being bullied because he yelled at the bully to stop bullying him. BUT GUESS WHAT? The bully didn't get suspended ).. wow ms. Team coordinator ms. A for suspending the wrong child. Teachers from this school bully their student while hypocritically saying that bullying won't be tolerated at this school, what makes you an exception teachers? You are adults. You shouldn't be teachers if you are to treat students in such disrespectful manners. A whole group of students got sent home recently for wearing socks that aren't covering the ankles. PARENTS PAY FOR THEIR CHILD SCHOOL FEES SO THEY CAN LEARN. How could you disrespectful teachers send them home for such a small reason, Wasting people's time! How ridiculous in all manners. This school will need to close down soon or else they will ruin more students opportunities of having a memorable high school life. Highly recommend parents to do their children a favour and NOT send their children here.

Don't go to this school. Teachers are alright and environment is ok. However about 90% of the students are rude and disrespectful. I don't know how many times I've heard the phrase 'gay c***' been said here. Also the school values their uniform system more than education. For example, if you wear white socks with a small logo on them, you get a detention. Pathetic. In fact, the other day many kids were sent home because of the socks they were wearing. And lastly, avoid the toilets if you can. All kinds of crazy things happen in there. One day I had a pizza box thrown on my head. Been here for a little while now and the school just seems to gets worse every day.

Terrible school, with terrible people and corrupt system. The ones in charge here don't care about you. They care about your socks. Teachers would rather postpone the lesson to discipline kids because they are wearing black socks instead of white socks (how dare they!). I'm sorry but we don't pay taxes so we can have teachers send students to the office because of ridiculous things instead of actually doing their job which is...well...teaching, isn't it? Also most kids here are disrespectful and there is a fair amount of bullying here, even though the school denies it. I have heard many homophobic and racial slurs here, it's disgusting. After spending more than 4 years here, I now have depression and constant anxiety attacks. It's ruined my life. One star is too generous.

Good morning everyone, I was a Year 9 student here previously. Here is my experience and opinions about St Albans Secondary College. My education here has not been the best. All the rumours you have heard, socks and uniform before education, bullying, staff disprecting students and vaping, it's really unfortunate because it's true. I have seen it all with my own eyes, if you wanted to express your opinions to any teachers then you would simply get in trouble for talking back. The toilets are very unsanitary and disgusting and smoke every where. Corrupt school system don't respect students at all and don't understand the stress the sudents are in, when it comes to bullying every staff looks the other way. Coordinators rather take students out of class, teachers distrupt lessons and given detention just because they wore below ankle socks, 1 logo on the sock, wearing wrong pants or shirts. The school motto? "Truth is our light", no that's wrong it isn't at all, they all lie even lied about the strict bullying system. The staff at SASC don't like critism very much, though they support a lot of stuff doesn't mean the inside look is good. If you are a parent reading this, please don't enrol your kid here, because trust me you will regret everything. I have been called many mean things, racist stuff and other stuff. Not to mention I had to keep up with work and the mean comments I was getting, It was stressful. I was on the verge on self harm and had suicidal thoughts every day after school, after moving schools and going to a therapist I have been able to find myself again and enjoy my new friends and teachers at my new school (I go to CRC now). And to mention, when I was getting in a physical contact with someone who was bullying me (I didn't approach him he pushed me), I tried to run but I couldn't so I pushed back and guess what? I'm suspended for 7 days and bully was suspended for a day, they told me to just run and tell a teacher but guess what? They didn't want me to explain what happened instead just suspended me. Incredible justice system SASC!. Do not come to this school.

This school is absolutely terrible! First and foremost they care more about uniform, socks etc than learning! The principal Mrs. Dowsley is extremely unprofessional as well! And the staff and coordinators here are disgraceful, they racial profile anyone it is absolutely disgusting behaviour and this should not be allowed anywhere! If you want your kid to come to a school where they can get discriminated and go home crying because they wore the wrong socks than this school is perfect for you! The toilets are also nauseating, never cleaned and there are kids hotboxing the toilet with vaporized smoke! My kids can barely breathe in the toilets. One of my kids, came home with a bruised leg! I called up the school and they did absolutely nothing about it! I was really wanting to call the Police on this matter, but they said they would resolve it and nothing happened still. The sport teachers make fun of people who can't control their weight calling them "FAT". They also don't let anyone go toilet and as a single mother I believe my kids have the freedom and right to go toilet whenever they want! We are moved schools ever since and my kids have been loving it. This is your warning do not come to this school!

St. Albans Secondary College staff are extremely difficult to contact via landline communication. Total disappointment on different occassions attempting to communicate via telephone. A real pity if there was an emergency or life threatening situation, students are put at risk. Advoid this school if you cherish your children.

Hello, I am a female student currently in yr8 and was thinking of moving schools to St Albans SC, next year so I could have a better education for yr9, but after hearing these comments I am beginning to have doubts and worries. So if someone is willing so reply to my comment and provide information if the school has a good education system and their experience with the grading system in the school, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Honestly this school gave me a bad vibe from the beginning. On my first day I was already getting bullied by a few asian students that were saying my hair was to curly and my dress was to short, not to mention this school looks like it came out of asia or something, seriously it's so hard to make friends here because all of the students are just so mean. This school isn't as good as i had hoped I'm just glad im moving schools soon.I also have very severe stress so i need to take some days off just so i feel comfortable.

To be honest, this is a horrible school. Gangster doesn't like people that are nice. The school even don't deal with behavior but deal with regular behavior rather than serious behavior The school values the bad students rather the good student. If you want to send your kids here, you should teach your child how to self defence from bad behavior. Don't come to this school if you child is younger than year 9.

Im a student at this school and if im going to be honest its an horrible school, most teacher are either sexist or racist and i know most of the older students and they all agree with me( well most of them). The rules at sasc are way too strict too, you have no choice but to do detention if your wearing the wrong socks or the wrong shoes. Sometime teachers will force you to take off your hat or whatever, the uniform price is outrageous a jacket cost around $79 and a jumper is around $40-50. The education here isnt even that good they explain stuff for a test but when we get the test its about something else we havent learnt at all!

School is very good, the toilets are pretty unsanitary but I don't blame the school. Students get a long with each other and make friendly jokes. The teachers are very nice, they always help students with their assignments and homework.

School is fine but don't come here if you are scared of gangs and shanks, I bet that you'll see them in the first second of stepping foot inside here. I also got punched by a random yr 9 (i am in yr 7) for nothing but atleast the coordinators actually did something abt it. Make sure your child learns self defence if you want to send them here. The school also advertises itself as a "high achieving school" but most of them are literally failing classes even in seal (they basically just use the few high achieving kids as free advertisement). The number of educational programs are also terrible as you don't even have access to the Adobe suite, which is offered at other schools such as vusc. Overall this school is dangerous and lacking in things don't send your kids here💀.

I was a keen student of this school way back in the 1960s when it was called ST.ALBANS HIGH SCHOOL then...And this school had received so many awards for excellence of service back then..It really helped me achieve my career objectives and i always got up in the mornings so enthused to rush to my first class each day...BUT,now that i read all these SAD SAD reviews, its really hard to accept the unfortunate downturn..I do hope it can pick up its act and shine once again as it would be a crying shame to have to close down this historic StAlbans true icon due to students going elsewhere for education.

Every experience is different but I believe sasc is a good school at least compared to other ones. But it’s not perfect no no way. A few problems being disrespectful students and weirdo annoying teachers but you get that at every school. Most coordinators are great but some have shown racially biased behaviour plus being real dramatic over socks and lateness. Lol one time my Muslim friend wore her leggings under her dress for modesty and one notoriously annoying teacher told her to take them off 💀. Just stupid stuff like that. But I think the school has great social and academic opportunities for all students and is very diverse.

I’m a fellow student at this school the dress code is outstandingly strict you have to have a certain sock spend a few hundred dollars on poor quality uniform and strict teachers. I have a teacher that says if you don’t answer the question you will get a detention to the whole class that’s because no one knows the answer like even homework you spend 6.5 hours of school a day then spend 2 hours additional at home so almost 9 hours homework shall be done at school My whole class agrees with my statements so the school shall change this dramatically. -fellow student

I’m a student here and everything about it sucks, the overpriced uniforms, saying that they care about the students while thinking black socks isn’t okay or being a minute late is bad. This is full on outrageous on how teachers care about something else more then our education.

Terrible school simply that. Staff treat students like garbage. Punishments are way to harsh you get detention if your at all late. the dread code is ridiculously strict. There are tests every second week at best. Your thrown into tests with minimal explanation. The homework is utterly ridiculous and the uniform will bankrupt any family.
