We had a horrible experience and are very disappointed with Dr Nutan’s attitude. She failed to treat the patient respectfully and fairly during the whole consultation, which made me and my partner extremely uncomfortable. Not being able to answer some of the questions we asked directly, instead, the disrespectful responses and impatience attitude at last made us feel stupid and humiliated. We believe the respect is mutual. Central Medical Clinic is a good place to visit. However, It's the worst GP experience we've ever had these years, and I can't recommend it.

I booked in to see my doctor for a renewal referral but got cancelled 2 days before Good Friday. I had to book to see another doctor which I got charged more than my usual doctor. To make matter worse, the lady at the front desk could not even claim my Medicare rebate and then printed out a wrong receipt (under my son name). I asked her to reprint but she said she couldn't and asked me to come back if I couldn't claim.

This was my first time at the clinic, Dr. Albert Wang was lovely! The receptionists - at least the two I dealt with - had a weird attitude and were passive aggressive for no reason. It soured my experience despite having a pleasant interaction with my GP.

My overall experience of building a therapeutic relationship with doctor, Victoria Dee has been truly cathartic. She has always been incredibly switched on, patient, caring and insightful each and every time. The other doctors and nurses have been good, pretty much everyone at reception has been very helpful and I value the Medicare rebate given back each and every time.

Fantastic experience here always with the doctors and nurses. But have had a recent disappointing experience with a front desk admin staff. Courtesy called the clinic to inform running late for my child’s immunisation appointment and the staff member was very rude back to me on the phone. I have happily and without complaint waited 45 minutes to see my doctor at the clinic due to them running late, but no kindness shown for me as a new mum running 10 minutes late. When I apologised to the nurse for running late and holding her up, she said she wasn’t busy at all. So the rudeness and condescending tone on the phone was not warranted. Really disappointed with the attitude of this staff member and this has completely changed my view of this once family friendly clinic that I often highly recommended to friends and family.

I had a really positive experience at my first visit to Carnegie Central Medical Clinic this afternoon. The front of house team were very responsive and considerate, and the doctor I met for the first time was kind, took the time to listen to my healthcare needs and provided me with great advice. Hoping I don’t need to go too often but planning to make this my clinic of choice whenever I need to see a GP in the future.

Dr Angus Wong is one of the most, caring, compassionate and understanding doctors I have ever met. Nothing is too much trouble, he is gentle, kind and makes you feel at ease and comfortable to tell him anything, without any judgement. The only problem is that he is so amazing, l find it hard to get an appointment with him, because obviously all his patients feel the same.

What a wonderful medical clinic!! The reception aren't great, but Dr Angus Wong makes up for it. We have been going for a few years now and he is ALWAYS caring, detailed and professional. He is never late with his appointments and would always go that extra mile when needed. Five stars purely due to him, thank you Dr !

I recently transferred to Carnegie Central Medical Clinic. The place is clean and well-maintained, and the reception staff are friendly and helpful. Likewise, I am grateful to Dr. Angus Wong for his professionalism and patience in answering all my questions. He listens to my concerns and is careful and thorough in his examinations. His calm demeanor during consultations is commendable. Dr. Wong calls and discusses my test results with me as soon as he receives them. I truly appreciate this gesture as it eases my mind. His referrals are spot-on. He is now my favorite go-to GP.

Attended Carnegie Central Medical Clinic for the first time today. Reception staff we were extremely friendly and accommodating to a last minute booking. Dr. Jeremy was similarly very friendly, professional and assisted with my issues in a timely manner.

Visited today and saw Dr Barbara Bloc who was thorough and personable and professional as always. I also had a great experience at the desk where Michael was efficient and super fun. Great work everyone as we know it can be tough some days for those who serve the public.

Dr Mark Demian is an incredible doctor. He looks after our whole family and is not only extremely knowledgeable but he is kind & compassionate. A few times we have had complex situation or emergency’s with my grandparents and Dr Mark never turns us away- he always makes the time. Could not recommend him more.

Dr A Wong is a truly compassionate and wonderful doctor. Highly rate him as one of the best GP I have had. Many thanks for all his kindness. A big asset to the Carnegie Community.

Almost an hour wait (an hour past my appointment time) to see Doctor Barbara Bloch. Upon asking how long the wait would be, I was told "she always goes over appointment times with patients ". Well, that's not really an explanation. I understand appointments may go over allocated time, but after my appointment with her, I understand why she takes so long. I was told to get blood tests, boosters for vaccines I don't need, etc etc. It felt like a cash grab. I was only in therel to get a repeat script. Staff were lovely but would not book with this doctor again. There was even a patient who walked in after me asking the wait time for this doctor as the patient had been left waiting for hours for her slot previously. A total waste of my afternoon.

My first time visit to this clinic together with my husband. We have an appointment with Dr Angus Wong, who is very patience and detailed. We were very satisfied and happy to have him as our GP as we have not been able to get a good GP who is considerate and willing to listen to the problems. A very professional doctor!!! Highly recommended Dr Angus Wong and this clinic with helpful staff too.

Carnegie Central Medical Clinic is truly exceptional. The care surpasses any other clinic I've experienced. Every staff member, from reception to doctors, has been outstanding. Although I've moved away, I make the journey back whenever I need a doctor. Dr. Angus Wong is my trusted doctor, delivering exceptional care with genuine compassion. Every-time I see him he takes the time to really understand everything that is happening with me. Today I had a Telehealth appointment with Dr. Albert Wang and he dedicated time to assist me thoroughly over the phone whilst still being caring. Dr. Victoria and Dr. Luke, whom I've seen before, also excel in their roles. Highly recommend this clinic for their remarkable service. You will be in safe hands with any doctor you visit here.

What a great medical centre! Staff are efficient, polite and caring. Dr Wong was wonderful, thorough and attentive. I am so glad that my mother is being looked after by such a great team.

Thank you for replying. The service and staff here is very friendly, however having to wait 30-45min every single time we have a booking shows that there some things need improving. Whether adding a buffer time in between each bookings or giving more realistic wait time (30 min is not 'wait a while').

It was our first time here and I’m glad I decided to look for a GP locally. Dr. Wang is amazing. Very thorough and caring which is quite rare to find nowadays with GP’s.

Having been unsuccessfully treated for an ongoing back problem by my GP of 20 years, and in almost continual pain, I was recommended to Carnegie Central Medical Clinic and Dr Luke, after my first visit my back pain was understood, a plan for on going treatment devised and appropriate pain medication commenced. My back pain will not be cured but I am confident that with Dr Luke's ongoing management I will be able to manage daily activities. Should Dr Luke not be available I have been fortunate enough to be seen by Dr Mark who has also managed my problems well. As a retired nurse I can recognize good medical care and concerned medical staff. The reception staff have always been most helpful and pleasant.

Very good health care service provider. They can be considered as a Gold standard to be followed by others. It is evident that Management give deep thoughts about the processes in place keeping patients` best interest in mind. I took my Mother and Daughter both to Dr. Angus Wong. He is very attentive, kind and easy to communicate. He explains big medical issues in a way like even a 5year old can understand. He follows up with deep care and attention, that makes you feel like a Friend/Family is following up. Pathology and Radiology are located adjacent to the service. There might be some more services. But this helps quicker diagnosis. They seem to be in sync so if any report needed faster, they co-ordinate among themselves which takes away a lot of hassle from patient and at the same time speeds up treatment. I could not recommend them more.

My family and I have been going here for over 10 years and have always received amazing medical advice and treatment. Dr Wong is excellent with kids, will listen carefully and is always very thorough. I have always left appointments feeling like I have been cared for. Thank you team, keep up the good work!

I have been going to this particular practice for almost 2 years now, and just wanted to say what a delight it has been in comparison with what feels like all other GP clinics. Further to that, could not recommend Dr Lina Landa more highly. She is so attentive and caring, and really takes the time to listen and find solutions.

One of the original patients at this wonderful clinic. Great reception staff make you welcome but it’s the Doctors who make this clinic so special. The clinic also has two nurses who do health plans and so much more. Blood tests also available. Honestly … just fantastic .. without mentioning Doctors names .. they are all excellent!

My lifelong GP recently retired (sadly), so i needed a new GP. I booked into Carnegie central medical clinic and was appointed Dr Luke Van Dr Hoeven- I was not disappointed. Dr Luke was terrific, i immediately felt at ease. I found him to be incredibly attentive, professional and kind. Very happy to say i have found my new GP! HIGHLY recommend.

Dr Luke is so thorough, kind and considerate. I asked friends for a recommendation when I recently moved to the area, and I can totally understand why they spoke so highly of him. The rest of the staff and friendly yet professional, and nothing is ever too much trouble. I highly recommend this clinic.

Received my first dose of the vaccine. It was quick and painless.

Absolutely incredible. I've been in an explosion, nearly died of several exotic illnesses, and they helped me. They're the most polite, compassionate doctors ever. None of the nasty hustle and bustle of other clinics, they take their time to explain your diagnosis, and correspond even by email when you don't have an appointment for forms as best they can! Dr Angus Wong is my GP and a favorite, but if he's unavailable I'll happily see anyone else there because the whole are just really above and beyond. I owe this clinic my life, and they're just a damn fine doctor's office.

Firstly, the reception staff at this clinic are absolutely wonderful, they are always friendly and efficient in make sure everything is in order. I’ve primarily seen Dr Mark Demian for quite a few years. Appointments run on time and I am always greeted with calm and kindness. All the doctors I have seen at this clinic are the most knowledgeable and caring I have met. Appointments never feel rushed (even when the clinic is extremely busy) & time is taken to ensure you feel reassured and treated the best way possible. It’s rare to find a group people who are not only so highly educated & knowledgeable but also compassionate & empathetic. Thank you!

This was my first time at Carnegie Medical Centre. My first impressions were good. The reception staff were friendly and professional. I saw Dr Sophie Wann. She was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and empathetic. I felt immediately comfortable with her, and she was easy to talk to. The only down side, is, that she informed me she is leaving the practice soon. I'm sure all her patients and the practice will miss her! Dr.Angus is the best doctor we've seen in the town. He is professional, always clam, good listener, always care about our health problems. I can't trust anybody after we've started seen him since 2020. Even we moved from the area, we are still visiting him. The team who is working in the clinic also very professional and helpful. I wish I could have the same clinic at Northern Suburbs in Mel.

There are so many warm and caring doctors at this practice, as well as being super professional. The practice staff are also extremely helpful. It really makes a difference for a family medical practice. We are long term patients (thank you Dr Luke in particular, you are amazing)

Dr Victoria Dee is an exceptional GP. Her attention to detail is the best I’ve experienced. Her support has been hugely beneficial to our family over the years. Dr Dee is a complete natural and has the ability to make every appointment an enjoyable one for me, my husband and our 4 year old son. Sometimes in life we get to meet special people who really do make a difference, Dr. Dee is that type of special human.

Generally busy clinic but many Doctors to choose from. Nurse and other allied health available. The Doctors are amazing, especially with younger and older clients. Front desk staff need improvement. Some conversations and frustration of phone clients are overheard in the waiting room. New imaging and diagnostic centre next door and pathology on the same floor both very helpful. Been coming here 10+ yrs.
