A wonderful experience, Dr. Sue Cherian is a highly professional, compassionate and empathetic doctor who is very experienced and knowledgeable in her craft. The best aspect about my visit was how she explained the whole process to me, she did not assume I automatically knew how certain medications work and what the pros and cons are. It’s great to be involved in my medical care, knowledge is power. I recommend Dr Sue cherian to anybody who cares about their health because she certainly does .

The ladies at reception could not be nicer, more friendly or more helpful. They do their very best to ensure that all patients are seen to on time and that all patient details are up to date. I could not speak more highly of the treatment and service provided by the High Street Medical Centre. Also the Doctor I see is very up to date with the latest in medical terminology and ensures the patient (myself) is at ease and explains everything being done is fully understood and why it is being done.

Dr Allinson is a great listener. She is friendly, patient and professional. I strongly recommend her.

I saw Dr Allan Huynh for a routine skin check. He was incredible, very thorough and made me feel comfortable throughout. Dr Allan took photos of my moles for records and explained to me what to look for when new moles appear or current moles change shape, colour or size. Left feeling pleased to not have any issues.

Dr. Sue Cherian is an incredibly caring and thorough GP. She always takes the extra time to ensure holistic support of overall health, and to explain things in a way that makes me feel informed empowered. And the clinic in general is great. Very highly recommend!

I had an appointment with Dr Zulfia Tyncher. I was greeted At reception by a very rude and blunt receptionist. Some young girl who looked about 18 was very rude and not polite whatsoever. Seems like she has an attitude problem. The dr was also very rude and blunt with me, wasn’t comforting or nice in the slightest. Will never be going back to this clinic. Poor experience

first time visit and was thoroughly impressed with the efficiency, professionalism, but also the warmth of the staff and the doctor i saw. I got into my appointment a few minutes earlier than my scheduled time, which is a rarity and left with everything i needed, all questions answered and some great advice. highly recommend

It’s never justifiable to keep someone waiting over an hour for their appointment. This is unfortunately a recurring theme with this business, and the prevailing sentiment appears to be that the doctors are superior to us mere mortals, and we should consider ourselves lucky they give us their time. Not good enough!

Every appointment I have had with Dr Joy Allison from High Street Medical Clinic over the last 15 years has been a more than positive experience . I am heard , respected and all symptoms of whatever I have presented with are explored and acted upon by this exceptional GP . I am an RN and feel very lucky to have Dr Joy Allison in my corner .

I've been seeing Dr Hok Ming Lee for 15 years, and so since he's now at High Street MC - so am I. It's been wonderful to have his consistently thoughtful, educated while relaxed approach to finding out what's wrong, and reassuring me it's all good when nothing is. Dr hok-Ming lee was attentive and explained everything so clearly. Felt like a safe space and will endeavour to make any appointments with him in the future. This mornings reception staff were also very helpful and a delight when entering and leaving.

Dr. Hok Ming Lee has got to be one of the best and most attentive doctors I have seen in a long time! He made me feel at ease, listened to my concerns, did tests and really took his time unlike other doctors who send you off with no answers. The reception staff and nurse were also great, booking was super easy to make online and clinic is new and very clean. Would definitely recommend

Dr Audrey Ting is one of the best medical practitioners I've come across in this city. She's patient, thorough, knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease. She doesn't just give you a quick fix for the acute problem, she looks into the root cause and gives you advice on managing the issue as a whole. In my experience, it is extremely difficult to find genuinely good doctors. I've been very impressed by Dr Ting and am grateful that I've found a doctor I trust in the area.

My experience was positive and in the first instance I was following Dr Paul Harms to his new surgery as are all of his former patients at Edmund Rice Community at 35 Westbury Street St Kilda East! However, the response to a reasonable parking, well-maintained facilities, friendly receptionists was positive too. A positive move from 116 Punt Road which was not satisfactory. Just posting a review on behalf of my mum Elizabeth Patrick who attended the clinic for the first time today. Dr Joy Allinson didn’t keep her waiting like she’s experienced many times with GP’s, is a nice person and was very attentive re her needs. Hopefully she has finally found a GP who she can work out a plan with to achieve her health goals.

The receptionist was cheerful and welcoming. Dr Lee was dismissive and disinterested. He gave me about five minutes. Although he renewed my usual prescriptions, he wasn’t interested in reviewing a recent pathology test he had ordered, and he showed no interest whatever in updating details of a new specialist I had been referred to. The only time he was animated was to tell me sharply twice: “close the door behind you” which I intended to do anyway!

I originally started visiting the High Street Medical Clinic many years ago purely for my annual skin checks. At that time my G.P. of 30 years standing was in another suburb closer to my home. It was at the High Street Clinic that I became greatly impressed by their friendly service and willingness to accommodate any requests. It is now more than three years since I moved all of my medical requirements to High Street and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. During the Corvid pandemic, the Clinic contacted me regarding the availability of the various vaccinations as they became available. I greatly appreciate the fact that the Clinic also goes out of its way to offer associated government funded services such as bone density tests and other age related initiatives and it bulk bills me as appropriate without me requesting it. When you have a Doctor who listens to you and that doctor treats you with dignity and professionalism you are very fortunate. I have been attending Doctor Zulfia Tyncherov since 2013 when she was at Chapelgate Medical Centre, and have followed her guidance at High Street Medical since 2022. I highly recommend her.

I see Dr. Allan Huynh here at HSMC. He’s great. Very thorough, great communication, and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Huynh. My wife and I have had good experiences with other docs at HSMC too.

Dr Hok-Ming Lee was absolutely amazing. Gave a good thorough investigation into my condition and also discussed in detail another issue which I had questions about. Very kind and helpful. Will definitely return if ever needed again.

Beautiful reception staff and Dr Allinson is always amazing. She is compassionate, kind, caring, and wholistic in her approach. By taking an interest in what is happening in your life, she helps not only with the physical ailment or injury but you always leave a consultation knowing that she really does care about her patients.

My visit to High Street Medical was a very pleasant one. My GP, Dr Guy Unmack, was most helpful and easy to talk to. I came away with all the relevant paperwork I needed and an understanding of what I needed to do or focus on in the next few months.

I've been with HSMC for nearly 30 years as it was recommended by a colleague at the time & it was close to work. It is a long time not close to work or to home but I still will not change. There's a good reason for that - consistency in doctor/s, very caring & thorough consultations, a range of specialisations & efficient & friendly admin staff. Highly recommend.

Joy Allinson is always a delight to deal with!! I’ve been with this clinic for over 18 years now and will not move anywhere else (even though we have moved house miles away)! The team are always very good to deal with - Helen on reception and a few of the nurses, you always feel very looked after and to an extra level of “care” 👍🏻 10/10

In response to the below, I called to confirm my husbands appointment to which the rude lady told me there was no appointment for my husband. I said to her I confirmed multiple times it should be there. She insisted there was no appointment. I then cancelled my own appointment as I had to book elsewhere. 2 hours later my husband got a text for his appointment. Incompetent staff. First the time was incorrect then the lady couldn't be bothered even looking to see if my husband was booked as he clearly was so I had to look elsewhere as like I said, I'm moving overseas. I spent 2 hours yesterday calling around. Complete waste of time. Also I did have an appointment it's very strange that you all of a sudden don't have any record at all. See photo attached. Horrible place do NOT recommend. Stuffed up the appointments I made for my husband and I. We're moving overseas and I had to call to make a skin check appointment a couple of weeks ago. I confirmed multiple times that an appointment was made for my husband and I at 1.15pm to which the girl confirmed. I then get a text message today saying my appointment is at 3pm and no mention about my husband. I call to an extremely long wait time and then very rude lady who said there is no appointment for my husband and my appointment is at 3pm. No apology or anything. I'm on a tight schedule and booked everything in advanced to ensure we have everything done before we fly. This is very inconvenient as no where else have appointments now. Not even 1 apology was made to me. Would NOT recommend.

Dr Suzanne Field is one of the best GP’s I have ever seen. She’s very professional, thorough and knowledgeable and at the same time is very caring and compassionate. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good doctor. Both myself and my daughter see her and have always had such a wonderful experience. Even though I don’t like going to the doctor I do look forward to seeing her as I know she always makes me feel safe and heard and never judged.

Clean, modern clinic with friendly staff and a good GP. Well, I only see my doctor, so can't comment on anyone else. Easy to book online, and the only reason I gave it just 4 stars is because of too many notifications about my appointment - 3 emails and 4 texts, even after I confirmed I was coming!

I had a really wonderful experience today, my first visit to HSMC, Dr Spottiswood was proactive and thorough, as well as making me feel completely comfortable and at ease and checking in with me at every step and making sure I understood what was going on. Recommend!

All of the staff at this clinic are friendly, helpful, capable, proficient and communicative. If you haven't had a skin check in the last year now is the time to book yourself in for 'Mole mapping' which may save you from the agony of melanoma in time - and it is not just the oldies who get them.

Great place with all medical facilities under one roof. I have been going here to see My GP for over 20 years and have always received amazing service. At times I have also seen other doctors and I found them all to be very thorough and caring so I would definitely recommend this clinic.
