A gem of a B&B which we found. Reasonable prices and great service and support. Location is fair (close to the beach). Dirk (Host and manager) was great. Rooms are enjoyable and clean. Breakfasts were delicious. Showers also worked well. All-in-all a “yes”.

Very friendly owners and a gorgious B&B less than a 100 meters from the amazing beaches and sunset. Will definitly recommend to everyone looking for great value for money. @Sandcastle B&B you will definitly be seeing a lot more of me 😁

Phenomenal! Place was beautiful and well kept,very neat and tidy. Rooms were spacious and very child friendly. Warm atmosphere and the host was amazing and very accommodating. Great value for money too and close to the beach and restaurants etc. Not a long drive from Cape Town,about 40 minutes. Highly recommended 👌

I was there on the bussines trip. Landlord is very sympatic and friendly, very happy to help you. Breakfast is ok, landlord can surprise you with the change.

On arrival you have to squeeze your hand through a wire mesh to manipulate a stubborn bolt mechanism... Then climb an uneven and rickety staircase to emerge into very plain, undecorated kitchen and hall area, no decorative touches throughout. No soap/gels in the bathroom, shower or kitchen. Inside braai area is very functional but plain. The deck from the bedroom looks over backyards and rooftops with a small view of the sea. Breakfast was plain and tasteless and unimaginative. However, Bedding and linnen are excellent and there is ample space for a large entourage. Overall it is Poor value.

Dirk was the best host. I highly recommend this B&B Dirk made us feel welcome and at home from the moment we walked in. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful night's rest. The place is neat and has stunning views on the top balcony. ✨️ The beach is just a short walk around the corner. The breakfast was perfect! Dirk was up early to make us a wonderful breakfast! Was beautiful room my new husband thought it was funny to wipe his finger over the top of a photo frame and I kid you not but not a oz of dust ! Was so clean ! Dirk was an amazing host! Done a lovely breakfast in the morning and was so welcoming and polite would definitely stay here again !

What a wonderful stay! Rooms are beautifully decorated and has everything you need and more. Dirk is the kindest host and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. Breakfast was great!

Superb B&B on the periphery of the hustle and bustle of Cape Town. You can use it as a launch point for sight seeing in Cape Town, only to retire to the safety of this lovely spot. The B&B has gone through a refurbishment and it has brought it back to its glory days of15 years. Dirk the manager is fantastic. He could not do enough for me, as I was arriving late (23:00) and despite the loadshedding in progress, the wifi was working, I had light and there was hot water for a shower. The next day I had a late breakfast without any fuss (some B&B's have very strict rules) and I was able to pre-arrange a late check out. All in all, it was a superb arrival, and nothing can beat the positive aspect of things going right, on entry only to set the tone for the rest of the stay.
