Only thing i liked is Lumiere special fried rice. It was really tasty and worth the try. Beef ribs were very hard also ordered muyal roast same condition for that too.. too hard to chew. Dishes are expensive and quantity is too less... Overall not a good experience. The ambience was too good and there is adequate parking space too. But food 👎

Good food, great ambience, responsive staff, but extremely delayed service. It takes an hour or two to serve on table after you order. So the positive side is that you get a lot of time to chat with your friends or family. Downside is you can't make it to your next destination if you are on strict schedule. Overall a good, clean restaurant for laid back chill nights with a group of friends/family.

Great ambience in both interiors and outer dining set up. They have a well sorted menu with a considerable variety of dishes including താറാവ്(Duck) and മുയൽ(Rabbit) . Costumer service is also commendable.

We went to this place by seeing it's eco friendly pictures on reviews, this place was beyond our expectations, the place was aesthetically appealing, the ambience while sitting there was unlike any other urban restaurant.If I say you won't understand it, you need to feel it by yourself. There is dining in indoor and outdoor, we were in outdoor, there is no rush in restaurant, very less people were there. We gave the order peri peri chicken and parotta.The staff behaviour was exceptionally good and there was no delay in serving the food, it hardly took 5mins to them to serve. The parotta in there was hot and crispy, the peri peri chicken had it's own flavour, it was hot and well cooked, we liked it, mayonnaise was good and thick, gravy was also good, with that was ambience we filled our mind and belly with happiness... If you're a person who likes peaceful place to eat with no rush or like to have private space (there are rooms inside with dining) then this is the place to come.The pricing was comparable with other restaurants, it was neither high or less.There is good amount of parking area provided. I think this is one of the underrated restaurant in trivandrum. I would like to visit here some other time and try other dishes. Food hunt continues...

First time in Le Lumiere and We have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The Chicken Dishes N Fish Items are to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Great place if you are looking for ambience. Service is pathetic. Most of the items mentioned were not available during our visit. Waiter will just take the order and will ignore you till the end. Food took approximately 45 minutes. May be they don’t have enough man power to manage. Food is alright. Nothing great . price was alright, not very expensive.

The atmosphere and ambience was really good. But the staffs!! We waited almost an hour for a table and another hour for food. If you are busy and choosing a place for some quick food never ever go there. It took too much time that we even have to cancel some orders. And food too just an average. It was Not even hot. We went at 8.30pm and asked for some hot beverages and they said everything was over.

Waste food … I’ve ordered fruit salad and fry biryani with egg but no egg is given and taste is also bad and chicken is very hard to bite and chew… and coming to fruit salad it is worst all rotten fruits are added into it and no proper packing for both food items … biryani rice is not good broken rice and it is not good to eat… fruit salad with icecream is not eye catching too and overpriced but no taste,no nice packing, no nice presentations too…. Truly faking customers by their images and combos but not up to the mark…

The main reasons why we chose to eat at Lu Lumiere were because, we heard that the food was good 🤤, and the prices💵 were reasonable, and the atmosphere was festive😊. When we arrived, we were surprised to see an empty restaurant. But the twist was as we entered you could find different kinds of ambiences throughout.The host asked us where we would like to sit and we choose in the back near a window🌙. The restaurant looked like it was just pulled out of a nature🏞️. The entire restaurant was greeny like a garden🌿, it was really festive, but not what you would expect from a fifties restaurant . The best thing by far was the attentiveness of the waiter. As time went on, people started to show up and the place seemed less empty. The amount of food we were served was great🍛! By the time we were half way through the meal, I couldn't eat another bite🍖. The food was given to us fresh, hot and steamy from the kitchen🍲.

With a pinch of extra spice in everything, the dishes are delicious, but pricey. I ordered the Rabbit pepper roast, and it came as 4 pieces of partial meat and bone, roasted in all the secret spices. We also ordered the honey chicken, ehich againwas just 5-6 pieces of bony chicken pieces sauteed in a truckload if oil. Both dishes were expertly done in terms of taste, but prices summed up to Rs 650 just for the two. Parathas were hot toasted and freshly done. But the outlet is a great restaurant that is located on the downslope of the Barton hillock. The Le Lumiere restaurant is spread over several steps of downslope in pockets and pieces. They've got indoor dining spaces and outdoor cabanas. The outdoor cabanas have a moderately done ambience, and the indoors are a revamped traditional construction, that above-average aesthetically. The flaw is that it's too crowded. A havoc of overflowing population during weekends and a noisy environment. The noise is mainly from the crowd, and on top of that, they've got unsettling music in the background. Within the indoor dining, one would be squirming through the inflow and outflow of crowd. We waiting through the crammers for our table for 10 minutes. But nonetheless, food was satisfying and that's what counts most.

Amazing underrated food spot in Trivandrum. It has outdoor and indoor spaces. The outdoor ambience is awesome. We tried Beef Pal Kizhi porotta, Swarga Kozhi, Muyal Perattu , Chicken Lollipop, Beef roast and Peri Peri Chicken Wrap. All are good. Swarga Kozhi is a buttery gravy and it is very delicious 😋. I have tried Chicken chatti chor and that was also very tasty. Mojitos are a little expensive but they are worth it. Nice photo spots are there and we can enjoy our time very well.

Food is not that great compared to its price! The atmosphere and ambience is awesome. Food doesn't taste good and also the menu items are expensive.Also I felt that the quantity of items are not adequate enough considering it's price. The place is good enough to host small parties.

Good ambience and calm place. Food was okay. Lot of parking but would be difficult for elder people since you have to climb down to the restaurant. Kids would be happy by seeing the rabbits,pigeons and love birds over there.

Had a family dinner... The ambience & food was awesome.. Good for children as they have some pets & aquarium as well as something for kids to play around.. Above all the service provided was excellent..The waiting time was also not too much..Even though we had chosen an outdoor hut we did not experience any mosquito issues despite being there by 7pm.Mr.Nithin who had served our table was very courteous and service minded and took time to explain dishes & gave suggestions.. He was very accommodative of the requests of our kids and acted promptly. His attitude was really commendable especially considering this was his last day at work which he had conveyed during our conversation.. Kudos to him and the Team of Le lumiere

Parking for 8-10 cars only. Park on the road for tension free exit otherwise other cars might block your exit. Order taking is erroneous, ensure they repeat the order. Service is not upto the mark compared to the ambience. Kids swings and other playthings are there. U might need them as waiting time is too much and will test the patience of the whole family. A bit spicy. Anyway try once n decide yourself.

Food and experience is good. Parking space is a bit limited. Variety dishes available. Kids will like to go as there is variety of pet birds placed to watch.

Ambiance is commendable! And their chicken chuttiyathu is a must try. Chicken pal kizhi porotta and Beef pal Kizhi is just average. Service was also good.

They have indoor as well as outdoor seating, and beautiful gigantic pet fish. We are outdoors, the ambience is lovely. Their pathiri is the softest and thinnest I have ever eaten. Biryani was excellent too. The rest of the food was tasty, service was very good. They provided a tall stool for the kid.

It's quite the hang out place with a whole property dedicated to the restaurant. But just in front of the restaurant there is this garbage bin which is quite stenchy as well, though it may not affect the customers down at the actual restaurant, which is far far away from this bin. But still if it's the first thing you notice when you enter a restaurant may not be good for them. (Hopefully it's removed by now) Anyway, the ambience is quite good. But food could be a bit better, I think. May be it's just my taste preferences. Service is great, though the barers were quite busy, they do come to check on us frequently...

First off all ambience was good. Food pathetic ordered kuttanadan mutton roast and parotta. Mutton was too salty and for 339 full of bones no flavour no taste. Parotta was average. Total disappointment. No value for money😡.

Family restaurants are not just about food. Starting with car parking - we ended up parking on road side. Fist experience inside - The guy at reception try not to answer the booking status or commit seat availability status. He's busy with phone calls and chatting. This needs a quick fix, else this place will become forgotten soon.

Booking - They don't have booking but since we have children with us the guy whom we contacted mention we will reserve seats, when informed on arival they didn't know about the booking and by luck we got seat. Ambience - superb place and well lit place even hanging out @night is great. Service - the service is just great, the ordered items didnt take up much time to reach our tables. Food - Not up to the mark, the starters were good but the person explaining about the dish don't have much knowledge about the dish. we ordered piri piri alfaham without cheese , but the dish came out burnt alfaham with lots of cheese. One should visit this place just to chill out with friends and family the Ambience and the vibe is just fabulous, please make sure the dishes are explained to the guest properly and the taste.
