My friend who had been here recommended to me to try lunch with family. Waited for the time and went there on 23rd June 2022 by 2pm with family of 6 including me. If u are a pack of less than 5 people, you won't be having much waiting time. Because there are only 2 tables to accommodate more than 4 people and rest are for 4 people seating. It's a chaotic environment in my view with fully occupied seats and so many waiting for tables like in wedding food hall. Added to it so many servers and management people. Since many people come here for their lunch meals, we need to get a token by prepayment before looking out for table. So, we paid for food without no idea of waiting time and where to sit. Some management person helped us to get a table. So we waited for about 20 mins to get the 8 seater table. Soon as we are seated, meal tokens collected after verifying and started serving. Service was so good and hospitality was great. I liked all the types of veg served and the curry. Loved them all. Absolutely a feast. Loved the details like ghee, extra apalam and timely service. We are from tamil nadu so we had white rice and it's good as well. Finally the hero of the menu, payasams came. I recommend to have smaller quantities, so that you can taste all of them. Take ur time and don't bother the people waiting for ur table. U paid for it and u deserve ur time in ur table and for food on ur vazhai ilai. Restroom was not enough for the crowd they facing i would say. Finally, u get autos here often if u need them. We went to zoo from here to digest the enormous food from here and overall completely satisfied

This hotel offers Sadhya as lunch priced at Rs.240 on all days. Sometimes customer will have to wait to get a seat during peak hours. Excellent food, very tasty and three varieties of payasam. During evening varieties of dosa are available, which is also tasty. Parking available for about 20 cars. Which is not at all enough. People coming inbetween our dining also was uncomfortable. Food is undoubtedly the best meals in TVM.

Adipwoli sadhya!! The sadhya is served in a huge washed banana leaf with 4 payasams (adaprathaman, paruppu, pal Adaprathaman, semiya) and boli at 250 rupees!! The food is served hot and has quite a spread (literally!) The only difficulty is finding seats, and finding parking. It’s sooo paackedddd!! It’s insane!! It’s all worth it tho!! Delicious food!! Highly recommended!!

will get authentic Kerala sadhiya here. Good service 275 for one sadhiya, including four types of payasam. The negative thing is that the restaurant is too crowded. minimum of half an hour is required to obtain a seat.

Food taste and varieties is the main attraction of this restaurant. Noodles Dosa, Jini Dosa, Choclate Dosa etc... are must try options. Waiting time may make you feel bad.. at times. Service people lack professional approach. A crowd management system like token based or a waiting hall may be suggested....

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. The food was extremely amazing with varieties of Kerala special items that were all vegetarian. I missed their special Sadhya Thali which is only served during lunch but yet I'm happy with their Jain food options. The staff is super polite and friendly, they give the best recommendations to try new items. I am so glad that I decided to visit this place despite it being far away from the hotel.

It is undoubtedly one of the best all vegetarian restaurants in all of trivandum. It was well recommended across different websites on internet & we found it to be true. We tried different things here including South Indian dishes to simple paneer preparation with roti. Coffee deserves a special recommendation, we all loved the coffee served here. We went here twice, one during dinner & the other in the afternoon. At dinner time, all the items are served while during lunch, many options are restricted & mostly lunch meal is served. Lunch meal is most sought after also. Both of the times, we found people waiting for tables. It contains different items served in banana leaf.

Very bad management. Customer has to find the seats. No first come first serve. No professionalism at all. People literally argue sometimes for seats. Food is really good though. Ambience is not at all great as fully crowded and suffocating.

Must visit place Your Kerala visit is incomplete without visiting and trying the Sadhya thali here 250Rs and I would say it is worth the price They had almost at least 5 pickles, 5 chutneys, 8 subji, 2 rice, sambar etc 3 types, 4 paysums They also go by sequence teaching what to be eaten with which items Just that the paysums are kept linked qty which I didn't expect and didn't really like Too crowded and service is just ok, not great No management and arrangement for space/table allotment

What I loved here the most was the quality of ingredients used in all the items we tried. Taste wise this would have been like any average south indian restaurant, but instead with each bite you can feel the richness of good quality ingredients used in making it. This place is best known for the sadya at lunch time. But the breakfast is something that need to be explored more here. I

My friends and I had breakfast here in the morning. It was very tasty, and the quality and quantity were far superior. The service is extremely fast. Many Vloggers come here, and you might run into one of them. Wheelchair friendly There is parking available. The service is extremely quick. Delicious is a good word. Quantity is advantageous. The price is reasonable in relation to the taste and quantity. If you go, you must try the Jinnu Dosa.

If you want to taste authentic Thiruvananthapuram sadhya, then this is your right spot. Mother's veg plaza serves Thiruvananthapuram sadhya throughout the year. The best place for a vegetarian. In addition, they serve different varieties of dosas too. The sadhya costs Rs.230 per person. Parking is an issue here. If it is a busy day, then you might not find a space to park your vehicle. Gini dosa and pizza dosa were really good. You could try it once.

Recently visited Mother's Veg Plaza and ordered normal ghee dosa, masala dosa, and their special jini dosa, along with tea and pineapple juice. Although the tea was nice and tasty, the three dosas we ordered were not very good. The taste of the masala and ghee dosas was different from other hotels, and they lacked variety in taste. The special jini dosa was not that special and was decent for a one-time try. Unfortunately, the juice was also not good and had a bad taste. However, the service at this restaurant was a positive aspect. Despite being crowded during my visit, the girl who served us provided excellent service and was there for everything. The parking facilities were not very good, with only space for five or six cars. It's worth noting that the high Google review rating of this restaurant may be due to their sadya, which I haven't had the chance to try yet. Overall, I don't think this restaurant's rating is worth it based on my recent visit.

One of the best sadyas I've had in my life. Everything from the dishes to the Payasam was very tasty. It gets very crowded during lunch, so make sure to reach early. Not too expensive for the quality food they offer. Really nice service too. 5 stars!

One of the best vegetarian restaurant in Palayam. I ordered Chana battura and butter masala Dosa. The food was just superb. I liked Chana battura more. There is abundant parking option for your car and bike. If you are coming on bus, you have to get off at bakery junction and then walk. The cleanliness of toilet and restroom are also good. The service and ambience was also very good.

I had Jini dosa and Maggie dosa from here. The taste of the sauce was prominent in both the dishes, due to which I couldn't differentiate the taste of both. I visited this place with high expectation of tasting some quality vegetarian dishes, but it was a disappointing visit. At last the Tea came as a relief, Tea was much better compared to the other two dishes. Wash area and washroom are hygienic.

The food was okay. It's all about individual perception. So many varieties of side dishes and stew. It's okay for those who really like food and sweets. The ambiance inside the restaurant was nice. The food service was really great. It is more expensive than other normal restaurants near it. Parking is a real challenge here.

This best Onam Sadya Kerala Lunch in entire Thiruvananthapuram. It is available 365 days a year and priced at ₹250, it’s a great value for money as well. It gets so crowded and you have to stand in queue to get token. All the items served on traditional banana leaf were delicious and adequate. The best part is 4 types of payasam along with the instructions to eat them. The flavours were so good. We absolutely loved it! Highly recommend to add this experience to your Thiruvananthapuram bucket list!!

I'm afraid you took my order wrong . I asked for paneer pulao. But you gave me some weird raisin pulao with bits of paneer. Why on earth is all the raisins in your shop on my plate? One spoon of rice has 4 to 5 raisins. How am I supposed to eat this? It's okay if you put a fair amount. Why do you do this?!!!!!

A family resturant for the veg lovers to taste very traditional Kerela food. Food was quite decent and heavy as they have wide varieties to serve you in banana leafy. You need to buy a coupon from counter before you sit on a table & that will cost you 240/- each. You should occupy the seat yourself to have your food as this hotel is much crowded and doesn’t reserve you a table. Owner were very kind to check if you have everything in your leaf or you need something again. For food is 4 star and for ambience 3.5 star. Happy fooding !

Title: A Delightful Culinary Journey at Mothers Veg Plaza! Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Review: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mothers Veg Plaza, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! This restaurant truly deserves all the praise for its outstanding Kerala Sadhya and delectable variety of dosas. First and foremost, let me start with the Kerala Sadhya. It was an absolute feast for the senses! The aroma of freshly cooked spices and the vibrant colors of the different curries instantly transported me to the beautiful land of Kerala. Each dish was prepared with utmost care and authenticity, reflecting the rich culinary traditions of the region. From the flavorful avial to the creamy olan and the tangy sambhar, every bite was a burst of flavors. The highlight was undoubtedly the fragrant steamed rice served on a banana leaf, which added an extra touch of authenticity to the entire experience. It's evident that the chefs at Mothers Veg Plaza have perfected the art of creating an exceptional Sadhya. The variety of dosas offered at Mothers Veg Plaza is truly impressive. Whether you're a fan of the classic masala dosa or looking for something more adventurous like the cheese or paneer dosa, this place has got you covered. The dosas were perfectly crispy on the outside, and the fillings were generously portioned, making each bite absolutely delightful. The accompanying coconut chutney and sambar were the perfect accompaniments, adding a burst of flavors to the already amazing dosas. I can confidently say that the dosas at Mothers Veg Plaza are among the best I've ever had. In addition to the extraordinary food, the service at Mothers Veg Plaza was impeccable. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was memorable and comfortable. Overall, my visit to Mothers Veg Plaza was a gastronomic adventure filled with authentic flavors and a warm dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an exceptional Kerala Sadhya or craving a variety of mouthwatering dosas. Mothers Veg Plaza truly deserves all the accolades for their outstanding food, attentive service, and inviting ambiance. I cannot wait to return for another delightful culinary journey! Note: This review is based on my personal experience and reflects my honest opinion.

If you are looking for authentic kerala vegetarian food in Thiruvananthapuram then this is the place. The food is very good, service is great and staff is very polite and friendly. I ordered their special veg thali and it was worth it. They served it on banana leaf. Staff told about each ingredient while serving it and how to eat that also. Overall a great experience

A very busy outlet, even at 10pm on a Saturday night. This place has tonnes of dosa varieties to choose from that might leave one fatigued to decide! The tables are quite close to each other and it feels congested. The service is poor- the cleaning staff who behaved unprofessionally, to the waiting staff who sometimes don’t understand or don’t pay heed to what we order, they need a good mentor and guide. We ordered up a few varieties including butter masala dosa, mother’s special masala dosa and one more- forgot the last name. Dosas were good and it was served with 3 cups of accompaniments- coconut chutney, tomato chutney and Sambar, all were good. The dosas were a bit thick, so is filling. What was surprising was how they chop us dosas into 3 or 4 pieces and serve, though it felt weird when compared to dosas served as whole, it was much easier to share.

It's good sometimes. And almost rush ,may not get food if you are busy. Sometimes I felt too late to serve food after taking. We think it might be taken for its preparation. Even though, after getting food , getting more or another things is too late , might not good experience for everyone. Customer's friendly is the better idea to develop any business.

The food is amazing and tasted incredible. Truly loved the experience as staff were really friendly and polite. Every Rupee spent is worthwhile as you will continuously receive good portions of food - it keeps coming! After receiving the main dish - rice with a variety of veg sides, you’ll be offered four types of payasam to help satisfy your sweet tooth😊

  • 5/5 Sajin S. 10 months ago on Google
I've been there multiple times, and today I had their famous Sadhya. Let me tell you, it was a delightful experience. The Sadhya consisted of a wide variety of dishes, such as aviyal, thoran, koottucurry, pickles, chips, sarkaravaratti, rasam, moru, curd, pappadam, banana, and four types of payasam. Every dish was exceptionally good, but the payasam was the real highlight. I highly recommend trying the ada payasam with banana and the semiya payasam with both. Trust me, it will satisfy your taste buds and leave you completely satiated. The ambiance of the restaurant is decent, with a seating capacity of over 50 people. However, it can get quite busy during lunch hours, and you may have to wait for a while and sit wherever a seat is available. Despite that, the service is quick and efficient. The washroom and wash area are well maintained, adding to the overall cleanliness of the place. The only drawback I noticed is the parking situation. There's limited space in front of the restaurant, allowing only 2-3 cars to be parked. I'm not sure if they have a dedicated parking area, so that might be a concern for some. Nevertheless, the restaurant is easily accessible and worth a visit. The Sadhya, priced at Rs. 242, including taxes, may seem a bit steep, but trust me, it's worth every penny. If you're in Trivandrum and looking for a fantastic vegetarian dining experience, this restaurant is definitely a must-try.

Ordered the Sadhya from this place and boy what an experience it was for me! While my friend kept explaining the different items on the menu, I kept gorging on the dishes...Loved the variety of payasams, the pickles and the khichadi. The place was quite crowded even for a weekday lunch.
