Went with young granddaughter on Sunday and was disappointed at the parks equipment maintenance .both seesaw and roundabout were nearly impossible to use . definitely need lubricant.otherwise nice to have fun in safe place to let off steam

It's OK. The old part of the park needs swings as they have been gone for months, maybe a year or so now... It's a bit of a faff as some of the park is fenced off, and the other is open I get that the old park might be for toddlers, but kidds run in and out of both areas very fast ..

Parks really good however the amount of teenagers I've encountered chucking their litter on the floor is disgusting. There are bins at the park so no excuses really

Has had some good investment over the years, and it's nice to finally see it getting plenty of use. It could do with a bit of lighting, though, to allow certain areas of it to be more accessible later on

One of four connected park areas (New Park, Wilton Park, Priors Close and Play Close park). Play close has children's play area, a drinks kiosk (open certain times of year) a large grass area and a few benches. No toilets, nearest are Wilton Road opposite Wetherspoons (30p charge applies or Radar key accessible disabled facilities available).

A beautiful park in Melton, beautiful trees and nicely maintained. A small park, but lots of events are held there. I recently visited for the vintage weekend which was spectacular!

Nice green focal point for the town, but needs more lighting along paths as it is pitch black at night and one feels quite vulnerable if walking alone.

Super park and Showground right next to St. Mary's Church and but a short stroll from the town centre. It has a convenient carpark adjacent. I visited for the second year for their 1940's Weekend a great event well worth attending.

Great park for all the family and pets with inclusive play equipment, refresment kiosk, band stand with free summer Sunday concerts, lake with wildlife trail and activity, skateboard ramp. Large central grassy area and shady paths as well as sunny walkways and plentiful benches to rest a while and watch. Events on throughout the year such as last night's Halloween bonfire, fireworks and fun fair with fancy dress competition.

Great park, close to town centre and good size. Good range of activities: two kids play areas, an outdoor gym, large pond, skatepark, river bank, band stand, large playing fields, cafe with cobs and ice creams etc, and lovely views of the church. Do have to pay for parking, but worth it

Lovely park. Well maintained by the Town Estate. Please do more to build and maintain places like this in and around Melton. Keep the environmentally damaging and community destroying house building away.

Always like the park It's always clean and tidy The kids parks on both side are great The train at weekends is £2 a go but you go round twice Plenty of room for picnic The ice cream are lovely from there The only down side is not much shelter when it's really hot

A popular pretty park for families or individuals alike, with playground attractions, bandstand with live music every other Sunday at 3 pm. Kiosk serving teas, coffees etc, light snacks and lollies, ice cream, competitive prices. Some benches to sit upon or grassy area for picnics and resting. Some wildlife areas of ponds with ducks and swans and river nearby. Mature trees in idyllic setting.

This is a lovely park with lots of different sections to explore. You pay for parking, but it's reasonable. Coming out of the car park there is a little cafe and tennis courts. Then over the little bridge you'll see a river and about 3 different parks. Plus walks toward a pretty old church. We had a lovely time there, lots of grass for picnics and an ice cream place that does other refreshments. Recommended!
