A real nice chill spot. The bartender was very knowledgeable and picked out perfect drinks for us. The couches and TV were great for the atmosphere. The only complaint was the smell from the hot garbage outside.

This is my first time doing to the Belle Tavern after COVID. We ordered the chargrilled oysters, the prime burger and a couple of drinks. It was a hair in my friend's Little Lilly. The bartender was like oh no! But replace it. I ordered The business, my glass had a dried film around the rim, when i asked him he said they dip the glass in something so whatever. The burger was ok, a little overcooked for medium, but no big deal but the fries were way too salty. The cook said it was the salt in the truffle oil and the bartender said they probably didn't cleaned them bowl before tossing the fries. Salt and oil don't mix, they're not chemically alike. I'm sorry I didn't leave a tip, 20% gratuity was enough

A hole-in-the-wall alley tavern that's easy to miss unless you're looking for it, with a remarkable collection of spirits and a very pleasant atmosphere! I don't like drinking without food, and so I ordered an Old Ezra with some crawfish hush puppies as my supper, and while it's nothing to write home about, it hit the spot. All in all, great way to bring the buddies after work!

Spent the weekend in Memphis and was looking for a place to have a drink not on Beale Street. We ended up here and we’re pleasantly surprised. The drinks were good, the service better. We wish we had waited to eat here because our new bar friends said the food was some of the best in downtown Memphis.

Excellent grilled salmon. Excellent whiskey selection. Good beer. Solicitous, knowledgeable bar tender. Excellent Bee's Knees cocktail, and they with their own oak barrel-aged Barr Hill honey Gin, and they donated $2 to the Bee Conservancy. So responsible. I need to go back and donate more

Really just repeating what others have already said. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great food and drink. A place that makes you feel like you just experienced Memphis.

Nice place to have a drink but ... Might want to ask them to hold back on the rock salt we had so much salt on our burgers it was terrible it was crunching in our mouths. (The bartender said oh they do tend to get carried away with the salt ha ha) Not to mention sitting at the bar they add 20% to your check whether you're 2 or 6 people paying cash. We're good tippers they would have gotten 30% if they would not have added the tip in the bill.

Great cocktails and excellent whiskey selection, in including some Suntory favorites like Hibiki and Hakushu. If you're hungry, do yourself a favor and get the Original Stone Hero sandwich - absolutely top notch.

Loved their Old Fashioned, but their chile infused Spicy Margarita put my away. Not that difficult of place to find if you just head down the alley. I’ll be back next time I’m in Memphis. And I’ll Bring an appetite to try the food.

This one was recommended by a local as a place to get some great drinks. The menu does not disappoint. The prices are a bit high but the drinks were all amazing. The bartender (possible owner?) stopped by our table to chat and we enjoyed listening to his stories on how cocktails were concocted. we did notice people getting food from a nearby restaurant. It was a hopping place down an alley that you could almost miss! Great decor, worth a stop for at least one drink.

This place is just awesome. Shelby and Clayton made this Memphis visit worth while. The southern hospitality, knowledge and friendly service was all I could ask for without asking. We stopped in to have a few drinks to celebrate my birthday and this was a horrible experience. The bartenders had no idea what alcohol they had and had no idea how to make their signature cocktails. In addition, they are switching alcohol bottles. I ordered my favorite bourbon and not sure what they gave me but it definitely wasn't what I ordered. Definitely don't recommend. In addition not being told upfront about an auto-gratuity meant the bartender got half the tip they would have otherwise.

First time in found the place because of the bubble machine, loved the service and atmosphere. Didn't have any food this time but will be back for that.

Went there on a Saturday night and it was awesome. I had a long tea they made by mistake and ended up getting 3 more. They were awesome!! Staff was even better. I will be going back next time I go to Memphis!!

Was in Memphis on vacation, and Belle Tavern was recommended by the waiter at the steak house we ate dinner at. And the recommendation did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, and the selection of whiskey and specialty drinks was wonderful. I will definitely return next time we are in Memphis.

Great service better drinks

3 whiskey old fashioned did not disappoint nor did their version of a fried green tomato BLT. Thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely go again!

Nice place, down an ally. Nice drinks a bit pricey. There is a lot of good choice of whiskey from all over the world. I would have stayed for longer but had a booking to go to. Staff were friendly, it was getting busy as we left and that was around 6pm.

They've got really good, unique cocktails made with high quality liquors and mixers and a chill atmosphere.

A small group of coworkers happened upon Belle Tavern while downtown. We were perfectly content to have a few drinks and hang out but the man announcing British Bingo urged us to play along. So glad we did! Such a fun game and awesome atmosphere. One of the bartenders recommended drinks for some of us that were incredible. I would highly recommend returning and especially on a British Bingo night!!
