My
son
and
I
came
here
to
eat
April
6
2022..
When
we
arrived
we
were
greeted
by
a
Ms
Tasha
Drain
who
claims
to
be
the
shift
manager
for
17
years
here.
I
asked
Ms
Tasha
about
the
stew
and
gumbo…She
said
they
were
both
good.
I
asked
could
I
sample
them
both
before
I
purchase
to
ensure
I
wouldn’t
waste
my
money
or
their
food
in
case
I
didn’t
like
them….
She
said
I
couldn’t
sample
either
I
would
have
to
order
them
to
try
them…
I
informed
her
that
it
didn’t
make
sense
to
do
that
because
I
was
only
going
to
send
it
back
if
I
didn’t
like
it…
She
said
well
since
I
told
her
that
was
my
plan
that
I
wouldn’t
be
able
to
send
it
back
now…
I
asked
why
not
if
I
don’t
like
it.
She
reiterated
her
previous
statement….
Reluctantly
I
ordered
a
cup
gumbo
and
I
was
not
pleased
with
it
at
all…
Its
called
seafood
gumbo
and
I
literally
only
had
one
crawfish
in
the
entire
cup
and
I’m
not
even
being
facetious
at
all….The
gumbo
was
subpar
in
my
opinion
and
had
I
sampled
it
prior
to
ordering
it
I
would
not
have
order
it….She
claims
that
their
establishment
doesn’t
honor
samples
however
I
do
not
believe
it
would
have
caused
an
uproar
with
upper
management
if
she
would
have
given
me
a
spoon
full
of
gumbo
or
stew
to
sample
so
I
wouldn’t
waste
mu
money
purchasing
something
that
I
didn’t
like….
It’s
not
like
I
asked
to
sample
a
rib
tip
or
something
that
wasn’t
easily
obtainable…
This
made
my
experience
here
not
good
because
I
felt
as
though
I
was
being
profiled
as
a
person
who
was
trying
to
get
something
for
nothing
instead
of
a
paying
customer
who
was
only
trying
to
not
waste
my
money
or
waste
their
gumbo
sending
it
back….
She
never
even
asked
did
I
like
the
gumbo
after
It
came
out…
She
did
ask
my
son
how
he
liked
his
chicken
tenders
and
cheese
fries
in
which
they
also
had
his
order
wrong
originally
because
he
asked
for
regular
cheese
fries
but
they
mistakenly
brought
out
chilli
cheese
fries….Now
im
not
the
smartest
person
in
the
world
but
The
mistake
she
made
serving
him
chilli
cheese
fries
wasted
more
money
than
a
spoon
full
sample
of
gumbo
I
asked
to
try
to
prevent
me
from
wasting
my
money…
which
I
did
waste
because
I
did
not
like…
Im
not
being
a
disgruntle
customer
Im
telling
the
truth
about
my
experience
…Tasha
told
me
to
speak
with
Jason
or
another
manager
because
it
was
nothing
she
could
do….
Hopefully
this
is
a
learning
curve
or
maybe
they
will
continue
to
do
business
this
way
in
the
future…
I
honestly
do
not
see
the
problem
with
given
a
customer
a
sample
(
spoon
full)
of
gumbo
or
stew
to
see
if
they
like
it
before
they
purchase
but
maybe
I
would
have
to
be
in
the
restaurant
business
to
understand
why
there
is
a
ZERO
tolerance
on
samples
of
gumbo….also
my
son
didn’t
like
the
dried
out
melted
shredded
cheese
on
his
fried
so
that
was
also
a
waste
of
money
