If you're looking for the Elvis experience look no further! This unique hotel is wonderful. Vibrant color schemes and funky patterns bring the ambiance of the hotel together perfectly. The staff are very helpful and kind. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Softest sheets I've found in a hotel! There are microwaves, vending machines, and ice on every floor. Two restaurants are available on the lobby level as well as a cafe. They also offer their peanut butter/ jelly sandwich bar until 10pm. They will also shuttle you to and from Graceland where you can tour Elvis' home. A hotel shuttle is also available and runs every 30 minutes starting at 4am. During the warmer months they have a large outdoor pool open. This is a non-smoking hotel, but there is a patio outside for a designated smoking area.

Everyone was so sweet, the rooms were clean and spacious, the beds very comfortable like sleeping on a cloud. Beautiful place I highly recommend for Elvis fans. Our shuttle driver was so nice. Very neat and clean. Miss Mary the food and beverage manager and the three best bartenders Heather, Lauren and Bobbie. On my last night at the lobby bar, I just seen the backside of the bartender, he was to busy watching TV and cut myself on a jagged bottom of a wine glass. Other than that I had a great time met people from all over the world that love Elvis. If it wasn't for Elvis none of us would have ever met. Elvis still brings love to this day.

Well, what can you say about The Guest House at Graceland, it's no Heartbreak Hotel. It deserves the rating it gets, as the location is great. Staff is wonderful. Food is delicious. Room was wonderful. The vibe is fantastic and the entertainment was wonderful. The front desk gentleman who checked me in, was awesome, I didn't get his name, wore glasses, told him he looked like a young Elton John and said that was the best compliment anyone could give him. Make this your place to stay in Memphis

We stayed for two nights. Our room was very nice and clean. Probably the best hotel shower I've ever used. The bed was extremely firm but there were 6 pillows on the bed which was nice. I believe the hotel may have had some burst pipes with the snow/ice storm last week so a lot of areas were closed off and under construction. The hallways to the room smelled terrible like mildew. Not sure if the busted pipes could create a smell like that so fast or not but it was terrible. The rooms did not smell though, thank God. The staff was okay-- some better than others. Some didn't seem too happy to help. Other than that, the shuttle to Graceland was very convenient and appreciated. We also ate at a restaurant called Marlowe's while we were there! You can call them and schedule a time for them to pick you up in a pink Cadillac limo and they take you to the restaurant and drop you back off, all complimentary. It was a nice trip!

This was our first time to this hotel, we traveled by car , when you arrive there's a guard shack . I told the guard I was checking in, she told me to pull up to the next gate which opened . We parked in front, check in was quick they were friendly and polite. They gave us our room key cards and said same card was to be used to enter and exit the parking area . The room was very large smelled nice , the beds were very comfortable good pillows. There was a fridge and microwave , plenty of towels. The room was very nicely decorated. There was an in room menu for room service, we ordered a sandwich and burger with fries. They came in about 15 minutes. The food was hot and good size portions . We walked the entire hotel area. The outdoor pool was very clean with plenty of outdoor seating. Inside they had a gift shop, restaurant, movie theater which was bigger than some I have been too. They show an Elvis movie every night at 7 pm. The bar that had live music. From 10 pm till 11 pm, they serve peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the guest to enjoy at no charge . We enjoyed the breakfast buffet it cost $20 person. Every staff member we spoke to was very friendly and helpful. The location is not the safest, I would use caution if walking around the neighborhood. We are already planning on when we can go back even if you are not an Elvis fan it is an awesome hotel.

I am very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The reception staff was very helpful and polite (thank you Summer!) and the room was very clean and pleasant. In the evening, I watched Elvis perform from Hawaii in the hotel cinema and ate the famous peanut butter sandwich. Elvis' music was playing everywhere. I recommend the hotel to everyone. It has a great atmosphere and hospitality. I would definitely want to stay there again.

So I've stayed at this hotel 3 times now. Each time I really hope that it would get better but it actually gets worse. First the hotel is in a really crap neighborhood. It's Def run down and sketchy which is why i can see them having a gate guard. Second the rooms are small. The pillows on the bed are so flat that you need to stack like 3 on top of one another to make an actual pillow. The fridge in all 3 rooms was barely below room temp so the items I stored in there Def weren't safe to eat and had to be thrown out. The restaurant isn't that great either. The one time I did eat there the food was lukewarm and barely edible. This last time I needed to leave early and checked out. Received the bill then got the credit card notification my card had been charged for the full 4 nights and then the additional charge of the one night I actually stayed. I tried to speak to 3 differnt people and left my name and number but no one called me back. So I will have to end up disputing the charge with the credit card company. So if you want poor customer service, a sketchy neighborhood and sad rooms then this is the place to stay. For thr same price point you can find much better hotels in the downtown area where they actually have decent restaurants and places to go.

Hotel is very clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and supportive. The shower is spacious and a welcome relaxation. The swimming pool area is nice with plenty of seating available. Restaurants in hotel have weird hours and are even closed some days. The prices are high but the food quality is good. They have live music in the evenings, but again not all evenings. So your visit may be hit or miss. The staff are amazing and make you feel very welcome. They have a free shuttle bus to and from the airport, just call ahead to make arrangements.

One word describes this hotel... FABULOUS!! The interior has been so well thought out throughout! The color schemes and decor is unbelievable! It's feels so classy when you walk in the front door all the way to your room! The textures and glam really shine here! The service is FANTASTIC as well! Everyone that works here is so nice and friendly! The staff really love their work, and it shows! The only downside to my stay was that there was no hot water when I took a shower. I tried every knob in the shower, however it did not get hot. A cold shower late at night is not something I enjoy, however the rest of my experience was great!

The guest house was at a great location if you’re planning on visiting Graceland. When we arrived we were so impressed at how nice the property is. The lobby is beautiful and modern, as were the rooms. The shower in our room is sooooo nice, one shower head coming from the wall and one coming from the ceiling (rain fall type). The 9pm free PB&J sandwiches and chocolate milk is a great touch, as is the live music in the lobby. We also got to watch Jail House Rock the movie as they play an Elvis movie at 7pm every night if the week. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help and answer questions. I didn’t catch her name but there was and older lady who seemed to be running the place and she was just so sweet and man is she a hard worker! (See the pics below of her serving PB&Js and Chocolate milk) I will say over all this hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at and is amazing for the price.

We found this gem to spend the night at during our cross-country drive from California to Alabama and onto Florida then back. The gated parking lot gives you a feeling of comfort and safety. The guard greeted us with a smile and some helpful information. The ladies at the front desk were quick to greet us with a welcome and we proceeded to check in. Our room was spotless and well appointed with amenities. Our bed was extremely comfortable after a long drive. We woke up refreshed and re-energized. We had a very pleasant visit here and highly recommend staying here.. What can we say Elvis 24/7, but of course! We loved all the memorabilia and music of Elvis.

This place was clean and friendly. We didn’t eat there but did enjoy Elvis movie night at 7pm while we were there. The rooms were nice sized and the mattress was extremely comfortable. Robert the bartender was great, funny guy and great with drinks. Whether you’re going to Graceland or just looking for a place to stay I’d definitely recommend staying here. They do have a very clean outside pool but we didn’t get to use it because of the cold weather

First of all I usually do not write many reviews (good or bad). I felt led to do so in this case. Being a life long Elvis fan, my wife and I planned a trip (for the first time) to see Graceland for our 38th wedding anniversary. We decided to stay at the Guesthouse and reserve a suite. Upon arrival we were greeted with hospitality and wonderful people. The very nice ladies who checked us in asked is we were there for particular reason? We said, our anniversary. Later in our room we had a happy anniversary card and chocolate covered strawberries. We had one minor issue, once when leaving for dinner and returning our key card would not work. When we went to the desk to report it, the nice young lady remembered me by my name (before I handed her the card) and took care of us right away! Wow, she remembered my name, I sure wish I could remember hers because she was so kind to us throughout our stay. Our room was clean and well kept. All the staff were extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. This was truly a wonderful experience! Thank you to everyone at the Guesthouse!

The hotel was amazing! Staff was great but they were definitely short staffed. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating to our special needs son. We went to the lounge and got to listen to some great live music by John Paul Keith. Drinks were a little pricey, but the bartender was so sweet! Will be back some day!

Pool is only 3.6 ft deep but nice and clean plenty of seating.. cabana seats..umbrellas for shade 😎... Neighborhood is a little ruff perfectly fine in the day time wouldn't advise going anywhere late night.

The location, the front exterior, and the security at The Guest House are 3 of the best things about this hotel. Having a shuttle was also very helpful! I will be returning in the winter time (if they honor my first responder discount) despite the shortcomings because the staff is exceptional and it’s proximity to Graceland is perfect! It has its upsides but honestly it’s hard to reason paying more than $200 per night plus fees and parking with how it is at the moment. If it felt like a luxury hotel I could easily feel less bad about paying $350+ per night. I’m very familiar with resorts as I live on the emerald coast and this is not a place I would label as a resort. The design is lovely but the execution and upkeep has fallen short. I feel bad writing anything less than stellar about the place but I feel it’s my place to inform people of what it’s actually like at this point in time. To pay the nightly price here, I expected the hotel to be in a better state. The movie nights and PB & J sandwiches kind of redeemed where I felt the hotel lacked. It gave a fun sense of community. It would be fun to have some Elvis trivia night or a small ballroom with Elvis tunes playing for 2 hours every night to dance in. I wish the restaurants were of a little better quality food wise, especially considering the price. I would rate the restaurants a 4/10. The Starbucks and the bar were good bonuses! I cannot reiterate how kind and helpful every single person who worked there was. I asked them if they enjoyed working there and everyone that I asked said “Yes!”. Now to the cons: The carpet is very dirty, the walls have tears and scuffs all over them, and the shower was a bit sticky. I considered wearing my sandals while showering. The furniture in the lobby is opulent but very worn and not clean. I went to other floors and parts of the hotel to see if I just got the cheap floor or something and it was the case throughout. I was especially disappointed that the replica Graceland staircase had a sloppy paint job and there was white paint on the hardwood. I know this is a massive place, lots of mirrors and glossy surfaces to keep clean but I don’t think it’s a place Elvis would affiliate with his name at it’s current state. Everything is pretty from a distance here. I’ve read that they will be doing renovations, hopefully that will help!

We stayed at The Guest House for the All-American Weekend at Graceland and we absolutely loved it! This was our first time here. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and updated, and the rest of the hotel was beautiful. The dining options at the hotel are good too! The only thing that I can criticize is the front of the hotel (by the street), which doesn't necessarily have a sidewalk for people to go to and from the Graceland mansion/the complex right across the street. Other than that, we had an amazing weekend, and it was somehow of a cozy, homey feeling, like we spent the entire weekend with Elvis. Can never forget this experience ❤️ Will definitely be coming back! Thank you for having us!!!

My mom has always loved Elvis so we took our girls trip out to Graceland and stayed at the guest house. We loved this place! It was so relaxing and enjoyable! Very clean and everyone we encountered from staff to other guests were so friendly. The lady that checked us in was nice and gave us a quick run down on what they offer there. Our room was nice clean and spacious. We plan to go back in spring and I’m hoping they can give us the same room number we had. I mean, if they were serious about listening to guests I do have some suggestions and ideas. I don’t want to post it here cause it may sound like flaws and all people should know is this is a lovely place to stay!!!

Very clean and beautiful, from the lobby to public restrooms to guest rooms. Both the bed and the pillows were supremely comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. Gated parking was very well lit and felt safe and secure. Location was great too, and we took advantage of the shuttle transportation to Graceland as well. I wish I had brought a swimsuit, because the pool looked amazing. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Memphis.

Not one single thing to complain about. Clean room, extremely friendly staff. The food was tasty , great coffee.Bus driver sang happy birthday song to a guest. Professional driving. Safe guarded hotel. No fear. Great live entertainment. Presley family hit a home run with this hotel . We'll worth the 23 hour drive round trip. Snowed on our last day!! My children and I had a great time.

The overall decor of the hotel was great and the staff was friendly however, in our room there were ants and when we would call down to room service (for something as simple as towels) it took a couple hours for them to bring them. I also didn’t like the fact that there was no indoor pool, no complementary breakfast, and no microwave in the room. We paid extra for a courtyard view and it was less than appealing. Would never stay there again, overpriced for what they offer or should I say lack there of.

The Guest House is a good place to stay when visiting Graceland. We appreciated the complimentary shuttle. Nice dinner at the hotel, although the service was really slow, and the beds were quite comfortable. Just be aware that the bottled water in the rooms are $12 each...no posted signs, it'll just show up on your bill. Would have expected this as complimentary as it is in most upscale hotels. Oh yeah, parking isn't free either.

From the moment I walked into this hotel I felt very welcomed and comfortable! The valet staff are so friendly and personable! Excellent decor, furniture, rooms, beds, and the shower was amazing!! Super fun bartenders and all the food was delicious! One of my best experiences in a hotel!! The hospitality and professionalism was impressive! Thank you for making my Graceland experience extra special 💖

We had a wonderful trip! We stayed there this summer, and the staff was incredible. My mother lost a gold cross earring down the sink, which they dismantled in order to return to her. It was so kind and we were so grateful to get that beloved piece of jewelry back. Thank you again for going above and beyond. We had a wonderful stay. My great grandmother was a Presley and she would’ve been proud of you guys. Look forward to coming back!

Almost 5 ⭐️. Nicest hotel staff in Memphis, amenities are great, and the rooms and common areas are very well designed/decorated. The only issue we could note was the cleanliness of the room, specifically the bathroom floors. While not terrible, they were a bit tacky and the baseboards sported a touch of dust buildup. This said, I believe a staff shortage is the overall culprit, and we’ll certainly be back on our next Memphis trip. By far the best hotel we’ve found in Memphis!

  • 5/5 chris P. 5 months ago on Google
Day was has been very nice. It meets expectations. Only issue so far was the Peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches, Elvis wrote how soft and delicious they were, and these were not quite that soft. But also not made by his mom. All else has been amazing. Lots of flickering lights in our room too. We think he is visiting.

Customer Service is a nightmare at this hotel and they are rude. They charged me over $550 when I checked out for no reason at all when I prepaid for my trip a year ago. Manager won't even call me back or send me a final bill. I read on these reviews to contact some Travis guy. He doesn't even bother to respond. I am disputing these charges. They will not keep me funds. I even had to cancel my credit card since they seem to keep charging me for nonsense. I will never come to this hotel EVER AGAIN!

Initially we wanted to see Graceland. My friend was visiting and wanted to go. When I looked over everything I thought the Guest House would be fun and close to the airport for an early morning flight. I thought it was a bit pricey so hesitated booking a room. Glad I did! Room was superior, staff was friendly, helpful and informative. Elvis movie at 1900, "King" sandwiches (peanut butter and jelly) at 2100. Nice gift shop, excellent restaurant and we stopped at Shake, Rattle and Roll for coffee before heading to the airport. The grounds were well kept, nice pool! It was definitely worth the price, looking forward to going back.

Heather, Bobbie and Lauren were amazing bartenders. Had a few others that were okay. These girls had great smiles(with full teeth) personally wise they were real not fake nice. Make sure to tip them well. Real gets real! Rooms could of been better

The room was very nice. I thought the tile work in the bathroom was gorgeous. The lobby was beautiful wdith the Christmas tree and I loved all the seating in the lobby. Lots of places for great photo opportunities. You can play corn hole on the lawn. There's a shuttle to Graceland which is nice. BUT They really should have easy more peanut butter and jelly sandwiches available. We wanted one but they are gone in 10 minutes. They should let you place your order in advance so they actually meet the real demand. Everything else was great.

The guest house was a wonderful experience from the moment we checked in with Darius, who could not have been more helpful. Our room was absolutely amazing any staff was always nice. My only negatives were breakfast not included and someone knocking at our door almost 2 hours before check out time to see if we had left yet (not housekeeping).

  • 4/5 Josh D. 2 years ago on Google
Definitely worth the money! I was hesitant on spending that much, but after staying there, I can say it was well worth it! The rooms were very clean and very nice, there's several restaurants laid out throughout the building (a bit expensive), a movie theater showing Elvis movies every night (free), and a shuttle to and from the mansion. The staff was soo friendly and super helpful. The only thing keeping me from rating a full 5 stars is the price of the restaurants and no breakfast included with your stay, only a breakfast buffet that was $21 per adult.

  • 5/5 Jazmin M. 8 months ago on Google
The best place to stay when visiting Graceland! Location is across from Elvis’s mansion and museums by walking distance but shuttles are offered every 30 minutes from the hotel. Both restaurants offer excellent food. The room was very comfortable and modern. We really enjoyed Elvis being played 24/7 on the hotel tv and had a great time listening to the live music in the lobby each night along with a yummy late night snack of peanut butter sandwiches provided by the hotel. Customer service is excellent and we definitely plan on returning!

The Guest house is very elegant and clean. The 7pm Elvis movies and concerts in the theater were awesome. Also, the shower is really amazing. The only downside was the shuttle didn't go to Beale St. as in the past and no indoor pool and no place to buy any toiletries in the hotel. A special THANK YOU to our favorite shuttle driver, Cheryl. She went above and beyond to help us when we were stranded by 2 taxis. Plus she was so much fun !

This place is absolutely stunning! It was a one night stay. So we couldn’t really enjoy the amenities that were offered. The beds are comfortable! The bathrooms are beautiful. It’s so wonderfully decorated. The in-room dining was a bit pricey for what we had. My peach cobbler was raw, 😭 but it still gets a 5 start rating. The experience as a whole, from the check-in to the valet, to our food delivery to the room was very professional and welcoming. Everyone treated us as if they were expecting us to arrive. ❤️❤️❤️

My best and oldest friend and I took a girls vacation and stayed at the Guesthouse for 2 of our vacation days together and we were so glad we did. This is an absolutely beautiful hotel and I would highly recommend! The valet was super helpful when arriving. The interior was immaculate and the lobby furnishings really cool. There was a mix up with my reservations (no ones fault) and the manager cleared everything up in a minute and we were in business. The room was amazingly clean and comfortable. Room service a bit pricey but definitely affordable (of course, all room service, everywhere, is pricey so that was to be expected). The room service delivery came hot and was very good and had awesome proportions. The folks who delivered the food always were kind and attentive. Though Graceland was just across the street we had so many activities planned, we didn't have time but understand its really a neat place (hopefully next time!) The Guesthouse is also just a hop, skip and a jump from so many things to do. We were told to check out Beale Street and that's exactly what we did and had a blast. Definitely a tourist spot but still a "not to be missed" location to check out. I would also suggest checking out the Bass Pro Shop (pyramid) which was unbelievable and the riverboat cruises are amazing! Thank you to all the Staff that made such a small portion of our vacation a high point! Keep it up! Sincerely, April Baker and Linda Arnold

Even though we were in a accessible room, the bed was so high that it required assistance. The bath bench was too low and the bath controls were not within reach from the bench. So that also required assistance. The staff was friendly but could be better informed. The information desk should know what is happening at the hotel and across the street since they sell package visits.

This hotel surprised me in many good ways. It's much nicer than I expected. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. The hotel is large and upscale. The food options were great and tasty. The location is great for Graceland, but everything else is a drive.

  • 4/5 A. W. 9 months ago on Google
The hotel is right next to "Graceland Mansion" and has a spacious parking lot, which is also guarded at night. The reception staff are polite. The food in the evening was geared towards junk food on and the Location had no flair. Room were very clean and the hotel really has its own stylish charm. We knew in advance, after booking, that there would be an extra charge of $50 (for pool use/parking/shuttle service/domestic calls) but you don't need the shuttle service (since Graceland Museum etc. is directly opposite/nor do Europeans use domestic calls, and we have never experienced paying extra for the use of the pool - and this should be included in the room price of around $250 per night). We didn't use breakfast, so I can't say anything about the value for money. Staying there for one night was enough as we ended up just there to visit Graceland.

This hotel is one of the best I've stayed at. The rooms are gorgeous, the view over the pool is lovely, the garden is great. The location is brilliant. It's great to have a cinema showing an Elvis film everynight, great fun. As some other posts mentioned they are not offering room cleaning at the moment, but you only have to ask for towels, etc and they sort it. And our room was perfectly clean on arrival. The attention to detail is outstanding when it comes to decoration. We used the shuttle across to Graceland and the lady that drives it is a superstar. The only tiny thing I would say needs improving is the staff at the coffee shop are not friendly (like a smile can go a long way, they really seem like they don't want to be there, and they come across quite rude). We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on any of the restaurants there but there seemed to be a good choice. Will definitely be back.

If you are visiting Memphis specifically for Graceland or for another purpose but enjoy Elvis Presley’s music this is definitely the hotel for you. The hotel is beautiful and sits on a private gated lot that offers both valet parking ($16 / night) and self parking ($10 / night). The Guesthouse opened in 2016 and 6.5 years later still looks great (except a few carpet stains). The bellhop we had when we arrived was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom / shower was huge and very nice / updated. We ordered our Graceland tickets together with our hotel reservation (a big plus that saved time and money). The two tickets were about $40 cheaper than buying them separately. The hotel has plenty to do and the food / restaurants were good and reasonably priced. The Guesthouse has shuttles every 30 minutes to Graceland, which is across the street, and the Graceland Mansion is right next door to The Guesthouse. We had a great experience all around. Thank you!

We stayed at the hotel a few weeks ago. The staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly. The shuttle to the airport and Graceland were a plus. The room was clean. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning. Unfortunately, I could not give it more stars because when I reviewed the statement from our stay emailed to me, someone had charged their restaurant bill to our room. We never ate there during our stay. I called the manager and left several messages explaining the issue because although I was told by staff that he was there, he didn't pick up the phone. About a week later, I finally got someone else to speak to me about it and he told me the charges would be reimbursed to my credit card. 10 days later I did not receive the credit. I called the hotel again and was told the person was there but then he would not answer the phone. At this point, I am left to dispute the issue with my credit card. Very disappointing. As a follow- up, I received an immediate response from my review and a credit for the erroneous charge from the manager which is appreciated so I didn't have to dispute the charge.

Staff was so friendly and welcoming. I was a first time visitor from California and I enjoyed my stay! My room was very nice. Pool and outdoor area is also great! Fire pits were really cute. Also the live music downstairs at the bar.. and of course pbj night at 9. I will say I didn’t see as many people in my age range (mid 30s). But as an Elvis fan, that was my main reason for originally picking this hotel, and because I wanted to visit Graceland anyway.. I would probably stay somewhere else in the future only due to convenience of wanting to go out etc. The restaurants they have on site weren’t particularly my favorite so I ate out most nights. And I absolutely loved their fresh fruit infused water downstairs in the lobby!!!

This place Rocks! If you are a fan of Elvis, and plan to visit The Graceland mansion, this is the one and only place that you should stay. Every staff member that I encountered was extremely friendly and willing to do whatever to please the guests. Rooms were elegant, and comfortable. Proximity to Graceland is awesome. Availability of numerous Memphis guided tours that depart and return to this facility were great. Courtyard and pool is awesome. One of the top indoor fitness areas that I've ever encountered within a hotel. Wonderful nightly Elvis entertainment included! My only knock would be more dining options. Some of the food options were a little too Southern for those not accustomed to this type of menu. Otherwise, WELL DONE.

Elvis theme, gift shop, and general aesthetic is very nice. Airport shuttle was problematic and there wasn't enough information for the shuttle service on the website, ended up having to pay for a taxi when the direct free phone shuttle call at the airport wouldn't work. The room was nicely decorated, quiet, spacious, and generally clean. Breakfast is way overpriced for a simple hot buffet. Food quality could have been better particularly for the cost. Lots of extra fees that add up making the overall value for money pretty poor. That said it's probably one of the nicer options locally outside of downtown.
