The arcade selection is pretty small (only one pinball machine, which was a bummer), as is the draft list. The games do cover a decent variety of types though, so there should be something for everyone despite the small space. The $5 cover is OK if you're going to spend some time here, but I'd recommend avoiding the restrooms as the smell is pretty overwhelming. We didn't get any food as it appears to mostly be frozen microwave and deep fryer food, based on the menu.

First time I visited this place yesterday for a Super Smash Bros Melee tournament. It was tons of fun, all the competitors were super friendly. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered wings and a fry tower, the food was really good for bar food, loved the fries the most although you definitely need a fork for them. The tournament was about an hour long all together, everyone was prompt to take their turn and move on. Pretty well organized. The arcade itself is a little small, but it's totally packed wall to wall with games. You pay 5 bucks for a wristband and all the games are set to free play. Small draft beer selection, but the selection was pretty solid. The machines were clean and all the machines were working except the Sonic the Hedgehog one (bummer for me because Sonic is my favorite). You get a good bang for your buck there for sure. I'm excited for their next tournament. Pretty chill environment, definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, good food and cheap booze. A great place to really just drink, hang out, play video games. Honestly I can't wait for this place to expand. Not only their arcade space, But location as a whole. Just a great place to be.

Awesome spot! Even my wife liked it and it’s just a good time with alcohol! The owner is out on the floor and super cool. I found my bar and even if you don’t love video games (like my wife) it’s worth a visit!

Had a wonderful time visiting over the weekend with my gaming friends. The owners & staff were so kind and accommodating. We participated in a dance dance revolution tournament set up by their team which was very very fun. The drinks were delicious, service was great, and the atmosphere of this spot can’t be beat. Hope to visit again next time I’m in town!

Great new joint in Mentor! Cool, fun vibe with colorful decour and robust wall art. The staff is warm, friendly, and fast. I had the boneless, buffalo wings which were excellent, truly some of the best I've ever had - anywhere. It's a great bar & grill/arcade for families, couples, or singles. Such an awesome addition to Mentor!!!

Great fun spot to hang out. Staff is friendly and quick. Food is reasonably priced and the wings are great. Drinks and decor are themed and colorful. Lots of games from the 80s and the 90s that you remember playing as a kid.

$30 for 4 people (2 adults , 2 teens) just to get in. This must be to cover your unlimited plays on the video games. Speaking of , all old titles which I would suggest fits the theme. Unfortunately they are well worn and shoehorned together. Best feature is probably the mini SNES and the big flat screen with Smash Bros Food and prices are comparable to other places you might find a simple appetizer and food menu.

Fun little place to drop a few hours. Food wasn't half-bad, either. Set-up for some of electronic table-top games is not very intuitive, though. Would definitely consider it for a party for my kids in the future.

This is by far my favorite place on planet Earth! You won’t find people more kind than those who own and operate this place! Impeccable service, outstanding food and an atmosphere to die for! If you looking to go back in time and experience the truly greatest era of games while being served with a smile and great food and drinks, Nostalgia is the only place you need!!! Stop in and tell John that Rhett sent you!!

Went to have some fun with friends. Got there and the staff was not very helpful. Nothing was explained to us even after telling them it was our first time. Found a place to sit only to start playing games and our stuff to be moved and another group to take our spot. I guess that’s allowed. ((We were not in the reserved section)) There was a okay variety of games but many games were not working or barely working. I didn’t think the $5 wrist band was a bad price until I saw the quality of the games. The place is poorly laid out which made it hard to move about especially with people playing pole and the table soccer. Almost got hit by a pole player just walking in the door and then trying to leave were blocked by the table soccer people and people at the bar. Didn’t get a chance to try the food due to our spot being taken. But it looked like basic bar food. There was also a crazy amount of kids there for it to be called a bar. Might be nice to have a 21+ time or 18+ time. It also seems like kids are allowed to sit at the bar which seemed very peculiar to me. The place has potential maybe with a better layout and better quality games.

Wow the smash burgers were great and the garlic parm fries even better. Waitress was attentive and friendly. She made a green blueish drink that was amazing. I know it had orange juice and pineapple in it. So good.

Just not the inclusive feel I was looking for... the majority of the crowd were friends with the one bartender which made it very hard to get the attention of said bartender, the other bartender on duty had such an uninviting attitude as if she was just bored with the world and too good for her job. Contrary to the response I received there were several people that did not enjoy the atmosphere. The equipment sounded terrible, Tried expressing concerns before, but I did not appreciate the attitude expressed from the proprietor. will I be recommending it to anyone? Not likely. Seems like this business is more interested in things that will gain notoriety in headlines versus things that will make returning customers. Hiring bartenders that can actually perform the job duties versus people you are trying to date would also be a plus. Appreciate that you say you try and cater to us in the past but really you did not you're just ignored anything that was said to you and came back with expressly sour attitude. Editing your response will not get us to come back.

It was a fun time, but honestly I got a bad vibe from one of the workers sitting at the bar. I've never been in a bar, let alone a bar like this, so while I'm getting my drink I say "When I walked in and saw Star Wars and Spiderman on the tv', I gotta say that was pretty cool haha" and the man goes "Yeah that's kinda the point isn't it." with a sour expression, like I annoyed him. With this being my first experience at a bar, it really didn't leave me with a good feeling. Other than that, it was a good time!

I’ve only had good experiences here so far. I’ve visited about 4 times now. Games are fun, and $5 isn’t too bad since I only come once in a while. Service is always good. Food is really great. Unique menu and tasty food. I like the extra room for mario kart. I agree with other people in the sense that I hope they maybe move some things around, but so far I’ve enjoyed my time here. It’s a good and fun spot for Mentor. And they are friendly to the younger side (18-19 year-old teenagers like me). Will keep coming back and hope to catch an event soon! I hope this business sticks around here.

Bartenders are rude. Went on a Thursday bartender paid more attention to her friend that was there. Games are ok but small selection. Only had the mini tacos and they were not bad.

Nostalgia Bar is the most fun you'll have in Mentor. The owner takes pride in every detail and the drinks are as delicious as they are on-theme. Ask for the Big Momma Sour.

Mya our bar hostess was very pleasant. This was her 2nd day on the job and she did very good. Now for the bad news. We ordered wings traditional buffalo and garlic parmesan. The sauce seemed watered down. Plain and boring. We ask for the wings to be well done and they were not. The Fried pickles were good if that means anything.

It's cute and fun, not disappointed with the alcohol list, haven't tried the food yet. Always like seeing families hanging out and playing Retro games. Clean bathrooms. Just a place for everyone. I would like to see maybe MtG tournaments or something to bring in more people.

This place was great. Very clean. The bathroom was super clean which gets major points in my book. The service was great. My kid would have stayed all day if I let her. Highly recommend for family during the day and a super fun concept for a bar night. They have a wide array of drinks and games. Will be back.

This place has potential. What's good: The employees are friendly! Our bartender took time to introduce us to the place, explain the rewards program and showcase the featured mixed drinks. The patrons are also friendly! We went on a Saturday night and it was easy to strike up a conversation with a stranger about D&D. There was a group of folks enjoying the arcade games. People were nice. In the kindest way possible, this is a great place to embrace your inner nerd. Play some Space Invaders and rock out to the excellent 80's tunes. They run cool promos! Personally I'm looking forward to trying the Hot Ones Wing Challenge (they have the same hot sauces as the YouTube show)! Opportunities for improvement: Most of the arcade games are Arcade 1up machines. There's only one pinball machine and it's an old (1960's) electromechanical machine. As a child of the late 80's/early 90's I'd like to see more genuine machines and especially, some solid state pinball machines. This would get me right in the nostalgia feels and coming back for more. I'd like to see another area with couches, similar to the VIP area. Our group had a good time playing the machines but there was a point where a place to sit and enjoy our drinks would have been appreciated too. I look forward to seeing Nostalgia Lounge continue to grow and evolve. It's a nice place with a friendly vibe! 11/11/2022 update: Wings, burgers and fries are all very good. The mango habanero wing sauce is fantastic. I'm updating my rating to five stars. :)
